“We celebrated a birthday at Matteo’s. It was one of the best food experiences we have had in awhile. The service was phenomenal from the moment we stepped in the door. We were greeted by friendly hosts, wishing us a happy birthday. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about various dishes. The food was complex, hearty, and filled with flavor. You could almost taste the effort that had gone into each dish. In addition each dish was an art piece within itself. Especially the white chocolate cheesecake dessert. We will most definitely be returning for other special occasions!“

“I had no idea this slice of heaven existed. The portions are perfect, the flavor profiles are a magical journey. Had the filet mignon tartare and every bite you discover something new. The crunchy salty of the crisp prosciutto would brighten up with the lemon zest, or melt with the richness of the filet mignon, then the next bite you do all of them, add basil and your mind is wondering how this depth of flavor exists...and that's just the appetizer. Literally if you want a splurge dinner... this is it.“

“FYI the corkage fee is high, $20. The food is great and worth the high prices.I will go again, just not as often because it seems like they are taking advantage of those who bring in their own bottle. There are places just as good for the price, but they have kept their corkage at a more reasonable $10.“

“Why is Moochie’s always recognized as having the best Meatball subs and Philly’s? Try it for yourself! And the fries are always fantastic. Today’s chile cheesesteak lunch special was phenomenal! Moochie’s for the W as always!Parking: Park curbside or in their back lot“

“The Greek Pasta Salad was the overall favorite of my meal. It was fresh, the pasta was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were bright and colorful. Both the Reuben and Garlic Bread were delightful as well. All the flavors went perfectly together. The service was top notch. The space and seating area appeared to be very open and window friendly.“

“One of the best Italian bistros I've been to outside Italy. Everything is made from scratch! From the Al Denté Pasta to the visible lemon zest in their fresh made Gelato, Caffe Molise makes it their mission to provide a home cooked and flavorful meal at a more than fair price for the excellent quality! Bring your appetite, the portions are big! My wife's appetizer was basically a meal! The building was old school renovation from a mansion, and the interior was open, warm, and welcoming! Our hostess, Lisa, made the experience wonderful with her superb customer service and humor that made my wife's and my meal that more enjoyable! The manager was in the grind with her crew, true leadership and care for her customer's experience. I am so happy that we decided to dine here for our first trip to SLC. I will go back. I encourage anyone visiting SLC to check them out! You won't regret it!Vegetarian options: Made to order dishes that can be altered to meet dietary needs!“

“Food is ALWAYS GREAT here, when they actually get it right…. The people working here didnt speak a lick of English, our entire order was super wrong, we had to send it back (which I’ve done one other time in my entire life) and they got it super wrong again, not a I didn’t want onions and the put onions in the food wrong, like, a, I ordered chicken tikka and they brought out a vegetarian pizza, wrong) THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES…. Finally just ate the food they gave us to get out of there since we’d been there for almost 3 hours…“

“Perfect dinner evening with friends. We were a Party of 4 we were seated promptly at our reservation time. The service was amazing the food was delicious. Table side Served that my husband and friend ordered said it was delicious ( I don't eat fish ) but it smelled yummy . I had the rib eye with Gorgonzola sauce to die for , definitely a shareable portion . It is a vibrant energetic atmosphere. Must try Italian restaurant“

“I don’t really don’t understand the negative reviews.. (How are you going to critique the color of the food, and no garnish lol). I’ve eaten at Susy’s Kitchen several times, the food is absolutely delicious and I always feel good after eating it. You can really tell she uses fresh, high quality ingredients. Susy is very friendly and personable, and really cares about the service she provides. I think It’s pretty impressive that she runs that entire places on her own, considering how much work goes into preparing good food from scratch. If authentic italian food with real ingredients sounds appealing to you, you should definitely give her a try!“

“Per Noir Trattoria was a wonderful night to celebrate friendship. There was a problem with our reservation, but it was fixed immediately by the hostess. We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 dishes. Everything was delicious! I wish I had more space to try other things. The pasta we ordered was made in house and it was delicious. They make 2 pastas in house and I highly recommend it.Parking: Parking is a little bit tricky, but be patient as you look for a place to park.“

