“Wasn't particularly drawn to the atmosphere (seemed a bit too casual looking) but with 4.5 stars it couldn't be bad.....we went with no previous experience. I am happy to report that we were pleasantly surprised and happy with the food. It was VERY VERY GOOD, not a 10, but up there. They brought us a salad to share at the table, homemade yeast rolls/honey butter that were OUTSTANDING. Our steaks were cooked as ordered. Side sauces, mac n cheese, baked potato were all great. I would eat there again 100%. We were very impressed.“

“We had an amazing dining experience. Not only was the staff was excellent, but the atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Our entire table enjoyed our meals but the Bison in particular was delicious. “Youngest son kept skiing 'cause he's strong and I'm weak. \n\nI wanted a place to have a beer and read my book for a few hours. "Okay with you folks if I sit here for the next 3-4 hours and read while my son skis?" Answer: "Totally!" \n\nAcross three scattered days team at Umbrella bar was gracious and kind while I hung out with my book and a couple of beers. \n\nThe loo is 30 meters away across the plaza. Team was totally cool with watching my stuff when needed. This is a great place to hang out if you're at Canyons Village and need to chill for a while.“

“Great bar with great food! We stopped in for lunch and had excellent service, drinks, and food. You can get the burgers/sandwiches with beef, fried chicken, grilled chicken or bean burger. The Buffalo Blue with fried chicken was sublime - one of the best sandwiches we've ever had. The beef Vampire burger (with lots of garlic) was very good. Nice fries and side salad too. The bartender really knew how to make a Paloma. This bar/restaurant is 21+ so be sure to have your ID ready. Highly recommended!“

“I’ve been relocating from Los Angeles and staying at the hotel for a bit, so I’ve been slowly working my way through the menu — and honestly, everything has been excellent. The half chicken was the first dish I tried and it was perfect for the season; the smoky flavor was spot on. The menu has great variety too. The mushroom ramen with added chicken has become a go-to (I’ve now ordered it three more times). The burger is really good, and the scallops were delicious.

They also have a fun fall-themed cocktail menu right now. I’ve only tried two drinks so far, but both were great and surprisingly reasonably priced. The old fashioned was solid as well.

The ambience is warm and welcoming, especially with the big fire feature when you walk in — it really sets the tone. And the staff has been consistently wonderful. Evan at the bar is super friendly, and every server I’ve had has been extremely helpful.

Overall, just a really enjoyable spot with consistently good food, drinks, and service.“
