“I popped in here with my Husband for an early dinner. I was SOOO hungry! Good location with lots of fun shops and restaurants nearby. I forgot to get a picture. The food was fresh and yummy!!!! Good way to get your veggies in and eat something that’s healthier! So good!“

“Penny Ann's is always great and never disappointing. You will always leave happy and full. You might need a nap after enjoying too much of their delicious food. Often busy especially on the weekends but if you have a small party you can sit at the counter and enjoy the show of the kitchen staff and servers. I generally get the Chile Verde skillet with the pancakes. A perfect meal of savory and sweet.“

There are very few restaurants that caters a portion of their menu to vegans that put in this type of level of care this place does. My food was seasoned so well that I did not even need to add S&P. “This place is really nice! I love the inside and they have nice lighting. I ordered Good n' Plenty, and I loooooooved their Brussel sprouts and their mashed potatoes! The pulled pork was also delicious and the orange sauce that came with it was also good. The meal was very filling. I think the salads are also a good portion - will come back to try it later. “We came for a brunch with friends and were not disappointed. Service was friendly and the food was good, although perhaps not life changing. Atmosphere was good although a bit crowded. Despite the crowd we did not feel rushed by the waiter to leave when we finished our meal, which was nice.If you haven’t, do try the limeade! They have two locations, and one is busier than the other (Salt Lake City location is the busier of the two). If you plan on going on a Saturday or Sunday, expect there to be a wait. As is the case with most brunch locations in Salt Lake unfortunately.We felt the prices were reasonable for the food we were receiving. Not a bad place to check out!“

“Our first time eating here, last week we tried during the weekend for dinner and it was too packed so we tried again yesterday around 6pm and it was not too busy. Service was decent. “This is hands down the best place to grab food to go in SLC. Really fresh food, made with good ingredients, tastes great. Friendly staff as well which is always nice. I always get the chicken grain bowl, but the Caesar bowl was also amazing, 100% recommend!“

“This place is great. This is one of those places where you order one thing and get enough food to feed three people. Great atmosphere, solid prices. My only real complaint is that the food is sometimes a little bland, but nobody's perfect.“

“We used to go to the Layton location quite often, but they knocked it down to build an In and Out. Sad. We were missing the amazing cornbread muffins so I had to drive to West Jordan for 100 of them to serve as treats at a meeting. They were an absolute hit. Best dang cornbread ever baked, in my opinion. What I really miss is the All American BBQ Feast. Sliced brisket, ribs and chicken. Mmmmmm! We used to feed the office lunch with it once a month or so.“

“Me and my hubby each built a plate and loved the chicken, the broccoli/kale side, sweet potatoes, and the mac cheese! It was all yummy. The quality of food was great and it was very well prepared with great flavor combos! Food is priced on the quality of food not quantity. We have been here 4 times now and they are always quick and fast, but the food doesn't taste like that, it tastes great! We definitely will go back!“

“Avocado toast via croissant waffle with an egg and bacon on the side. The egg has some magical seasoning on it. I would eat this for any meal. Salty, buttery goodness. I like the spacious seating at this location. Would be good for a meet up.“

The mix they use has black peppercorn but it tastes like cayenne to me. It was still something I would drink and make. Non-alcoholic options here are good.
