“This was my first time trying their cookie. I was told by someone that they were too sweet. I tried their oatmeal cookie with raisin and it was delicious. One of the best cookies I've ever had. It was not too sweet at all. Full of flavor , crispy on the outside and chewie on the inside. Unfortunately I didn't get to try other flavors so I can't comment on them but I look forward next time I get a chance.“

“My two kids and I go here almost ever Sunday. The croissants are a huge hit with the kids and I'm obsessed with their Farro Salad (the dressing is very similar to mole sauce). Lattes are quite delicious as well.

Pricing is surprisingly reasonable for Georgetown which is a nice plus.

I really wish they would open a location at the Village Green in Crofton, MD. It would be a huge hit there and I have family that would like to see it there.

Some weekends it just gets too busy but I've only decided to give up once or twice. The host is honest about the wait (if there is one) - up to you if can handle the wait they give you.

Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu and offerings BUT we tend to just pick pastries from the counter. This is the better way to go because it is about all they can eat and there is always some decadent morsel for me to hoover up when they get full.“

Reasonably priced for sharing food, and you’ll want to get a bit of everything. The crackling spinach has such a unique tamarind flavor, it is a must try.

We were invited to a German Christmas Market Themed party — very specific I know… Since it was a potluck, we decided to make currywurst. Heidelberg’s brats for the recipe were so good. We also grabbed their huge soft pretzel (yum) and their curry spread (double yum). Whether you go sweet or savory, you can’t go wrong. Love this bakery!“

“I had to reserve a table in order to get a booth. They told us that booths are only available f9r reservations. They offered us a table even though half the booths were empty. Once I made a reservation on open table in front of the hostess, we got a booth. Service and food was excellent after that.“

“We had an absolutely perfect experience. Our server was Eric. It was my birthday, and he took care of me and my daughter as though we were at a fine dining restaurant. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and professional, and he had a great sense of humor. We enjoyed my birthday order of lettuce wraps, along with shrimp dumplings and shrimp appetizers. He was very mindful of me doing low sodium, so everything came out prepared just so. I enjoyed the Kung Poa Shrimp and my daughter the shrimp minus the breading. “The shop is owned by a couple from Bulgaria. I had the bacon croissant sandwhich. But the “handheld” is actually a toasted croissant cut open with the food placed nicely on top.

The food was FRESH! The bacon was PERFECTLY cooked with a nice crunch (just like I like it).

I asked for no cheese on the sandwhich which made it dry, so I asked for jelly and it perfect.

I also had a oatmilk latte, they have a station where you can add more sweetner, so tha’s what I did and it turned out tasty.

I think this local business has quality food and if you’re wanting a balanced meal, I definitely recommend. I will be going back!“
