“We came here as a family for the first time a few weeks ago. We love trying out local restaurants and supporting them.Right when we walked in (around 5:00 on a Friday night), we were greeted warmly and very quickly. The owner was also the host. He seated us and was kind, funny, and obviously very knowledgeable about the various menu items.Our waitress saw us quickly and got our drink order. She also helped answer some questions we had. We got our food in a decent amount of time. It was all so delicious! My husband got the minestrone soup while the rest of us got salad. The salad dressings were different- in a very good way! Really good!Our pasta (spaghetti, tour of rovali’s with chicken, lasagna and two fettuccine Alfredo’s) all had great flavor. Portion sizes were more than plenty also. Our kids ate their food all up without hesitation (regular entrees, not kids meals).For dessert, we ordered the cookie dough cake and carrot cheesecaken. I don’t like cheesecake so I didn’t try that but my husband and daughter loved it. The cookie dough cake was delicious. My son agreed. ? oh! And I found out all their cakes can be ordered for takeout (birthdays, celebrations, etc). They rotate every week I believe. The owner’s daughter is the baker and clearly is good at what she does!The atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant isn’t too big but I didn’t feel like we were stuffed in there. There’s enough room to walk around and feel comfortable. By the time we left, there was a line of people waiting to be seated so, if you can, arrive early on the weekends!Overall, we really enjoyed Rovali’s and will absolutely be visiting them again!Kid-friendliness: Our kids LOVED it! “Delicious pizza and salads. The salads come in a really small bowl which is hard to dish out of. There is a fun fish tank that kids like to look at.Parking: Limited number of spots. You just have to find a place to park by the Golden Corral and walk over or park in the neighborhood“

“Takeaway only applies to this place, unless it's warm outside. There are a few places to sit and enjoy your Italian ice. The flavors are great, the custard is incredible. They tend to get very busy on really warm summer nights, but the wait is worth it. They had a special cinco de Mayo concoction with mango and pineapple flavors served with chamoy and Tajin, it was so delicious. I really hope they bring it back next year!“

It was very rich and delicious. The atmosphere at the restaurant was cozy and inviting. The location on 25th Street made the experience even better. “Great sandwiches! Went here for a women's group get-together and had really good service and really good food. I had a pastrami sandwich and it was spot on. The bread was what made the sandwich - It was fresh and toasted, and had all of those European attributes that I love. Everyone at the table, about ten of us, really enjoyed our food. Some of the ladies had personal pizzas and they looked amazing. Not one person complained about the service or the food. I'd go here again.“
“This place is an absolute gem to Northern Utah. We have been 6 or 7 times and each time is better than the last. We have also ordered a dozen menu items and each were very good. Favorites are the alfredo, chicken parm, gorgonzola, the garlic cheese bread is divine. Their complementary rolls are also amazing.“

“Wife and I went here to grab some of their delicious soup and all you can eat salad. The food was delicious and we had an incredible waitress. I can't remember her name but she was very accommodating and we never had to ask for anything. Drink refills, more salad, more soup, more breadsticks, to go box, etc. Wonderful experience.“
“I came upon this place via GrubHub and I am NOT disappointed. I thought the portion of beef ravioli was small but found that it actually filled me up. The sauce was subtle but full of flavor and the beef did not take away from that. They married together beautifully and made an amazing dish that I want more of! Of course I had to leave room for dessert and it was utterly delicious. Crispy pastry and Bavarian cream topped with delicate whipped cream and sliced strawberries. The flavors and textures worked very well together and made a dessert beyond comparison! Definitely check this place out and try these two dishes for the perfect meal!“
