“While I miss the more conveniently located downtown location, there's no denying the food here is incredible, capturing the flavors of Puerto Rico with a touch Nuyorican mixed in. If you're from the east coast, you have to eat here.“
“Cozy spot and really good food. This spot has so many delicious choices it was hard to decide what to eat. I had the portobello mushroom sammy and my friend got the pot pie. Both were very good. The pot pie came with veggies and a roll so was a nice meal. The sandwich including the bread had amazing flavor. We each had a dessert, I had the peanut butter brownie and my friend had the mint brownie which were both very good. I highly recommend this place!“
“We had came here for a birthday dinner. Our server was Daniel who we highly recommend, he even gave us some recommendations for drinks off the menu that were fantastic. The bison, relleno, pork chop, and burger were incredible. Truly I’ve lived here for nearly 3 meals and this was the best food, service, and drinks I’ve had since moving here.“
“Probably the most accurate representation of Chilean food in Utah. I ordered the churrasco and while Holy Cow churrascos are bigger, this one matches it for taste and beats it for price. If you have any ties to Chile, Noemi’s will fulfill your expectations for sure.En fin. Que viva chile, que viva Gary Medel.“
“Great place for some absolutely incredible tapas. The space is small and intimate and the food is consistently delicious. There is something here for everyone so no matter what dietary restriction you may have they will have something for you!“
“We have been coming to this place for two years now, we love it here. However, after the addition of a new member of their team, Asha, this place got even better. She is so wonderful with the best personality and amazing recommendations. She makes awesome drinks and makes the Whiskey Street a vibe. 10/10 recommend because of Asha.“
“Loved this place! The environment is awesome, we sat downstairs so it was a little quieter but still vibrant. Would highly recommend the Brussels sprouts, wagyu burger, and bolognese! Will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: It’s a bar, no kids allowed“
“I rank hard because I have been blessed to see much in terms of food... By local standards it is on the top. The food is well presented, it has a flair across each dish, and it tasty! I do not live on SL, I am on my second day of a weekend here; it seems to be one more of those places you need to look for, but you won't regret finding it. Hands down!“
“I was visiting Sandy and wanted to try something local and came across Localz Bistro (true to its name). Went during lunch and tried the Jambalaya Wrap with Chicken and Seafood Gumbo soup. The soup was really good. There seemed to be only one server (John.B) during that time and he was nice and welcoming.“
“A must-try fine dining experience in Salt Lake city. Everything was great. Wasn't one thing I didn't enjoy eating or drinking. The service is fantastic and you can tell that a lot goes into the meals. I did the 7 course with beverage pairing (not wine) which included amuse bouche, bread, salad, 4 mains, 2 desserts and 5 drinks. Highlights of the meal were the duck pasta and the lamb. I also really enjoyed the olive oil cake and the drinks. They do have a vegetarian menu (but I didn't get the opportunity to try it).“
“Enjoyed my first trip here. Had a big rowdy group which can be tough but they kept us well fed and drank. Had tuna and oyster apps, would do again. Sea bass was fantastic. Had a bite of pasta, can't remember the name but also fantastic.“
“Very tasty slightly more oily than average food. Butter gives the sauce and ingredients that super smooth taste to the pasta dishes. The mix of sausage and mushroom is blended wonderfully with spices to give it am excellent taste to the palette. Attentive and friendly service. Good atmosphere. Paintings on wall are from a local artist.Parking: Back parking lot. Entrance from street is narrow and for a first timer here, hard to spot in the night.“
“I popped in here with my Husband for an early dinner. I was SOOO hungry! Good location with lots of fun shops and restaurants nearby. I forgot to get a picture. The food was fresh and yummy!!!! Good way to get your veggies in and eat something that’s healthier! So good!“
“We love this place! Such a cute, fun spot with patio dining and hip atmosphere. The food is all delicious, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is kept very clean by some of the cutest staff ever! Yes, we will definitely be back again soon. ?? ?“
“This place is really nice! I love the inside and they have nice lighting. I ordered Good n' Plenty, and I loooooooved their Brussel sprouts and their mashed potatoes! The pulled pork was also delicious and the orange sauce that came with it was also good. The meal was very filling. I think the salads are also a good portion - will come back to try it later. Felt healthy eating it and the staff was friendly.Vegetarian options: A good amount of vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: They list all of their ingredientsParking: Lots of parking shared with other restaurants nearbyKid-friendliness: They have kids menuWheelchair accessibility: I think the people with wheelchair can dine in, but it may be hard to navigate because the seats are kind of close together“
“We came for a brunch with friends and were not disappointed. Service was friendly and the food was good, although perhaps not life changing. Atmosphere was good although a bit crowded. Despite the crowd we did not feel rushed by the waiter to leave when we finished our meal, which was nice.If you haven’t, do try the limeade! They have two locations, and one is busier than the other (Salt Lake City location is the busier of the two). If you plan on going on a Saturday or Sunday, expect there to be a wait. As is the case with most brunch locations in Salt Lake unfortunately. We felt the prices were reasonable for the food we were receiving. Not a bad place to check out!“
“Our first time eating here, last week we tried during the weekend for dinner and it was too packed so we tried again yesterday around 6pm and it was not too busy. Service was decent. Restaurant clean.Signature dish Cam Rising bowl 4/5 shredded chicken was not dry, sweet potato hash and some green sauce was tangy and herby (wish the sauce had a creamier element would def enhance the flavor of the dish)Roasted Chicken 4/5 super healthy portion on the smaller sideMac n cheese 4/5 great flavor and texture could be cheesierMashed potatoes 5/5 one of the best we’ve had. Creamy, fluffy and golden.Only complaint is the portions were decent but on the smaller side so we came home and ate more. My fiancée and I are from Texas and to be fair it’s true that everything is bigger in Texas, you never leave any restaurant without being fully satiated.“
