“A great little place to eat a yummy Philly cheesesteak sandwich! The owner does it all himself and does it with speed and accuracy! He only takes cash and checks, and there’s a hole in the counter for large bills and checks with a smaller pot on the counter for smaller bills. You get your own change back. All meals come with chips and a drink which you also get yourself. Each table has a small spray bottle of sanitizer for you to clean up after yourself.
The food was delicious and I will for sure be stopping by again when I’m in the area.“

“My family is at this location about once a month, usually early enough that service is quite quick, but today we came when it was pretty busy. The food took longer than usual, and even though we didn't complain or mention it at all, our server was so sweet and the manager came out to personally apologize, deliver breadsticks, and comp part of the meal. “We had a wonderful experience at Matteo this evening. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our waiter, John, was amazing. We were four adults and two young children. He made us feel comfortable and he understood what was needed to make the meal enjoyable for both the adults and the kids.

Start with the Antipasto Italiano. The presentation is beautiful and the meats and cheeses are of the highest quality.

As for the entrees, all were delicious, except one. The cioppino and the lobster bisque pasta are great choices if you are a big seafood fan. It’s the spicy sausage pasta that fell short. It was not warm when it arrived at the table and it was bland, not spicy. I told John that I wasn’t happy with the pasta. He asked if I could describe the problem so he could tell the chef and he helped me choose a different dish - the lasagna which was rich and creamy and full of flavor.

Finish with the tiramisu. It’s unusual with espresso brownie bits instead of lady fingers and it is the perfect ending to a fabulous dinner.“

“We loved Stoneground! We were recommend by friends who live here as we are on a work trip and we couldn’t be happier. The hostess was very sweet and helpful and ..... Joel at the bar was awesome! He was killing the drinks coming in to the bar while also conversating and taking orders and great care of us. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

“We ate here during our vacay & although it was pricey, the service & food felt fancy. My only suggestion is to turn down the lights. It was super clean & in a neighborhood that looked like it was being re-vamped. I hope their "temporary closure" is very temporary. Locals need to try it out for a date night! “This is a cute brunch spot. We tried the Breakfast pizza, Tiramisu French toast, Blueberry Lemon French toast, Crab Benedict, Canoli's, Blood Orange Mimosas, and the Aperol Spritz. Overall the Tiramisu French Toast and Aperol Spritz were my favorite. We will be going back for dinner next time.“

“We came here for our 11-yr anniversary. For our 10-yr anniversary we did a pizza crawl in Chicago, Detroit, NYC, and New Haven Connecticut. So this year we did a much smaller version to check out pizza more local to us. Compared to the pizzas we tried in NYC, it was pretty good! The slices are huge. I got a pepperoni slice and my husband got a cheese slice and a bacon/green olive slice.
I thought it was pretty great overall, but my husband wished the crust was more crispy, though he liked the sauce.
The staff was friendly, but the music they were playing was pretty awful and the bathroom was gross. Overall great pizza and we’d come again.“
