“I was initially hesitant to try this place due to the mixed reviews. However, after noticing the crowd outside a few times, we finally decided to give it a shot. We ordered their seasonal ones - campfire s’mores and blueberry cobbler, and both were excellent. The campfire s’mores was a delightful blend of rich flavours. I’m definitely tempted to return and explore more of their flavors.“

“I loved the different flavor options here. Order at the window and in a few minutes enjoy your delicious frozen dessert. They offer waffle cones that they place in a paper tray with a wooden spoon. This makes managing your ice cream easier as there is no seating. People gathered in the alley or sat on stairs of the adjacent buildings. The ice cream is wonderful on a hot day and the kids will enjoy the treat. The decor is whimsical and this curios gem is worth seeking out if you’re in downtown Middleburg.“

The store was clean and the donuts, bagels and other items were arranged neatly and was clearly visible to the customers. The order was taken and prepared well. “I’m willing to bet that 5T Ice is one of those local gems that you might not be checking out enough. Don’t let the name fool you - this is place is FAR more than frozen yogurt, delicious bubble teas and coffees. I’ve been during the week and ALWAYS have to get the house special Banh Mi, but on weekends it’s basically like Christmas for your mouth. They have all of these homemade Vietnamese specialties and if you can’t decide, I strongly recommend the scorched-earth approach I used and just get everything you carry out of there.“

“Went with a friend to check out their afternoon tea (which you need a reservation for) and ended up having what is called Elevenses on the menu - basically a light tea. It includes a pot of tea and your choice of a tea sandwich or mini croissant and scone or macaron. Naturally, we opted for all of the above (at extra cost). The croissant and scone are served warm and so were eaten first. They were delicious but very small - just a couple of bites each. The tea sandwich was cucumber and cream cheese, which was disappointing in its lack of flavor and the dried out state of the bread. The macaron was excellent, you have a choice of anything in the case, so I chose the creme brûlée.The main dining area is upstairs and is beautifully decorated in feminine pinks and pale grey, very Bridgerton! Seating was comfortable and we were able to sit by the window with views up and down the street.Food was brought up and then we were left to relax and chat. We didn’t see a server again after that, so it’s just as well the tea pot was large.Overall, it’s an experience that I would recommend. Next time we will reserve the traditional tea and hope for tastier savories.“

“Who complains about ice cream? Cold Stone makes good ice cream and plenty of toppings if you want. The young staff (high schoolers) working that night were courteous and professional. The only drawback is the lack of seating. Not a conducive setting for a family looking for dessert nor a great place for friends to hang and chill with a treat.“
