“I can’t believe I’m eating good Chinese food in a mall. I rely on reviews to make meal choices so I’m compelled to leave this review. The reviews looked promising so I ventured out. Was almost dissuaded when I noticed it was inside the mall. I had the general Tso chicken, broccoli beef combo with fried rice. It was quite good! The lady server was polite and helpful. Will be back!“

“After this place has been on “RVA Restaurants to Try” list for about 3 years, this was our first time eating at Fat Dragon, but it certainly not be our last! The wonton soup was the best my mother has ever tasted…keep in mind, she’s traveled all over the world. The ginger dressing was so delicious, I asked the server if they sold it in bottles. The garlic chicken and basil beef were both so tender and flavorful, I would highly recommend them both. And last but not least, our server was great! Do not wait to try this place like I did!!!! “Excellent I’m a known chef visiting VCU in Richmond, Virginia and saw there were great Chinese places. Since 1981 I’ve loved however not found many legit shredded pork in garlic sauce dishes. They nailed it, this classic Sichuan dish . When she placed on the table I had flash backs to Houston Texas the last time I actually ordered the dish as every place did it no justice. If you’ve never tried its spicy, salty, little acidic. Steamed rice has to be and was perfect. I started with a great hot and sour soup and then the green onion pancake. The pancake golden brown, crispy, cooked perfect. The soup a great blend had me sweating. Only negative is I’m from Georgia.“

“I've been happily stopping at Hunan East, nearly every Saturday, to fill up a take-out tray from their buffet, which has many healthful options, with stir-fried meat and vegetables, all cooked just enough. I get enough food for 4 meals, for the price of two, and that's with a tip (just my choice, not expected, and I serve myself).“

“I came in during the day and had a great experience at P.F. Chang’s thanks to our server, Marta. She was kind and attentive from the moment we sat down. I have a fish allergy and she made sure everything I ordered was safe, carefully checking ingredients and offering alternatives. It made me feel confident and taken care of.

We were also celebrating my friend’s birthday and Marta brought out sparklers with dessert, which completely made her day. “The food is AMAZING. The eggrolls were missing from my doordash delivery, and I called and he was ready to use his resources to make sure I got them and I heard the woman telling him she was sure they were in the order since she cooked them to order. I placed a second order the next day and he included the eggrolls with that order. The food is so good, and the customer service is seriously on point as well. On the rare occations that I do order food, this will 100% be my go to, the singapore curry noodles are out of this world (and I am not usually a fan of curry). I very highly recommend!“

I chose Yum Yum Good Chinese Restaurant on 6/30.. $97.12. (20+% tip) The delivery as well as the food was great. It was so delicious that I ordered on 7/7 ($152.26), 7/14 ($189.50) and before I returned home, ordered on 7/18 ($130.33).
Yes, the food lasted for more than one meal. I was most pleased with their attention to my comments when ordering. Spot on.

“This is a pleasant surprise… My wife and I are new to the area (6 Months) and over the past few months we have been in town have been trying places to compare to our classic back home “American style Chinese” favorites. This was a great meal. We called, placed to go, and drove 9 minutes to pick up our “ready in 15” order. When I walked in the man working the counter was bringing that all to familiar brown paper bag from the back. Just our luck it was my order, we had a great quick conversation and I headed on my way. Now, for the food, that’s what matters because after all this is not a sit down style place, so ignore those negative atmosphere reviews…

The order was $52 for crab Rangoon, steamed pork dumplings (real dumps, not someone trying to pass Goyza off as a dumpling!) and 2 warm fresh egg rolls. The mains were General tso’ chicken and a happy family. One order white and one order fried rice. All were a great balance of flavor, meat, vegetables and sauce. We are extremely pleased with the overall experience and I recommend anyone looking for a quick filling meal show this spot some support.

If you want a full sit down with a perfect designed interior and a wait staff, go to Shortpump and pay for it.

