I was really having a bad day, so this energy really made me excited to be there and eat. Ordering with the little gigglemug boy Ikram really made me a happy cabbage. It was just the pang-wangle I need to brighten my day. I ordered a number 3 with medium spice, and might I tell you it was delightful, dare I say near perfection. This is all thanks to my little kadoova Ikram, he really did it special, even going out of his way to advertise me a special drink called a flash in fruit punch slushy. For this hot day, it really hit the spot. This experience at Dave’s was just a 10/10. The food and service was just amazing. Ikram was simply the bee’s knees, the cherry on top for this experience.to have such another amazing experience at a take out restaurant, it would compare to herding cats! “TL;DR: Good Korean Fried Chicken, but has lots of other dishes/options

I haven't been to Chi Mc for over 10 years, but we tried the newer Centreville location over the summer. Interior is very cute - dark lighting, string lights, etc. They have plenty of tables, but also a bar area with TVs to enjoy a game.

Service is always friendly, but at times they can be understaffed, so be patient. Food comes out quickly, except the fried chicken which they preface will take about 20 minutes, since it's made to order.

FOOD:
~Fries (5/5): nice and crispy; very well seasoned. Comes with ketchup and spicy mayo

~Fried Chicken (5/5): 2 Flavors: Soy Garlic or Spicy - both flavorful;
~~2 types: wings (typically wings/drumettes) or drums (giant drumstick)
~~We like the wings (the drums are too large and doesn't absorb as much flavor). It is so crispy and has a good amount of meat on it

~Tteokbokki (4.5/5): One of my favorite tteokbokkis in the area. Comes with dumplings and gimmari (but they get soggy fast). I add ramen noodles too. The sauce is usually a good consistency, but at times it is a little watery

~Maneul dakddongjip (2/5): chicken gizzards. It was just okay. Gizzards are meant to be chewy, but these were a little too much/kind of burnt. The flavor was a little lacking, and the dish was overall very greasy

~Chicken katsu with cream udon (5/5): The katsu was surprisingly really good, though non-traditional. Reminded me of country fried steak breading. The cream udon was very good. Udon was cooked nicely with great chew. The sauce had a lot of garlic flavor and wasn't too rich from all the cream. Nicely balanced.

~Beers come in a nice frosted mug which is a nice touch

The staff is always friendly and goes the extra mile offering to get drink refills or throw out your trash when you are done eating. The gold standard for fast food dining experiences. “Visited for the first time, food was good, only thing I noticed was that the floor was very sticky as if it hadn't been mopped for a while, and there were plastic straw wrapping on the floor and a associate picked them up with her hands instead of useing a brush and dust pan, I'm hoping the associate changed the gloves she had on before preparing another meal.“

“20251231 I spotted this restaurant when I was at State Farm several doors down. I walked in 15 mins after it was open, first customer there. The lady who took my order was not friendly. I felt like I was bothering her. After paying for my order, she informed me that it will be 17 mins wait. Being first time here, I'm not sure if that's normal, but I can't imagine every customer has to wait 17 mins for their order?? I really like the chicken. It was so crunchy, tasty, juicy, and a little spicy even though I got Medium. I will definitely come back, but probably not this location.“

“I lived in Georgia for a long time, and that's where Zaxby's started. Everyone had their favorite spot, some better than others. This is the only one I know of in Virginia. I'm not sure I'd make a special trip, but if I'm in the area, I'll stop by. The food's decent, the place is clean and quiet. The staff was great when I went. It reminds me a little bit of Georgia.

I had buffalo fingers and fries; theirs are seasoned, and I really like them when they're hot. My friend had the chicken sandwich. You can pick your spice level, but it's not super intense like some hot chicken places. There's plenty of food, ours was hot and fresh, and we enjoyed it.“
