“My fiance, my mom and I had a mobile order yesterday at this location. The young lady who brought our food to us had excellent customer service skills. Even asked if there was anything else we needed. I didn’t get her name but she deserves a raise.“
“An amazing leader once said “excellence doesn’t happen by accident“ in this picture you will see an early morning Starbucks huddle I happen to be out and about and not at my local Starbucks, but found my amazing manager (Anthony) with the Colonial Heights manager in an early morning huddle with the district director who is totally amazing and was very instrumental in recognizing my local store in Hopewell and it’s Veterans. My sincere hope is corporate headquarters will find this post and perhaps give the managers and district director kudos and maybe even some type of raise.“

“Always come here during the evening and Saturdays. Staff always pleasant. This last Saturday there was an older African American lady there when I walked in maybe a supervisor, but she was very rude to her staff as customer were standing in store. She degraded one young man and he just looked very sad. She kept talking down to him the entire time i was waiting on my order. Do better!“

“I do not often eat out at fast food places, but this McDonalds is my very favorite when I choose to indulge! The service is top notch; all the employees are so friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious. You can tell the employees really care about their jobs and they make you feel like family from the moment you walk in the restaurant.“

“This particular McDonalds is slow. I ordered online, and they told me my order was ready. I went inside to pickup, and it still wasn't ready. I had to wait about 7 more minutes. I got my kids' food, and their fries were cold. If I'm gone, wait that long, at least give me hot, fresh fries.“

“10/10 recommend if you are in the area. Veteran owned shop with great flavored coffee, baked goods and snacks. Try the peanutbutter affogato and southern style chicken salad on a jalapeño bagel; thank me later.
*UPDATE* 9/4/25 Went in for a quick breakfast and asked for my usual coffee order but wasn't given my usual. What changed? In the past, they run down the whole spiel as to what you want in your drink, type of milk, sugar, whip, no whip... not this time. Not even a warm greeting at the counter. When I asked for clarification as to what I had been given, I pointed out that they are usually more diligent, asking folks what they want. The guy who took my order apologized for not having asked me all the questions they usually do. When I asked to have the drink remade, they said they would need to charge me again. When I asked for a refund instead, they said I ordered the drink wrong and they wouldn't give me a refund. So if you go in, dont expect the same warm greetings the old owner gave and be diligent with your order or be prepared for poor customer service.“

“A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers! Everyone greets you with a friendly face and genuine conversations. Pastries are to die for, Homer Simpson doughnut is delicious! I love the ambiance of the store and the fresh brew coffee smells so comforting and inviting! The drip brew coffee tastes great. My personal favorite is the Bloody Valentine! It has white chocolate, cherry and red velvet flavors, it's so sweet creamy delicious and pairs with the bold espresso wonderfully! “This team is amazing! I came in yesterday to do my homework and felt so at home! They brought me my food and drink to my table! Justice made my drink perfectly like he always does and Riot was always so nice to talk to, asking about my dad and my cat! It’s so nice that they take the time to know and remember their customers, it makes me feel so comfortable! I’ll be back!“
