Last week I came to ichiban to have a late birthday celebration with some friends, the staff found out and made it so special. They surprised me with a complimentary sushi roll and dessert! The staff really works super hard and is so kind. I have never had a bad experience here. I will continue to support this establishment.“

“my family and I really enjoy Mr. Shabu. We have mainly been for the sushi, and have really liked it. The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. Any ways, if your looking for some good sushi, give Mr. Shabu a try.“

“First time here and will absolutely be coming back! We went on a Thursday night and it was pretty packed. We ended up waiting around 35-40 minutes. They don’t have traditional handheld menus, they have QR codes at the table you’re seated at. The menu has lots of options to pick from and we loved everything we tried. We sat in front of the kitchen and were able to watch the kitchen staff hand make everything. The food tasted fresh so flavorful!“

“Anastasia is really warm and welcoming, food is really good and portion is generous as well, the pork leg dish which is only served on certain Tuesdays, one of the best the dish you can get from there in my opinion, the pork leg is cooked to perfection, paired with a broth and veggies super delicious! “We did the Omakase dinner and it was one of the coolest dinners I’ve ever done. The food was great. The ambiance and company was amazing! I made friends and Corgi out waiter was amazing. He explained every dish then took time to hear our feedback after each one. If you’re coming here I highly recommend the hand rolls. I’ve never had these at any other Japanese restaurant in Utah and it definitely sets this place apart! We will be back! Shoutout again to Corgi!!!“

“My wife is a foodie and wanted to show me this place. Upon entering I had my hesitations… but after trying the Curry Ramen I knew that I had just found my new favorite ramen place. I recommend this place to anyone who has a love for ramen! My son's also loved the pictures on the wall and especially the katana that was displayed on the Front counter!“

“We wanted sushi and heard this was the best place. It's a fun location with a cool vibe. We had three rolls, Black Magic Woman, Strawberry Fields and Ramon. I liked them best in that order. Ramon I would not order again, it was just kind of bland, but the other two rolls were great!“

“I ordered through DoorDash for the first time and I liked it. I especially enjoyed their Yang Chow fried rice, one of my fave comfort foods. It was so good- huge serving too! I also liked the xiao long bao dumpling and the takoyaki. Too bad they forgot to send the Tiramisu. Anyway, it was a great first experience with their dishes so I’m looking forward to trying some more in the future. Keep it up! ??“

“I had never been to ramen legend before and it didn’t disappoint. My cousin got a spicy curry ramen. I usually get a pork broth ramen but decided to try something new. I got a chicken broth ramen and it had fried chicken in it. The fried chicken was great and crispy. My 1 year old daughter also loved it! I would definitely order it again!“

“Food at this location has been great every time I go here. I gave 4 stars on service because the cashier didn't give me my receipt and stared at me and my baby as soon as I walked in the building. The gentleman making the food was kind and happy and efficient and my food was cooked properly. Although I still had vegetables on my plate even though I told the cashier I didn't want any vegetables. Other than that I would recommend and try again!“
