“I am quite literally at CAFEIN almost every day. I am a regular at Chantilly location. My partner is a regular at Centreville location. Most workers know both of us separately. I want to start off by saying CAFEIN has hands down the BEST coffee in all of DMV. Nothing compares. I can tell when a business is using CAFEIN beans. That’s how good and unique and high quality it is, there is a reason I’m there every day, and MOST workers are sweet, kind, and amazing. Truly. Every interaction has been nothing short of top tier customer service EXCEPT for one singular person who has repeatedly been rude. At this point CAFEIN needs to step in and discuss this persons behavior and if they want to be associated and represented in this way.

I think this person is a manager at the Chantilly location. She is an Asian female, and unfortunately she has made a terrible reputation for herself as being the rude worker here, trust me she’s known for that for anybody who goes to This location. Firstly I don’t understand the 3pm closing time, but second if a business says 3pm closing time, that doesn’t mean 2:55pm. That means you TAKE ORDERS TILL 3pm. That’s how all businesses work. If your hours are REALLY till 2:45pm then set your business hours officially to that time. This woman has repeatedly rudely spoken to customers, including myself to get them out of the store as it nears 3pm. She comes around and interrupts conversations to make sure they know when to leave. She doesn’t take orders sometimes when it’s nearing 3pm. She shuts off online orders too, to avoid anybody coming in before closing. She isn’t nice about it either, she’s rude in how she speaks to customers.
Today I walk in, a small family with one child walks in front of me, and at 2:58pm (I know it was end of day and that’s my bad) but she immediately says WE CLOSE AT 3PM, and turns everybody away. The small child says but it’s not 3! And frowns as we all walk out. I look forward to my coffee as one of the best parts of my day and truly think CAFEIN is amazing but this one manager is just so rude. Just change your hours if you don’t actually take orders before 3pm, if you don’t plan on getting rid of this rude woman. Everybody at Centreville location is so nice to my partner he is met with being treated with familiarity and inclusivity as somebody who’s a regular. He was on the phone with me when I walked in today & was shocked they turned me away before 3. This was not the first time btw there was one or two times in the past I had even called in & said hey I placed a pickup order and my eta was 3pm on the dot and I have pulled up & had the door locked on me or still been met with WE ARE CLOSED rudely by solely only her. She needs an attitude check. Maybe she doesn’t belong in a coffee shop where you need to have a friendly personality.“

“Every time I come here the atmosphere is amazing. The staff is super friendly.
The food is excellent, the service is on point, and the overall vibe makes this one of my favorite spots. Hands down a 5-star experience every time. If you’re thinking about coming here—do it.“

“I tried Peet’s Coffee for the first time and WOW—way beyond my expectations. I ordered the vanilla caramel frappe and it was so delicious. I love that they add the caramel at the bottom of the cup instead of just on the sides—every single sip had the perfect balance of caramel and vanilla. Absolutely amazing.

This is officially my new favorite place to go for coffee. I can’t remember the name of the girl who helped me, but she was incredibly sweet and kind. Honestly, the entire staff was welcoming, professional, and friendly. Such a great environment—I’ll definitely be back! ☕✨“

“ABSOLUTLEY YES - my nephew ordered Door Dash for my birthday and the Souffle Cheese Cake is AMAZING and Emmy who works there and answered the phone was delightful when I explained I had received an order for my birthday and confirmed how to heat up my Croque Monsieur sandwich! “The Human Bean was one of my favorite drive thru coffee of my youth and I always stop there whenever on the west coast. So glad to have found you on this side even if you're almost an hour drive away, you're still worth it

Baristas are nice and friendly. Drinks are tasty, even the granitas. They have several picnic tables out so it's not strictly a drive thru. It's nice to be able to chill while enjoying your drink out in the nice weather.“

“This place offers some of the highest quality sandwiches and plenty of delicious desserts! The staff is very friendly! It is very big inside and plenty of seats to sit in, whether it is with family or friends, or even your significant other!
It is definitely a hidden gem!

“Oh my gosh! I love this place! We were visiting from Texas and this was our everyday morning stop (and it may or may not have been an evening snack or two also ). All the different pastries were awesome (my son had a mango cream bun every time). You HAVE to try the Tiramisu latte. Oh! Oh! And the Black Forest Cake was the friggin bomb! More than how great the food was, the ownership and staff were spectacular! We felt like we were popping in and seeing old friends. If I am ever anywhere near here, I will definitely come by for more delicious treats!! If you live nearby, support this locally owned shop. They deserve all the success possible.“

“Despite this location being inside the Harris Teeter grocery store, they actually make better coffee than the drive thru/store Starbucks locations around the area. The baristas are friendly and are much more thorough when making your beverage than the ones being rushed with a 20 car line. Plus I can grab any groceries I forgot while I’m there!“

“This place is absolutely phenomenal. It’s a great place to go and meet people let alone buy some fine pastries and sit down and have a conversation with somebody that you don’t even know. I come here quite often. Just sit down and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a Boba tea. I need a fine pastry. I end up leaving with 50+ dollars or more in pastries either for my family or friends and family at work each and every time I come in this place it’s absolutely amazing. The service is beyond the people that come to this place are awesome. I’ve never ever in the last few years that I’ve been going to this place had a bad experience every each, and every time that I come into this place is amazing.“

“A Starbucks review really hinges on three things, the drink, the people, and the place.This location gets 5 stars for my drink today. Fast delivery to the counter (no drive thru at this store - but I always go inside anyway) and it was put together well - tight lid, hot beverage sleeve thingy, and no spills and stuff on the outside of the cup (hate that)The team was working really well together and the short line showed that. Fine job.The place is Starbucks standard furniture and fixtures and they have nice outside seating here. Bonus points on a good weather day.Very well done here today SBX. thanks.“
