“I tried their food for the first time yesterday, based on a recommendation of a new employee at my place of work. I was absolutely shocked by how delicious the sandwich was. The chicken was crispy and juicy and the rooster sauce was dynamite! After lunch, I recommended it to another coworker who then also ordered it for lunch and tried it for the first time. She said she had the same experience I had- life changing! If you’re looking for a chicken sandwich, this is the place to go!“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

“Very satisfied on my first visit to Ellie Bird. We came for Brunch for my wife’s birthday. The staff were all very attentive and many wished her a happy birthday as they welcomed us in, which often gets overlooked at other restaurants, but it made her morning feel so much more special. It may seem like a small notion, but it was a touching detail to our initial visit. The brunch menu is small but packed with flavors and meaningful dishes. We love this and wish we could try it all. We decided to start with the PB&J French toast as a shared app. It’s an entree item, but upon hearing how much the owner loves this item we had to try it out. We also ordered the Pineapple Bun sliders and Tornado omelette. For us the trio of entrees was the perfect blend of savory, sweet, and salty, hitting all the right notes. Also highly recommend the Ellie Bird Latte. Glad we came, we will be back for more!“

“My friend and I made a reservation for 2 on the lounge side and it was a great choice. The restaurant is beautiful, modern architecture and dim lighting. We had a great table with a view of the bar and tv. Out several was amazing, she was attentive and welcomed up since it was our first time there. I appreciate the selection of the non alcoholic menu and the variety - I was impressed. I tried the Strawberry hibiscus mule since she said that was the most popular and it was great! I love the ginger after taste with the lemon soda in it. For food I had the crispy sushi rice, truffle fries and my friend ordered wings. The presentation of the sushi was good and the food was delicious! The give you a good amount of truffle fries you can share for two and the aioli went perfect with it - it had a little zing to it. Sushi was perfection, flavorful and you get a lot, I think it comes with 7-8 pieces. I didn't try the wings but she ate them all so I'm sssuming they were really good. Overall I give this place a 10/10, I highly recommend. There were also couples on dates as well so it seems to be a great place for that too.“

“The food and seasoning is first rate. The crab cakes are perfection; almost no filler and scrumptious. French fries and roasted potatoes couldn't be better. Fried chicken eggs Benedict is great. Eggs were cooked perfectly but wished for a little more gravy so the next time we ordered it, we asked for extra gravy. The wait staff brought out extra gravy in a small ketchup container and without forewarning we were charged $3.00 for that little bit of extra gravy. Left a bad taste in our mouth.“

I ordered a Sausage and Cheese Omelette with sourdough toast. It’s one of the best omelettes i’ve had. And the price was so nice and affordable. Stuff like this in california would cost double and have less quality.

If work asks me to travel back for fairfax, i’ll definitetly swing by for other items on the menu. Thinking of getting the Katsu next…

The name says it all- cozy, warm, delicious sandwiches, great coffee and friendly staff.
There’s plenty of seating, big windows that let in lots of natural light.
Fast wifi is a huge plus for getting some work done.

“I was hesitant to stop here because I wanted a sit down restaurant for breakfast, however I am very glad I did!! I ordered Breakfast #1 (2 eggs, meat, potatoes and toast) for $6.99 and devoured the eggs before I thought to take a pic.
Very clean. Ladies behind counter are very nice. Food was excellent. Will be coming back if in Fairfax.“

The food options covered a wide variety of tastes and the specials were seasonally appropriate. They recognized we were celebrating a special occasion, which is always a sweet gesture.“

“I’m only in town for a week, but have already been here twice since it’s short trip from where I’m staying and I enjoy a good brew pub. Ate at the bar both times. Food and service were 💯both times. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and the supreme pizza. Meatloaf was great, pizza’s ok. I tried both their hazy beers and the Freedom and Founders IPAs, all good choices. I’m planning on bringing my husband for my 3rd visit before heading home. Looking forward to having the Stroganoff pasta on my next visit. Would highly recommend for food and craft beer selections.“

“Looking for a fun activity with our family before Thanksgiving, we chose bowling. The prices were definitely cheaper than commercial locations. The place was clean with stations every few lanes with balls organized by color and weight. There were ramps available for anyone to use if necessary. There is also the ability to set bumpers to raise and lower for an individual in your group. You have the ability to edit your score, which is great because a few times pins would fall on their own and add to the score. There were options for scoring using regular bowling rules or other fun games. While we didn’t eat there, but there were plenty of food and drink selections. My only issue was the balls were very oily and the finger holes were very small. Staff said that’s how they were ordered but offered me a small container of baby powder to use.“
