“We have traveled quite a bit in Mexico over the years. Our favorite places to eat are small, home-owned, “hole in the wall” type eateries. Always good food, warm pleasant people and just a comfortable place to be. We found that at El Gallo Giro. No corporate rubber chicken sandwiches here. Drop by for a fine meal and a touch of Mexico. I don’t think you will be disappointed…“

“We took a group to the Holy taco for lunch today. We were served quickly, and the food was delicious! We had the gringo and the taco. Both were as authentic as I have ever had. wonderful, friendly family atmosphere. Will definitely be coming here again! Would recommend highly to anyone who wants authentic Mexican cuisine.“

“Portions are big and they let us substitute the rice for a salad. Restrooms were clean and the restaurant was well decorated. Plenty of parking even if we did have to walk a little.

“Dined here many times. The food is incredibly consistent. The flour tortillas are always hot and fresh. My one negative is that every steak dish I’ve ever gotten has always been dry due to the thin cuts. Other than that, I feel as their dishes are well balanced. Prices are fair. This place is worth giving a try! (Would give a 4.5 if I could)“

“During coronavirus quarantine we try to Order from this place every week. Yesterday, was pretty crazy. The governor just asked people to stay home. People were lined up to pick up food. Your amazing employees were doing their best. Everyone was stressed and some customers took it out on the very people trying to serve them. Thank you for staying open so your employees have work and we have food. Thank your employees for dealing so patiently with the customers that don’t handle this stress so well.“

“I love this place. The best fast food "Ameri-Mex", restaurant in Orem. I initially thought the food was way over priced, but when I had my flour soft taco, & burrito, each one was about the size of 2 or 3 normal items. The Beef is actual hamburger meat, and everything tastes good. The shakes are supposed to be good too, although i haven't tried them yet. I highly recommend it!

Parking: Kind of cramped when busy. Limited spaces

Kid-friendliness: This is 100 percent a family place. Plenty of kids options, and desert items.

“We’ve visited this location many times. We strictly get their breakfast burritos because they are giant and very delicious. They recently moved into their new building and the staff is always efficient. Great portions and always fresh. Definitely the place to visit when in the burrito mood!“
