“Cozy spot and really good food. This spot has so many delicious choices it was hard to decide what to eat. I had the portobello mushroom sammy and my friend got the pot pie. Both were very good. The pot pie came with veggies and a roll so was a nice meal. The sandwich including the bread had amazing flavor. We each had a dessert, I had the peanut butter brownie and my friend had the mint brownie which were both very good. I highly recommend this place!“

“I was visiting Sandy and wanted to try something local and came across Localz Bistro (true to its name). Went during lunch and tried the Jambalaya Wrap with Chicken and Seafood Gumbo soup. The soup was really good. There seemed to be only one server (John.B) during that time and he was nice and welcoming.“
“A must-try fine dining experience in Salt Lake city. Everything was great. Wasn't one thing I didn't enjoy eating or drinking. The service is fantastic and you can tell that a lot goes into the meals. I did the 7 course with beverage pairing (not wine) which included amuse bouche, bread, salad, 4 mains, 2 desserts and 5 drinks. Highlights of the meal were the duck pasta and the lamb. I also really enjoyed the olive oil cake and the drinks. They do have a vegetarian menu (but I didn't get the opportunity to try it).“

“This place is really nice! I love the inside and they have nice lighting. I ordered Good n' Plenty, and I loooooooved their Brussel sprouts and their mashed potatoes! The pulled pork was also delicious and the orange sauce that came with it was also good. The meal was very filling. I think the salads are also a good portion - will come back to try it later. “We came for a brunch with friends and were not disappointed. Service was friendly and the food was good, although perhaps not life changing. Atmosphere was good although a bit crowded. Despite the crowd we did not feel rushed by the waiter to leave when we finished our meal, which was nice.If you haven’t, do try the limeade! They have two locations, and one is busier than the other (Salt Lake City location is the busier of the two). If you plan on going on a Saturday or Sunday, expect there to be a wait. As is the case with most brunch locations in Salt Lake unfortunately.We felt the prices were reasonable for the food we were receiving. Not a bad place to check out!“

I had the grilled elk loin and my dining partner had the braised SRF pork shank. We shared the blistered shishitos and crispy fresh duck rolls as appetizers. “We made a reservation for the speakeasy underneath the Bodega, called The Rest - and it was a real treat. You walk into the Bodega, which is its own spot for drinks and light food - and the bartender there will let you in a locked door and direct you down to the speakeasy - where you are met with a different host and a whole food and extensive drink menu. Dark, fun, great service. Good drinks, good food - and a very fun atmosphere - this is definitely worth checking out!“
“Food here is great and at a price point that's hard to beat! Love that they have non-meat options and a toppings/condiment bar so you can customize how you want. Great spot for a quick lunch with lots of available seating. Added plus that it's in a grocery store so you can easily stop in before or after going grocery shopping too.“

However, the way they serve beer is disappointing, especially considering the care they clearly put into selecting imports and interesting beers to serve. Belgians, IPAs, Saison, etc are served in a Boston shaker pint glass. For such an elevated atmosphere and dining experience, I would expect them to use proper glassware to serve their brews.“

“Ok y'all, hear me out. This place isn't the fanciest, but that's what makes it great. They cook up a steak sexier than a summer dress on a windy day. The char makes you want to run out into the street and yell a high pitched "yeah" at the top of your lungs. The menu is so reasonably priced, and the portions so large, you'll struggle not leaving a larger tip than you normally would. Know what you're getting yourself into, Post 71 is full of "regulars", so you may get an up and down look as an outsider, but the staff are as friendly as can be and will make sure you are well taken care of. Sadly, I missed the memo that the André the Giant worthy T-bone steak is only served on Saturdays and requires a two day in advance RSVP. If you want a good solid meal that won't break the bank, come over and support Post 71.“

“These fish tacos were $14.56. The tacos and fries were both pretty good. There are plenty of tables to choose from and the view is awesome. The service is more sparing, but reasonable for the set up. You order and they bring you your food. You then go up to the front to pay. Drinks are self serve. The chef often comes out and talks with his patrons.“
“We had a good experience at this place! The food was delicious, especially the recommended mango dessert with an extra touch of coconut flavor, which was a delightful surprise. The seating area was cozy and perfect for our company gathering, and the server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. the server she patiently answered all our questions and made sure we were well taken care of. The drinks were well madd, and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and service.
