“My husband and I found this little spot while out walking . We purchased coffee, bagels and decided to have a scone apiece. The owner and staff are so sweet and you can tell that they love what they do. It will be a regular spot for us to visit.“

“Washington rang me up and was so kind and you can tell he loves taking care of guests at Maman. The vanilla cloud cookie was so yummy along with Oprah’s fave - kitchen sink cookie. Such a treat if you’re looking for a mid-day lunch, coffee or a snack. They also have craft cocktails and a happy hour. Definitely check them out!“

“Amazing place. Treat you like family. Hüseyin is usually in front (super generous and friendly) along with his dad or another staffer, and I think his mom makes the pastries herself through a delicate time-consuming process. Of course have the strong Turkish coffee, no milk or sugar! Not sure if they still do but at some point a small Turkish coffee came for free with your meal.

Note: the dish usually comes with a more appetizing looking cream; it was added after this photo (and to his credit he remembered right after someone else served it, happens!)

Also, once I asked Hüseyin about a lemon based Turkish hand sanitizer and he just gave it to me. Good guy.“

“Staff is so kind to the teens. The food is top-notch, greasy enough to satisfy the craving for street-food but not unpalatable. They cook on demand so it is possible to customize and adjust according to your spice tolerance. It is in a gas station, but don’t let that dissuade you. It’s one of Vienna’s hidden gems.“

“Not sure how to graciously ask this question, but I am usually taken back when I see foodies without prices on their menu. It makes me think those preparing the menu may be arrogant to believe that price means nothing to patrons. Price matters. Are foods and drinks priced too high to be transparent? Are all patrons so well off that price to them really does not matter? I will sometimes pass over a place if they hide their prices, just because there are so many others that do not hide them. The atmosphere just by itself deserves a reluctant visit.“

“The best service, sandwiches, pastries and coffee in the area! Homemade focaccia, creative coffee drinks, good wine menu and even homemade granola for the pups. We’re regular customers and make sure to bring any visitors here. Martin is always so helpful and friendly, and the entire team and owner Jad’s welcoming atmosphere just keeps us coming back. Great outdoor seating, with covered and warm space for cooler days. Very community focused with book clubs and pop ups that always make me feel welcomed. Fancy grilled cheese and baklava latte are personal favorites, but even a simple cold brew is the best in the neighborhood.“

Being the Southern inspired menu, we opted for the fried green tomato appetizer, panko breaded deviled eggs were an unexpected and unusual offering that was phenomenally delicious. We also enjoyed their cajun pasta to round out the meal. We had courteous service from staff that were friendly, responsive and informative and efficient and fun. “Great selection of wines at a fair price. the menu always has something fun or takes classics and does a twist. writing a review to really highlight the service, from the host to a nice (not overwhelming) visit from the manager. I would have rated this 8/10, still great, but extra points to Gail who gave excellent service and wine recommendations when my guest and I couldn't agree on a bottle she had a blast catering to our needs and making the visit memorable

“The moment you walk in, the environment is so welcoming, fresh, and vibey. It's like you know " this is going to be good". Then you are greeted, and the service was just that much better. She was awesome, super friendly and likeable. Didn't have to wait too long for food, clearly it was made fresh to order because when i got it (chicken ceaser wrap with fries) it was AMAZING. the fries were so perfectly crisp and warm, the wrap was balanced, warm, but not too warm because of the lettuce. Cannot rave enough about my experience, and the food. I'm looking forward to when i can make it back for another meal!“

“In our adventures in discovering all the local coffee spots, this has become our default. Very relaxed atmosphere with pop music from the past always playing that has, on occasion, induced a sing-along. lol

Highlights include their pastel de queso, the sonso de yucca, the empanada arroz and the sopa de mani but there's so much more including delicious Saltenas and if you're really hungry their Majadito. I also love their Biscoff latte. Delicious! The cost of the specialty latte however is a little high. Though $7 for a latte is pretty normal, the size is quite small for the price.“

“This place is a pleasure to visit whether you’re buying a bike or not. You can stop in for a beer and talk with the awesome patrons and knowledgeable staff and browse their extensive inventory. I was looking for a bike for my son to ride with me and get him off the video games. I wanted to get him a bike that he would enjoy and not get tired and the FX e-bike fit the bill. Todd Mater heard my story and said when next week’s shipment came in, he’d hold a bike for me. 3 days later he responded and I went in to check it and another bike out. They were more then happy to set me up with any bike I wanted to test - they are located right on a world class bike trail and I was free to test it out. Mr. Bill Hellwig is an older gentleman with extensive knowledge and shared with me everything he knew from his years of experience in biking and helped guide me in my decision. When I finally settled on what I wanted they made sure everything was adjusted and in perfect order. It was an awesome “new bike day” and they made the process a real pleasure. I highly recommend this bike shop!“

The name says it all- cozy, warm, delicious sandwiches, great coffee and friendly staff.
There’s plenty of seating, big windows that let in lots of natural light.
Fast wifi is a huge plus for getting some work done.

Some reviews say they are only friendly to Koreans, but from my experience as a regular customer, it's because their English isn't perfect and they don't know what to do. Don't misunderstand.“

“If you are looking for great sushi in Arlington, you need to try Sushi Garden. The miso was full-bodied, the rolls were fresh and well-structured, and the prices were reasonable. I have found my place for great sushi in Rosslyn. The menu is slightly limited (no gyoza or shumai), but what they have is excellent! I wish I had tried them sooner. You have to look for it next to Royal Barber, but it is worth the trip.“
