“I went there in the afternoon of August 20th 2025. The ice cream was very good nice and creamy. The service though wasn't very good. I ordered a medium mint chocolate chip ice cream in a dish with chocolate sprinkles. The young man brought me out the ice cream went out sprinkles. I reminded him I wanted chocolate sprinkles but when it came out it had rainbow sprinkles. Obviously the kid was not listening or paying attention.“

“I've been here several times, always a treat, and have never left a review. Located in great part of town, just love 9th and 9th. The gelateria itself has just an assortment of arts and ceramics and decorations. The seating area is super cozy. Some tables and chairs and some couches - that could swallow you whole if you let them they are so squishy. The gelato is great, very creamy. I think the best gelato in Salt Lake. The serving size is great too, they usually pack it in and over the top of the cup. Thanks to the owners and workers of this shop!“

If I could give the service TEN STARS I would!! I ordered two soft serve scoops for my children and I was going to split a pint with my oldest and I. We tried the mint chocolate brownie and we didn't like it. I love mint ice cream and I love mint brownie, but it tasted like spearmint gum to us. They use real mint. Many people may love this, sadly it wasn't for us. The sweet young lady that works here is sooo kind and generous. She let us choose another pint. Sadly, we also did not like this flavor. I told her I am so sorry I don't expect you to give us a third one, and asked if one of them would like to take it home since we didn't like it. I didn't want it to go to waste. She not only took it off our bill but gave us each a scoop of the soft ice cream for free. THAT IS SERVICE!! NO where does this NOW-A-DAYS! She was sooo kind, and soooo generous. I think she is the one in charge, so I hope this review doesn't get her in trouble. If she is not the boss, please know that she made this customer VERY happy. She should be rewarded for her kindness and not get in trouble. She understands customer service better than almost anyone I have ever met!! She was so kind and polite about me not liking the ice cream and didn't make me feel bad. THANK YOU! You made this momma happy!!“

“I have went to Baskin-Robbins 4 times in the past few weeks. Each time I am refused service for extended periods of time while other patrons are treated with grace. It is my approach to treat everyone with kindness, but this evening ,I was once again not greeted warmly or told that someone would be right with me. One of the associates began to serve people that had just walked in before me despite serving my friend. I assumed that perhaps the person was shy but when two more patrons entered, the sales associate warmly greeted them. It was at that point that I decided not to make a purchase. I am deeply disappointed at these actions. I can only help but feel these acts are racially motivated. I will not name names because I am not seeking to get anyone fired but I think a greater lesson can be learned.“

“Loved my build your own taco. I ordered a delicious Uber base with cheesecake inside and out with a standard taco shell. It was super creamy, flavorful, and extremely filling. I was disappointment in myself how quickly I devoured it, I really thought I was going to struggle finishing it lol. “I come here all the time! Truthfully I have been to other coffee shops Downtown and none compare. The barista, Nate, is the best! He is super friendly and always asks me about my day! He has helped broaden my understanding of coffee and helped me diversify my order :) I now time my visits when I know he will be there as he feels like a friend at this point. “I’ve been a fan of Nielsen’s since 1990. The custard is the smoothest, creamiest frozen treat I’ve ever had! I’ve been to Ted Drewes in St. Louis and Andy’s in Tennessee and lots of places in Utah, and Nielsen’s really is the best.

The place is swamped on Saturday nights, so there’s a wait. (They have lots of employees though to try and combat that.) And it’s really noisy when the machines are running. So be prepared. The Bountiful store doesn’t have a lot of parking but the South Jordan and St. George ones do. I haven’t been to the others.

This piece of glass was in my caramel cashew. I got it on 8/16 from Bountiful in a pre-packaged pint with “CC 05/08” written on the bottom. I’ve NEVER had anything bad like this before there. Definitely an anomaly.“

“My husband and I tried Freddy’s while at the Salt Lake City airport. (We had already had a several hour drive from Pocatello, ID. We then were to catch a flight to Phoenix before heading home to the San José, CA area.) My husband suggested we get a treat at Freddy’s. We shared a tasty hot fudge sundae, including whipped cream, pecans and a cherry! The sundae was a good sized portion, at an extremely affordable price; $4.69 plus tax. I couldn’t get over the low price at an airport! We should have bought two! I don’t know if there’s a Freddy’s near us- but I’ll check- and next time try other items on their menu. Thanks Freddy’s, for a delicious treat for us weary travelers! God BLESS you all- He LOVES you!
