Will be our go to place for both dine in and take out!“
“Hot pot was supper good with good portions per each person. Workers were super nice and are always walking around if you need anything. The prime rib was so tender and melts in your mouth. Not to mention the sauce that they give you the instructions to make is amazing and you can choose how much of an ingredient to add in.“

“Came here with some friends and ordered the cheese katsu! The food looked like the photos but for me the food wasn't very filling. A few friends ordered the rosu katsu and mine was like half the amount as theirs. They all took home leftovers where I ate it all and wasn't full full. For my meal, I ordered the nigiri only Omakase (Chef Inspired Platter) which came with a miso soup and salad. The taste brought me back to Japan. Only thing is that the portions they give are rather small for a party of multiple people- we had four people in our party, (occasionally, it’s not enough for everyone to just take one), but we just ordered more with the all-you-can-eat system. You can order 3 items from each category at a time. Prime ribeye, brisket, squid, fish balls, shrimp balls are really good. Other items are delicious too. We love our shabu2, tom yum, and sichuan mala soup. Dipping sauce are also very good, especially the hot spot one.“
“This place is always packed, and there's a reason: It is amazing. Our go to is the bubba, yummy Yama and pan fried gyoza. It's right up there with the best sushi we've ever had. And they also have subtle touches, like they put the gyoza in styrofoam containers, and then they poke holes in the styrofoam to make sure the gyoza stays crispy and doesn't soften with its own steam. Also, they will hold open the doors for you if your hands are full with a carry out order. Such nice touches!“

My dad's allergic to egg, so they make sure to avoid adding imitation crab in his dish. Ambiance is casual and comfortable for any occasion dining. Seatings a bit cozy because it's a bit smaller size restaurant, but it doesn't feel too claustrophobic.“

“Treated my cousin to Sweet Ginger for his birthday and we were both amazed by the quality and quantity of food we received for the price paid. We made it easy for our patient and attentive waiter by ordering two Thai iced tea and the Bento Box A with beef teriyaki. Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. Starting with the Thai iced tea; which was almost like a dessert. So smooth and sweet! It complimented the meal. The miso soup was comforting and had a balanced ratio of broth, tofu, greens, and green onion. The salad was fresh, crisp, and dressed with a rich and tasty peanut dressing. Of course, the highlight of our meal was the incredible bento boxes. The tempura shrimp and vegetables were my favorite. They were breaded to ideal crispiness and paired well with the soy dipping sauce. The vegetables were one big broccoli floret and large sliced carrot and zucchini medallions. The teriyaki steak was scrumptious, served on a bed of cabbage slaw with a generous amount of sauce. There was enough for me to dip other box components into, like the California rolls, tofu, and the Japanese dumpling. We dusted off everything. Not even the leftover salad dressing remained because we drank it all up! The whole experience was so much fun and we had a blast. Can't wait to go back. We left feeling satisfied and can add this to our list of happy memories!“

We share the shrimp and vegetable tempura which was excellent but the dipping sauce was very small .I think my daughter’s chicken was better than my steak which was a tad chewy. I didn’t get hot mustard with my spring roll which made its bit bland. Wasabi portion was so small that I could not even taste it. The food was typical for this price point, but the 45 minutes drive puts it too far out for a repeat visit.“

Of course, now I get home and I am missing my yellow tail sashimi. Poor service and quality control of take out orders.“
“Having lived in Tokyo this place is legit! Sakura pancakes were fluffy and light, not too sweet. We added karaage to the egg curry and it was delicious. The beef curry onigiri was scrumptious and the warabi mochi latte was so unique and yummy. Certainly worth the drive from DC and will be back soon!!!“

And some od the k-pop songs don't sound very appropriate for children... Also, it's cold since it's in a grocery store.I ordered K12 bibimbap. The dish is good and the pot is really hot, which sears the rice to perfection. The yellow picked radish is not as good as some made by a restaurant, but the price is also lower here so I didn't expect it to be amazing. The main dish is good though, nothing to complain.“
“Stopped by on a late Sunday afternoon and there were not many customers inside the food hall (usually the Food Block like this in Annandale is packed). It was nice to have time to look at all the food places and the menus. We decided on Japomen and ordered the Bulgogi bowl and the Tonkatsu ramen. It was delicious and was prepared pretty quickly even though they were probably over the lunch rush and resting before the dinner rush. I wish I had more room to try all their onigiris but that will have to wait until next time. Parking was very easy in the parking lot (free), and plenty of seating inside which was clean. I can't wait to come back and try more off their menu.“

“Came on Friday during lunch time. We were a party of 5 but seated right away. The AYCE is not buffet style in that you go pick your food; you order from the waiter and they bring it out. It can take a while for a waiter to return so make sure to put in a full order while they're there. There is a fee for any food leftover so don't go crazy but be aware of the timing. For kids 3 and under the AYCE is free and they love the little ice cream containers for dessert. As for the food I recommend the hibachi and rice and edamame with most of their specialty rolls. All the sushi was good but the one with mango and sweet potato was a favorite and the fried specialty roll too. Would return.“

It was warm and crunchy but I think that’s intended since it’s fried but I loved it especially with the pickled ginger.