“Very interesting flavor combinations, ingredients, and great service. I would certainly dine there again if I were a local. I had the grilled elk loin and my dining partner had the braised SRF pork shank. We shared the blistered shishitos and crispy fresh duck rolls as appetizers. Also shared the olive oil cake and coconut panna cotta desserts. Enjoyed them all!“
“First off Sourdough and pastries won James beard nominee, and the taste reflects that consistently!Coffee and ambiance are amazing as well, beautiful gardens and interior design, great beans from Idle Hands Roasting in SLC.Execution on drinks is nice, I had a mocha, they made their own chocolate, and all flavorings in house, this mocha was one of the best I’ve had.Overall my drink was made well, with temperature, milk consistency, and espresso flavor. 10/10.Service was lovely, bread to take home, and some toast with house made butter and jelly, hard to beat!Definitely try it, then get dinner upstairs at night! Come early for pastries as they often sell out early :)Dietary restrictions: Very accomadating“
“The server was very helpful in helping us decide what to get. I got the falafel salad which was very flavorful, the falafel was fresh, not greasy. Thank you for the vegan option. The Golden Spike hefeweizen was also refreshing and easy to go down.Vegetarian options: The falafels salad is vegan. They also have a black bean burger but I'm not sure if it's vegan. They also have a beyond burger“
“We made a reservation for the speakeasy underneath the Bodega, called The Rest - and it was a real treat. You walk into the Bodega, which is its own spot for drinks and light food - and the bartender there will let you in a locked door and direct you down to the speakeasy - where you are met with a different host and a whole food and extensive drink menu. Dark, fun, great service. Good drinks, good food - and a very fun atmosphere - this is definitely worth checking out!“
“Food here is great and at a price point that's hard to beat! Love that they have non-meat options and a toppings/condiment bar so you can customize how you want. Great spot for a quick lunch with lots of available seating. Added plus that it's in a grocery store so you can easily stop in before or after going grocery shopping too.“
“Love this spot. Apps in particular are always good. Cocktails are delicious. Beer selection on point. However, the way they serve beer is disappointing, especially considering the care they clearly put into selecting imports and interesting beers to serve. Belgians, IPAs, Saison, etc are served in a Boston shaker pint glass. For such an elevated atmosphere and dining experience, I would expect them to use proper glassware to serve their brews.“
“J Dawgs is one of my top 3 Utah meals! I have been to almost locations but most of the time I would go down to the OG location near BYU. The SLC store has great dogs but the processes are slower and the people are less engaged. Utah county J Dawgs are way “
“Ok y'all, hear me out. This place isn't the fanciest, but that's what makes it great. They cook up a steak sexier than a summer dress on a windy day. The char makes you want to run out into the street and yell a high pitched "yeah" at the top of your lungs. The menu is so reasonably priced, and the portions so large, you'll struggle not leaving a larger tip than you normally would. Know what you're getting yourself into, Post 71 is full of "regulars", so you may get an up and down look as an outsider, but the staff are as friendly as can be and will make sure you are well taken care of. Sadly, I missed the memo that the André the Giant worthy T-bone steak is only served on Saturdays and requires a two day in advance RSVP. If you want a good solid meal that won't break the bank, come over and support Post 71.“
“What an experience! I’ve wanted to try this place for a couple of years now. I finally got to try it out, and I’m glad I did! The staff was so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The magician? Fantastic. The show stopper for me? The food. Absolutely delicious. Every bit of it. We paid extra for a charcuterie board, and glad we did. Every single bit of it was anxiously devoured.Added all together, the professional staff, the delightful magician, and the delectable food made this an experience I would like to try again. From“
“Houston TX Hot Chicken was a fun place. The employees were really nice. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cool and fresh. I felt the seasoning had too much sugar and was disappointed that they did not have any salt packets. The manager said they are working on that. The strawberry frozen lemonade was really good and I'm a big fan of the fries. I really liked that everything is made fresh and nothing is“
“These fish tacos were $14.56. The tacos and fries were both pretty good. There are plenty of tables to choose from and the view is awesome. The service is more sparing, but reasonable for the set up. You order and they bring you your food. You then go up to the front to pay. Drinks are self serve. The chef often comes out and talks with his patrons.“
“We had a good experience at this place! The food was delicious, especially the recommended mango dessert with an extra touch of coconut flavor, which was a delightful surprise. The seating area was cozy and perfect for our company gathering, and the server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. the server she patiently answered all our questions and made sure we were well taken care of. The drinks were well madd, and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. Overall, it was a five-star experience, and we’ll definitely be returning next time we’re in town.“
“This is hands down the best place to grab food to go in SLC. Really fresh food, made with good ingredients, tastes great. Friendly staff as well which is always nice. I always get the chicken grain bowl, but the Caesar bowl was also amazing, 100% recommend!“
“Beautiful views and good food (for a hospital). It could obviously be a little more seasoned but hospital food isn’t known for its seasoning for a reason. I prefer going here over the main hospital because of it’s made-to-order food, instead of burgers that have been under a heat lamp. Plus the fries are yummy :)“
“I'm glad I gave this place a second try, the new management at this restaurant have improved this place significantly. Food is better, Service is much much better. Drinks always full. Samuel and Kate worked great together taking care of us. The Filet Mignon is excellent. Thank “