“The staff is extremely attentive, the food is over the top. The portion sizes are perfect. This truly is a dining experience. Not to mention the wine is incredible. We shared a bottle of the Ripasso and it was phenomenal. If I had to complain about anything, parking is limited and the building is underwhelming considering the quality of the rest of the experience. Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the valley. And they follow the European tradition of no tipping allowed. If you haven't had the opportunity to give this place a shot it should definitely be on your list.“

“Moochie's is a local staple, offering legendary meatball sandwiches of epic portions. These are not for beginners nor for those who aren't ready to get a little messy with a memorable meal. This is on my list of food destinations I give people visiting the area, especially after a good day of skiing or mountain biking.Parking: To exit the parking lot southbound on State Street, drive around the restaurant to the east side and exit onto 7720 South and turn left at the traffic signal.“

“We've gone to brunch and dinner here - can't recommend this place enough. The food is great (highly recommend the trout and the lamb shank) and the people who work here are so pleasant and welcoming. We went for a birthday - the basque cheesecake was literally perfect. We can't wait to go back!“

“I have eaten more than 50 meals here over the past 15 years and have enjoyed each and every one of them. In addition, I have hosted parties of around 20 people on multiple occassions and overall, everyone enjoyed them and I have always been impressed by the staff here!Atmosphere inside has always been good, even though the remodel on the outside can make it appear as if they are not open for business, thankfully they are. Even with the dust from the construction outside, I have not seen it appear inside the restaurant, that likely takes added effort for the staff.“

“We absolutely loved stopping in here. The food was good and the service was AMAZING. We got the bolognese and the pesto. The bolognese was very delicious, but the pesto was a very strong pesto which wasn’t quite my taste. Yummy regardless, just not my fave. The panna cottas were to die for and I would get those again in a heartbeat. There’s not much seating there as it’s more of a communal space.“

“Food is decent but definitely not worth the price, you're paying more for ambiance. The pasta in this photo was actually really good but previously I had tried the pizza which was average and the lasagna which was not notable. The cake however is heavenly and the staff is so nice“

“Second year celebrating my husband's birthday at Tuscany! We had a wonderful time and as always, enjoyed the superb service, food and ambiance. Connor was attentive, efficient and perfectly timed the arrival of our courses. I particularly enjoyed my pear arugula salad, fresh bread with balsamic/oil, and the tiramisu for dessert. My husband was disappointed that chicken Parmesan was not on the menu at this time but that won't stop us from returning! Looking forward to our next visit.“

“Went for lunch today 3-2-24 and an awesome experience - lots of parking - located between Nordstrom $ Macey's - lots of parking since it's near a mall entrance! The service people deserves a 5+ rating - you order & pay at the counter but they bring your order to your table! They will bring water & cups & refills to your table and offer needed silverware! We came for an early lunch but discovered they just changed to opening a hour later at noon! No problem they were as kind & apologetic and allowed us to wait at a table & even offered water ! I got their lunch exclusive- calabrese focaccia- A focaccia sandwich filled with spicy salami tomatoes mozz cream - very very yummy and can't wait to have it again! It's only served until 2 pm so come on early to try their lunch specials! Everything looks so good - we'll be back for more great service & yummy food. It's well worth the try you won't be disappointed!“

“This is the best gluten free pizza I've ever had. Bwing gluten free i always expect the crust to be a thin cauliflower crust, but not here!! The dough was soft and fluffy and even my non gluten free friends said it was some of the best they've had!! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious gf option!“

“Wow. I was so impressed with this place last night. Hannah was exceptional. Whenever a dish was brought out she would follow up a few min later to make sure we were satisfied and doing well. The food is high quality, and the presentation obviously matters to them. It’s so refreshing to go to a vegan establishment that doesn’t have grumpy hipster staff who just think you should be happy about whatever they choose to give you that day.. lol. I’m talking about a competitor around the corner. But If you have standards in your dining experience when you go out to spend your hard earned money, then Seasons hits the mark. You might pay a just a little more here than some of the other Plant Based restaurants around town, but you’ll be happy about spending your money when you see what you get in return. We have been here several times and have received this consistency. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Unfortunately I was really looking forward to my ribeye, came back raw twice...supposed to be medium. The rest of the party was done eating by the time I got my well done piece of meat. So they never got the right temperature kept trying to salvage the wrong piece of meat three times and ended up being it well done. I've never eaten a well done premium piece of meat in my life Everyone else in the party enjoyed their salads and croissants. I was the unlucky one I ate cold eggs my daughter didn't want but atleast they didn't charge me for it smh lol really that's the favor you're going to do?? Not charge me, and that's it? In my opinion the poorly executed meat should've been tossed, start over and get it right“

