“After this place has been on “RVA Restaurants to Try” list for about 3 years, this was our first time eating at Fat Dragon, but it certainly not be our last! The wonton soup was the best my mother has ever tasted…keep in mind, she’s traveled all over the world. The ginger dressing was so delicious, I asked the server if they sold it in bottles. The garlic chicken and basil beef were both so tender and flavorful, I would highly recommend them both. And last but not least, our server was great! Do not wait to try this place like I did!!!! “Excellent I’m a known chef visiting VCU in Richmond, Virginia and saw there were great Chinese places. Since 1981 I’ve loved however not found many legit shredded pork in garlic sauce dishes. They nailed it, this classic Sichuan dish . When she placed on the table I had flash backs to Houston Texas the last time I actually ordered the dish as every place did it no justice. If you’ve never tried its spicy, salty, little acidic. Steamed rice has to be and was perfect. I started with a great hot and sour soup and then the green onion pancake. The pancake golden brown, crispy, cooked perfect. The soup a great blend had me sweating. Only negative is I’m from Georgia.“

“I came in during the day and had a great experience at P.F. Chang’s thanks to our server, Marta. She was kind and attentive from the moment we sat down. I have a fish allergy and she made sure everything I ordered was safe, carefully checking ingredients and offering alternatives. It made me feel confident and taken care of.

I Googled for Chinese delivery in his area. No shortage of options.
I chose Yum Yum Good Chinese Restaurant on 6/30.. $97.12. (20+% tip) The delivery as well as the food was great. It was so delicious that I ordered on 7/7 ($152.26), 7/14 ($189.50) and before I returned home, ordered on 7/18 ($130.33).
Yes, the food lasted for more than one meal. I was most pleased with their attention to my comments when ordering. Spot on.

On top of all that the service is great and super friendly. They smile and are very nice and that alone makes me come back often. “This is a pleasant surprise… My wife and I are new to the area (6 Months) and over the past few months we have been in town have been trying places to compare to our classic back home “American style Chinese” favorites. This was a great meal. We called, placed to go, and drove 9 minutes to pick up our “ready in 15” order. When I walked in the man working the counter was bringing that all to familiar brown paper bag from the back. Just our luck it was my order, we had a great quick conversation and I headed on my way. Now, for the food, that’s what matters because after all this is not a sit down style place, so ignore those negative atmosphere reviews…

The order was $52 for crab Rangoon, steamed pork dumplings (real dumps, not someone trying to pass Goyza off as a dumpling!) and 2 warm fresh egg rolls. The mains were General tso’ chicken and a happy family. One order white and one order fried rice. All were a great balance of flavor, meat, vegetables and sauce. We are extremely pleased with the overall experience and I recommend anyone looking for a quick filling meal show this spot some support.

If you want a full sit down with a perfect designed interior and a wait staff, go to Shortpump and pay for it.

“WOW. Best little spot for quality Chinese food. There isn’t a dish i have not had. The fried chicken is finger licking, the sesame chicken is always flavorful and The Singapore Mei Fun is top tier. I’ve had other restaurants leave the tails on the shrimp, not Lung Wah. They offer delicious meals for reasonable prices and incredibly fast service. The staff is friendly and they provide any and all of the condiments you may desire (i strongly recommend the hot sauce). If you’re on the fence about trying this gem, take a leap and try it.“

I had the sesame chicken, fried rice, wontons, and egg rolls, and everything was awesome. The sesame chicken was crispy with just the right amount of sweet sauce — not too heavy. The fried rice was really good too, full of flavor and not greasy like some places. The wontons were crispy and the egg rolls were packed and fresh. “I tried Lucky Chopsticks for the first time earlier this week and overall I have to say I was impressed. The food was pretty good quality and above average for a Chinese Takeout place. I got the special combination Orange 🐔 which came with fried 🍚 and an egg roll. The best thing about the food was the price and quantity that you get. “It's a hood favorite. The food is always decent. The cashier lady is a bit short but in her defense, she seemed overwhelmed. If you order delivery through a 3rd party your driver might have to wait longer than usual. The lobby area could use some work. They used to have tables lined up if you wanted to eat inside.
