“First time here and was super convenient downtown. Parking on the lot and off street so even when busy you can find a space. Kind of old school with the surroundings not super flashy but its not done in a bad way. The ice cream more than makes up for it. So many flavours, maybe 30-40 so there is something for everyone. Great creamy ice cream and the portions are really big so you wont be disappointed. Seats inside and out so heaps of space. Loved the ice cream and the atmosphere. Thankyou!“

“My boyfriend and I came by for some ice cream dessert after eating at the restaurant next door. We got the 4 scoop sampler and ordered two because our local creamery is very stingy with their try 4/try 6. The boys working were incredibly patient and helpful and the flavors were amazing. They packed the cartons so full of ice cream that we couldn't finish it all by ourselves. Not to mention the flavors were incredible. Great ice cream, great service.“

“We stopped in today on a very snowy day, craving a sweet treat, and this place did not disappoint! The owner was super helpful and made an excellent recommendation. We tried the Wendoneada, and the perfect balance of sweet and tangy was exactly what we were looking for! I highly recommend this spot, and we’re definitely coming back to try the other flavor options. 😁“

“I really like that this place is opened even with all the Corona crap going on. Kids are still able to have fun here and build their ice cream! It's a bit spendy tho. I brought 3 kids here and after my daughter's friend dropped his ice cream and I had to pay for that, it was well over $30 for 5 ice creams that weren't even half full. Still fun for the kids tho“

“Customer service was great—the girl working is really sweet, and the drinks were excellent. However, while my fiancé and I were enjoying our time, an older manager came in and spoke very rudely to an employee. It felt really inappropriate to witness as a customer, and honestly sad to see staff treated that way. It also seems like they only schedule one person at a time, which doesn’t feel fair to the employees. I hope management can address this, because the staff deserves better.“
“We loved Pier Ice. There were so many flavors to choose from and the add ins like sweetened condensed milk, cream, or ice cream put it over the top. The ice is smooth and the ice cream was thick. It was the perfect treat. We loved that there was a table and chairs and even space on the grass to take our time and enjoy. We will be going back many times this summer!“
“This Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is located alongside Cold Stone Creamery. On one side of the cash register is Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and the other side is Cold Stone Creamery. Even though it's two businesses in one location, it is a very small store with maybe four small tables. They have most of the basic candies and candy/caramel apples, but they don't have everything that you can find in other places. They don't open until 4pm on Sunday. Good thing I checked online before going over there.“

“My daughter has severe celiac and thought that going to cold stone was out of the question because of cross contamination…..they were SOOOOO accommodating and so aware of how to avoid cross contamination! They got new utensils and got her ice cream from the back from an unused container! They also n put toppings on hers from the back! They didn’t act put out and were happy to help! We will definitely come back!“

“I got a custom cake made at this Layton location and the girl we went through was very cooperative and let us order what we wanted. She helped us decide on flavors and everything! We ordered it Wednesday night and she had it done on Thursday, we didn't even need till Saturday! Talk about speedy customer service! I just wanted to say thank you to her because I didn't get her name! The cake was perfect! :)“
“My husband and I go to this specific menchies at least 4 times a week. We have loved coming here each time. The staff are always so friendly and know us by now lol
I do wish there was more seating outside but overall we love this location!
I do have to say that after being bored one night and reading the reviews we did get a couple of good laughs. Since we go to this location so often we believe all the staff there are the sweetest and they do their best to keep up with all the hustle and bustle. Great job to all the employees and a special Thanks to the owner for standing up for your employees, it’s refreshing to see it.“

“The crew at big scoops handled our group like pros! Nothing but smiling kids, incredible service, and an experience we all walked away from happy! Personally, I think the ice cream with some of the best I’ve ever had, coffee, white chocolate, and Heath bits mixed in, Yum! Thanks, Big Scoops!“