“I have been coming here since I was 16, I’m 33 now. This is the ONLY place I will eat general Tso chicken. I have tried it in many places, none make it like here. They are a family owned business and literally the best in business. Everytime I think “oh they probably forgot me”, she always asks how my sister is and reminds me she knows exactly who I am!!! Not too sugary, and plenty of orange rinds. Pork fried rice was delicious, fresh and juicy pieces of pork, not some crispy bacon bits. Started off with a hot and sour soup appetizer, which was flavorful and full of ingredients. For an entrée I ordered the happy family- beef, chicken, shrimp and scallops in brown sauce, with a side of fried rice. A huge heaping portion that I couldn't finish all of, and super delicious. The only two knocks for the meal were the rice- it wasn't exactly fried and just tasted like white rice that had been tossed in soy sauce or something? Still tasted fine, just wasn't really fried. The other thing being one of the scallops in the meal wasn't properly cleaned so it had gritty sand/ pebbles or something attached to it still. No big deal, it didn't ruin the rest of the food, I just avoided eating that one. It happens.My server was super attentive and sweet, food and drinks both came out quickly. The pork fried rice has the tasty chopped pork I expect to get instead of the little stringy brown pieces that many Chinese restaurants are using now. However, it lacked flavor. The beef with vegetables has very tender pieces of meat, and the vegetables taste very fresh. It’s very good, but needs a bit more brown sauce. The boneless barbecued pork has wonderful flavor but too many pieces with gristle, so I don’t recommend it. Overall, I’ve had two good experiences with Tings’s so far, and I will be ordering from them again.“

But she also gave me and my friends decent jobs, celebrated Chinese new year with us, and let my Dad hang out at the restaurant when I worked on holidays. I’ve dealt with ruder restaurants in NYC for double the price. The food is good. She’s usually overwhelmed with orders when it’s busy and English isn’t her first language. If you want to avoid any issue when you order just say it how it’s listed and don’t ask specifics or changes. “Mock Ham Lo Mein Extra Spicy” and say “that’s it.” If you’re looking for a bespoke experience this ain’t it. I had the sesame chicken, fried rice, wontons, and egg rolls, and everything was awesome. The sesame chicken was crispy with just the right amount of sweet sauce — not too heavy. The fried rice was really good too, full of flavor and not greasy like some places. The wontons were crispy and the egg rolls were packed and fresh. You can tell everything was made fresh and came out nice and hot. I’ll definitely be back when I’m craving Chinese food again!“

“The food was amazing. Fresh fried noodles, wonton soup, Double cooked pork, garlic pork. Here's the thing almost no restraunts in my experience make Double cooked (twice cooked) pork properly. I'm about to be 50. For over 30 years I have ordered this dish from nearly every restaurant trying to get what I remembered having in CT in the 90s from a local spot.

Most use slab roast pork from what seem like days prior. Small ribbons of cabbage.
This cabbage is large soft pieces almost velvety , garlicy spicy sauce, and most importantly the pork is fresh, succulent similar to the best moo shu. No description on the menu. You'd never know.

I look foward to the 40 minute drive from Crewe. This place is a hidden treasure off the main roads. Nestled in a community.

“WOW. Best little spot for quality Chinese food. There isn’t a dish i have not had. The fried chicken is finger licking, the sesame chicken is always flavorful and The Singapore Mei Fun is top tier. I’ve had other restaurants leave the tails on the shrimp, not Lung Wah. They offer delicious meals for reasonable prices and incredibly fast service. The staff is friendly and they provide any and all of the condiments you may desire (i strongly recommend the hot sauce). If you’re on the fence about trying this gem, take a leap and try it.“

Decent ingredients but they flavor it for white people (I am one). Add some heat! Don't know if you can ask for it spicy or just have to add packets of sauces yourself. I would prefer the first choice. Uncle Roger would have some naughty words to say about the lack of seasoning.“
