“As a peruvian customer, I give this place a whopping 4.5. One of the best, juiciest pollo la brasa in the DMV! The fries, yucca, arroz chaufa, and black beans are tasty too. They need Inca Cola, and staff can be more patient. The place is clean, and comfortable to eat in. Def recommend this place.“

“Never dined in, always carried out food. Inside looked roomy enough for diners, and reasonably clean. There is plenty of parking outside. Service is pretty quick, especially when you call ahead. Chicken is always great, the whole chicken is enough to feed the family, and fall-off-the bone good. Made to order subs are really good and come with plenty of fries. This is my go-to spot for quick and convenient Peruvian chicken.“

After months of trying to get into this restaurant, I'm very glad that I had the opportunity to try this place.I thoroughly enjoyed the overall ambiance of the restaurant and the simplistic yet personal decor. It's a fully transformed establishment since its days as VAPiano.To start off, we were seated quickly and greeted by Ernesto. Ernesto was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and was very warm and inviting. He offered some excellent recommendations and was able to help me navigate the menu since most of the options were completely foreign to me.I greatly appreciated his enthusiasm and willingness to provide an excellent experience for us.We ordered Pisco Sours, Salmon Ceviche, Chicken Empanadas, Tostones Sampler, & the Calamari Fried Rice.All dishes were superb and I would definitely come back just to eat the Salmon Ceviche & Pisco Sour. “This review is for the ANTICHUCHO - Marinated chunks of beef heart skewered and served with Peruvian corn and grilled potatoes. The flavoring on meat with dipping sauce was on point! The potatoes were seasoned well although I wished there were a few more pieces. The giant Peruvian corn over salad was refreshing! I would love to try more items from their menu.“

“My husband and I went for lunch. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! We both ate a huge meal with beverages included for $21.00 and it was SOOOO delicious!! “10/10 must try! My partner, his brother, and I all got the chicken, plantains, and fried yuca and it was amazing! The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the yuca was fried to perfection, and the plantains were perfectly sweet! The yellow sauce and salsa verde were the perfect complements to the dish and each had their own wonderful sweet or spicy balance to them! The atmosphere is authentic and while there’s very little seating the food is something you could take anywhere if your patient enough to wait before eating!Parking: Parking is shared with other businesses in the strip so availability depends on the time of day.Kid-friendliness: I believe I saw a portion on the menu for kids but the kids I saw there were happy to get the chicken and French fries.“

“Been going here since high school, I graduated college now. Over 6 years the quality and sheer value has not changed. Honestly why would you eat fast food when you can get this? The 1/4 chicken dark with rice and beans and potato salad with the yellow sauce always hits. Highly recommended!“

“Our family all tried different dishes, and everyone was fully satisfied. The Lomo Saltado, Peruvian pesto pasta with steak, and ceviche mixto were as worth coming back for! We also all tried different desserts and were happy when everyone's favorite was different. I have no idea what flavors they were but we all enjoyed them and the homemade drinks.“

“Rotisserie chicken is simply delicious. Tender, juicy, and flavorful. Skin isn't super crispy but it's still tasty. Service is always polite and quick, zero complaints whatsoever. Also the green sauce is flavorful and has a nice kick, stark difference from pollo express which has a tasteless green sauce.“

“I wanted to try a different burger place and this is one of the best in my area. Burgers are made to order and fresh. You can custom make them or order one off the menu. I enjoyed my monster burger, but next time I'll try the roasted chicken to get a better feel to the place. Burgers can be to your liking med rare, well done or any way you'd like and full of flavor. Can't go wrong I was just there yesterday and my family and I enjoyed it plus they have coke products. Great service by the cashier and the cook. “At Raices Peruvian restaurant I visited was a delightful culinary experience. Their cilantro lime chicken was a standout dish, perfectly balancing the tanginess of lime with the freshness of cilantro. The chicken was tender and juicy, infused with aromatic flavors that danced on my palate with each bite. The dish was served with a side of fluffy rice and yucca enhancing its vibrant flavors even more. It was a memorable dining experience that left me craving more.My personal recommendations. Stop flat topping the chicken. Every dish should use the rotisserie chicken. You have this huge rotisserie, put that tender moist chicken in every dish. Also get some native prints of Peru and hand on the walls in the table area. Lastly, you have a fake wall full of vines. Well those of us in the reviewer biz. Well it’s nothing but a dust collector and it’s right by your serving area. Ever time the air moves, so does dust in there.Overall a great place to eat, would just like to see a few changes. Including an Ice Maker that actually makes ice.“

“We got takeout for dinner from this place and we were hesitant since we didn’t know anything about it. OMG, you have to try this food. It was amazingly good. The chicken was juicy and smoky… just perfect. My 9 yr old ended up almost eating the whole chicken by himself and he’s a picky eater. Highly recommend. The ceviche was spicy and on point.
