“Went there last weekend and the food tasted as good as it looked (and it was beautifully presented). They fit us in quite quickly given we didn't have a reservation and it was a weekend night.
We had the cheesbread with truffle butter, salmon, and seasonal butter cake (all of which I would order again). Someone else in my party got the lasagna and it was also delicious. Portions are just right for a single serving.“

“We ordered takeout tonight. Had the Bucatini with meat sauce, a bit spicy but very good. Also the Pappardelle la Americana which was excellent! My New York Italian-American wife said the meatballs were very good, not an easy compliment to come by. We also had the Panzanella veggie salad to start, also very good & not overdressed.

This food was on par with much more expensive Italian places, a nice surprise.

We got to sit on the patio, which is lovely, with the water fountain and beautiful plants. Our server, Irvin was great, he had a big smile and was very friendly, he was also very helpful and patient with our questions, and my husband likes to ask a lot. “-INITIAL REACTION- We walked in to a seat yourself sign. It was packed but we got lucky that they were wiping down a two top near the bar right as we walked in. Our server Erik was there within a minute with water, wished us a happy valentines, and told us about the specials for the night. While he grabbed our drink orders, a blackberry mule and a soda, we looked at the menu. -FOOD- My wife was already sold on the surf and turf. I was trying to decided between a burger, pasta, or pizza when the table behind us got their food and the fish and chips looked too good. We also got an order of the croquettes, we did 2 ham and cheese and 2 regular. The croquettes came out quickly and were crispy, massive, and cheesy, with two really good sauces (garlic aioli and spicy tomato) to dip. The haddock was massive and the breading was perfectly crisp, the fish was light and nicely seasoned and was perfectly complemented by the tartar sauce (which tasted fresh and I would guess is made in house but I didn't verfiy that). The Asian slaw was tangy and fresh and the chips were some of the best I've had, reat seasoning, crispy exterior and a fluffy interior, almost a midway between potato wedges and potato skins. My wife got the Surf n Turf special and it was delicious. The prime rib was in a red wine reduction sauce, the steak was cooked beautifully. The potatoes were creamy and buttery. I didn't personally try the lobster but my wife said it was amazing. -SERVICE- We were served by Erik and he did fantastic, was quick, personable, attentive, gave great recommendations, and never once did my soda reach the bottom before he was checking if I wanted a refill. Towards the end of the meal we were visited by the manager Marc to see how everything was and ended up chatting with him for a while. He got us boxes, gave tips on reheating and gave us some to go containers of the sauces. Overall the service was some of the best we've gotten in recent memory. -COST- The average plate is about $20-30 and honestly for the quality and the amount of food you get it is extremely fair imo.“

“Really good by-the-slice lunch deals + full pizza in the NY thin-crust style. They will throw it back in the oven and get it is as crispy/blackened as you like it. Nice undercarriage and not too floppy, particularly if you ask for it extra crispy.

This is part of a small chain with 3 locations in New York. The pizza here is consistently good and as good as any that I have had in New York.

“OMG what can I say? This place is run by a great guy (Josh). And he works so hard at keeping this place in tiptop shape in so many ways. I know that when they make the food, I'm going to be receiving truly great customer service. I have seen him and great crew make my food exactly how its asked, which for me can be quite detailed). He truly goes above and beyond and he offers a big amount of support in encouraging that his team follow the customer satisfaction path in all ways of truly great service. That says a lot about a person and his team. His number one importance is customer satisfaction with the whole process of ordering and receiving your food as well as being happy with it.
