The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. I usually prefer a more spaced out seating arrangement but that’s my own personal opinion and it isn’t even possible because the place is small. “My wife and I came here for the first time and were seriously impressed. The service is next level, the staff is incredibly attentive, and even compared to other Korean BBQ spots that cook and cut the meat for you, the attention to detail here is just that extra 5% better.

The quality of the meat is easily the best we’ve had at any Korean BBQ in Northern Virginia. The sides also stood out, especially the crunchy potato (kind of like a hash brown), which we highly recommend. And the sauces are hands down the best we’ve had anywhere.

Nothing is wildly different on its own.

“The best Vietnamese food hands down! When I’m in the area I always have to stop by Le Bledo to get a banh mi and a soup. The consistent quality and attention to detail is what makes this place great. Now this is the way a lunch sandwich should be- clearly REAL turkey meat, fresh lightly toasted multigrain bread, green (not white/yellow) lettuce and (in my favorite case) real cranberry spread. So good and reasonably-priced; I could eat lunch here many days/week if I were in the area more frequently.“

The sushi is the same high quality as their dinner service ,the fish pieces are huge and incredibly fresh. “Phonatics is great — we live right by it and go there frequently for pho on cold days when we want to warm our soul, and banh mi in the summer when we want the tender chicken with pickled onion on a crunchy baguette. “You have got to ask for Jay Kim, he is the best server in the house. He was patient and ever so helpful with us as first time hot potters. I had a vegetarian hot pot, well, except for the dumplings. Although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and provided me with an alternate option. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. We had a party of 8 and Jay Kim made it so much fun!!! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. This was a great first hot pot experience and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to ask for Jay Kim. I know you will enjoy it!!!“

“I’ve been eating at this place since 2023, and it is definitely the definition of “Comfort food”. There are many Pho places in DC, but this one has the best taste! The Pho has always been delicious, with a consistent taste and good amount of meat. The dishes are varied and served fast but without missing a detail. The prices are also very good.“

Please tell me why I was charged nearly $8 for a single slice of pizza, not even jumbo slice. 😫 I also got a side of meatballs (3 for $15), but they were pretty good. I've been here for their lasagna in the past which was excellent, but getting overcharged for a single slice of okay pizza left a bad taste in my mouth.“