“Aside from going 80 in the slow lane Carlucci's is the only thing I miss about Utah. Their coffee is excellent, I haven't had a baked good there I didn't love. Though I have to call out their Decadences (rich chocolate torts) and fruit tarts are especially good. I am addicted to their amazing pasta salad, and baked Italian tofu sandwiches. But their other lunch and breakfast items are also amazing. Seriously go there and enjoy.“

“Stopped here during a long road trip and was hoping for some good food and rest after driving nearly ten hours straight. I was not disappointed. The server was so kind and helpful. The food was good and filling. I was able to take my time to eat without feeling rushed and got some socialization from the kind server.“

“Very reasonably priced and very satisfying, filling pizza. The kids really liked Hawaiian and the p plain cheese. I had cilantro line chicken. I could only eat 2 slices before I was stuffed which meant I had out for lunch the next 2 days. There were a lot of toppings, making it really filling. My only complaint is the texture of the chicken. It was a little weird but there was a lot of it, which was good. They didn't skimp. My friend got a salad and everything looked very fresh. The young girl working was so helpful. There are pictures of personal sized pizza and individual slices here on Yelp, but when I got there they didn't have those. I was a little worried since we had a few different moms and kids coming and I didn't know how long it would take to make full pizzas. She let me know it only takes about 10 minutes and told us we could push tables together if we needed. There are only a handful of tables, so it's not a huge place. But the food and service are great and accommodating.“

“I'm always so surprised when I run into someone who has never been or heard of Italian village. They're so historic that it should be dedicated as a historic monument. The pizza benders and lasagna never dissapoints. I have such great memories eating their food. In the 80's as a young kid, eating my bender at grandma's was life. I have feelings of impending doom thinking they will one day close their doors, ha ha ha. If you haven't been, get their classic pizza bender with the dipping sauce.“

“In my opinion, there is really is very little to say about Salt Lake City itself. However, Valter's Osteria is a magnificent dining experience. From the moment you enter the establishment to the moment you leave is more than memorable. The Ambience is truly an Italian experience. So many staff, so many people eager to please the customer. The menu can be quite daunting, but the staff are on hand constantly to help you work through it. Each dish was better than the next, the flavors and presentation were exceptional. if you are into food like we are, this is definitely your spot. They had a magnificent wine list, which covered the globe. The restaurant was packed with diners and the flow was so smooth. Throughout our evening, they brought extra samples of food to the table so that we could imbibe. we loved it here and if we ever return to Salt Lake City, this will be our go to destination. Outstanding if I could give it 10 stars, I would.“

“If you're a breakfast aficionado like me and find yourself in Salt Lake City, there's one spot you simply can't miss: Bartolo's Restaurant. While I've long been a die-hard fan of their Park City location, discovering their outpost in SLC was a game-changer. Let's talk about the main attraction: the breakfast. Bartolo's has perfected the art of morning dining, offering a spread that's as delicious as it is diverse. From classic favorites like fluffy pancakes to inventive creations that push the boundaries of breakfast bliss, there's something to satisfy every craving. But what truly sets Bartolo's apart is its unwavering commitment to consistency. Despite being in a different city, the quality of their food remains on par with the excellence I've come to expect from the Park City location. Each dish is prepared with the same attention to detail and culinary expertise, ensuring that every visit is a delightful experience. And let's not forget about the ambiance. Bartolo's exudes a cozy charm that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door. Whether you're dining solo or catching up with friends over a leisurely brunch, the atmosphere here is always warm and inviting. In a city filled with dining options, Bartolo's Restaurant stands out for its unparalleled consistency and commitment to quality. Whether you're a loyal fan of their Park City location or discovering them for the first time in SLC, one thing's for sure: you're in for a breakfast experience like no other.“

“I came for the unlimited soup, salad, breadsticks. It all was super good but my waiter, Tristan, was even better. We first went to an olive garden across the valley but it was too busy. “We found this gem on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Definitely worth the visit. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food with plenty of gluten-free options for those with diet restrictions. Being downtown, parking can be a bit of an issue, but the experience is worth the trouble. Also, if visiting during peak times, reservations should be considered.“
