“We’ve had many amazing meals at Ahso and the food is always delicious, inventive and elevated. Such a fine dining gem in Loudoun County. Cocktails are best in the area and the wine pairing dinner is lovely. Service is top notch and always friendly and knowledgeable staff.“

“If you're at IAD & hungry for a meal - hot, fast, satisfying - find Chef Geoff's by gate C14. Although it was packed when we came through, host was a hawk watching tables & we were sat quickly. Table cleaned thoroughly, drinks & dinner orders taken efficiently but with no sense of rushing. Food was hot, tasty, & generous. Would never know this was an airport restaurant, wish it was in my neighborhood.“

“Walked in and seated at the bar. I look up and see all of this allocated bourbon. I see they have chicken fried steak (my favorite). I of course order that and it surpassed all my expectations. The biscuit was nice and fluffy, the chicken fried steak was made to perfection, throw on top of that the sausage gravy and I was in literal heaven. The service is some of the best I have ever had. If you have not tried Buford’s biscuits you need to!!! I can almost guarantee everything on the menu is amazing!!“

“This is for the Silver Diner in Chantilly,VA. We live a little over 2 hours away but stopped here for dinner after car shopping and we were not disappointed! My husband and son both had milkshakes and burgers and I got the meatloaf. Classic diner menu but really elevated and creative. “We went to Tuscarora Mill for my husband’s birthday weekend and had such a good dinner. The building and atmosphere are fantastic, the service was excellent, and the food lived up to the reputation. It feels like a Leesburg institution in the best way. This was one of the meals we were most looking forward to on the trip and it did not disappoint. Definitely recommend.“

“. The popularity is completely understandable, but it can make an otherwise excellent experience somewhat difficult.

I genuinely wish the restaurant offered online reservations through a platform such as OpenTable. Being able to reserve a table ahead of time would make an already great restaurant significantly more convenient.

And that’s really the only reason I’m giving Ashburn Pub four stars instead of five.

The staff? Five stars.
The drinks? Five stars.
The food? Five stars.
The prices? Five stars.
The seating availability? That’s where the extra star gets lost.

Ashburn Pub has everything you want from a great neighborhood establishment: excellent food, fantastic drinks, genuinely friendly service, and prices that won’t leave you wondering whether you accidentally paid for the building.

Four stars from me—but if they ever add more seating or implement a reliable reservation system, this would easily be a five-star experience.

Until then, plan ahead and be prepared to compete with the rest of Ashburn for a table or a seat at the bar if you’re especially lucky that day.“

“Long post ahead, warning! I walked in around 9 pm and the hostess didn't bat an eye at my dining alone, and didn't say anything about it, which I appreciate. I was seated right away with no problems and immediately got a chance to look over the menu. I will admit, it took a little bit longer than expected for my waiter to come over, but as a lone diner I sort of expected that. I looked like I was waiting for someone, I'm sure. The look and feel of the place was very upscale, but they didn't have any problems with me walking in wearing a nerdy t-shirt. I was seated in this cute little booth for 2 with curtains on the side so, if I wanted a more private dinner, I could have it. It was a cute touch! The restaurant also offered patio dining and since it's by the creek, that would have been a downright charming experience were it not the usual Maryland summer. Despite having a bar, the restaurant was respectably quiet and low-key, making it an easy dining experience. I wasn't in the mood for something wild, and this place really hit the nail on the head. My first waiter Kevin, however, was the picture of polite helpfulness. He answered all of my questions, made some wonderful suggestions, and was incredibly pleasant to talk to. I was delighted to find out that this place takes part in DC restaurant week, so I was able to take part in that promotion. Under a suggestion from Kevin, I ordered a glass of their moscato (I wanted something light and sweet), and the wine was so good I brought home a whole bottle. Not really on them, but it does reflect their excellent selection. Dinner itself was delicious. The red pepper soup was refreshing and flavorful, without being too filling. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and was flavored in the perfect way to make the actual flavor of the meat shine. The potatoes were both light and fluffy, but also had the little chunks of potato that I prefer in my mashed. The best part was desert. About halfway through my appetizer, Kevin introduced my other waiter, Maddy, who took over after he went home. She was as much of a delight as he was, and made possibly the best recommendation of the night. Desert was this blackberry tart that I did not have room for but could not put down. Gooey and crumbly all at once, with a warm center that was almost caramel-y even though it was fruit based. Topped with a light cream to balance it all out, it was absolutely delicious. I will be thinking of that tart all day tomorrow. The prices on the menu were a little high, but I wouldn't go so far to say they were unreasonable. If I had wanted a cheaper option, I could have gone to any chain restaurant ever. In the grand scheme of downtown Frederick, with it's many small businesses and one of a kind dining experiences, I think this was reasonable. For reference, a lot of meals were between $20 and $30, but a good steak is almost always $30+. Despite the price, I had an exceptional dining experience, and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for upscale dining, without the upscale requirements.“

“Came here post wedding on a Saturday night and it was PACKED. Fortunately, we found some seats on the upstairs patio. Surprisingly, there were constantly servers walking around asking drink orders and cleaning up empty glasses and bottles. I was very impressed with this considering how busy it was and typically bars do not offer this service, especially during peak hours.“

“Food is good and menu has something for everyone. The best part is the staff. Anna is an awesome server. She has taken care of our family a few times and she always remembers us and our preferences. She is great with kids. The last time my daughter and I were there she had another table with a couple that had a baby. She took care of them seamlessly while juggling everyone else.“

“Looking for Bottle of Red-wine and found this restaurant very close to our residence. Went up to the shop had a look at the wine display took one bottle each of red-wine Spain and Italian, the lady on the counter very polite and helpful answered sone questions and took for billing. They do have variety of meat and meat products. Can have done beer or soft drinks with food there itself. It a great place to visit. Amble space for free parking, pricing reasonable. We were looking for some venison meat, not readily available they tired to organise from a supplier, since our qty was not matching couldn’t make it.“

“I came here over the weekend for the first time looking for some quality meat, and I can definitely say the brisket I got was amazing. My dog also loved it (don’t judge 😂). The meat is what reeled me in, but the sides are the reason I stayed way too long in that store.

Do things cost a tad more than at the grocery store? Maybe. But everything is expensive now, and honestly, the quality of the food here doesn’t compare to what you’re getting at a regular grocery store. I’ll definitely be back.“

In particular, Lindsey, our server was beyond fantastic, warm, friendly & positive energy (we will continue to request her as a server every time we visit). We’re never disappointed when visiting this restaurant. They treat us like special guests each time Lindsey, our server remembers our order without even having to have a menu. Also, wanted to give highest compliments to Heisey, hostess, who greeted us with the warmest welcome when we came in and already had our table reserved and set up. Taylor, supervisor, was unbelievably kind and visited our table twice to ensure our dining experience was wonderful. Again, cannot say enough great things about the staff and overall experience!
