“We recently tried Dosa Grill for the first time and our experience was very good. We tried dosa platter, raga onion masala, idli vada combo and mysore masala and the rates are genuine. I also tried schezwan chicken (spicy) and is really good.“

But, this restaurant is a hidden gem! At the first look at the menu, it appears that items have been given fancy names to fetch higher prices. But when you eat the food, you will find that it is a class apart!You get a dining experience. The staff is courteous, and friendly. The tables are far apart enough to give you privacy.They have a good selection of non-veg items (but I am a vegatarian). Among vegetarian items, you don't find the usual permutations of limited items - the dishes are unique! The dishes are served just at the right temparature. The gravey is so well made that it tastes homegenous- you can't tell spices separately. The serving size is enough for one person. We tried a couple of paneer dishes - they use homemade paneer, and it just melts in the mouth!Just like other places where it is hard to find entrees without onion-garlic, the chef made Paneer butter-masala for me. Because this is what I usually get wherever I go, I can say that it was the best I have eaten anywhere!The food is worth every dollar you spend. I think they will become the best restaurant in the subarban DC.Vegetarian options: There are a few Panner items, dal fry but not usual permuatations of paneer, gobi, matar, and aloo! Very well made and served.“

They also do catering events where we had Chicken Keema Biryani, Goat dum biryani, and chicken lollipops. For vegetarians, they even had Jackfruit Biryani, Paneer Biryani. The warmth and hospitality of the owner and his personal engagement with guests reflects a commitment to excellence that is truly commendable. “Vinod made our first visit pretty exceptional. He recommended dishes based on our preferences & we absolutely loved our food.Only con, it would be nice to see the front having some additional help. The tables weren’t clean & I only saw one guy bringing out the food, taking orders & running back to the kitchen to help out!“

“We went for a date here after my husband was looking for something close to Chantilly but different. Oh wow! The food was so fresh and hot and phenomenal! We love Indian food so tried the butter chicken tacos and masala burrito. The chips and salsa kept coming as quickly as we asked. I can not wait to return!“

“Bollywood themed Indian snacking place on Elden street. You will find plenty of parking outside and the place is also friendly for wheelchair or stroller entrance. The staff is very friendly and they serve you with smile. They are kids friendly too. They have self service where they call your bill token number and you have to collect your food from counter. The whole place has a 90s Bollywood theme. Every table top is laminated with 90s Bollywood movie posters. You will find more of the North Indian snacks here. We tried masala chai which was tasty full of cardamom taste with bread pakoda. The bread pakoda looked like they have refried it but it tasted as exactly as Indian food stalls sell. We also tried their dabheli but can feel it was so so not that tasty. It only has masala potatoes in it no crunch. The chutney’s server was also so watery. So would not suggest to try their dabheli but you can try other things. There chole bhature looks amazing so probably we will try it next time. They have small juice center too inside. You can get fresh fruit juices here and tasty tasty falooda also and if you are bored go try their game room. Check it out soon“

“Both the service and cuisine were very delicious. This is a small family run business seems very far to table very homemade style authentic dishes that are meant to make you feel at home I would highly recommend what’s 12 out of 10 is the caramel ice cream even if you’re not a big dessert person you must try it’s made in house. It is AMAZING. I simply would just go back for the dessert and the service.“

“LUNCH BUFFET IS WEEKENDS ONLY Went here for lunch on a weekday. They served me a water bottle instead of a glass with ice, which I found odd. Unsure if that's their normal method or if there's a problem with the water supply. I ordered chana masala and an order of garlic naan. Hot, fresh, and fluffy. Was hoping for a strong garlic flavor but it was very faint. The naan itself was excellent, but the garlic portion was not. The chana masala portion was very generous. I ended up having a snack's worth of leftovers. Flavor wise it was ok, nothing special. There were some herbs that I didn't quite like the taste of, as they sort of clashed with the rest of the ingredients. Overall, I had a decent lunch here. Can't really recommend but also can't knock the place. My return depends on how good the other Indian restaurants in the area are.“

“This place has the best north Indian food in Sterling. The garlic naan and malai kofta are amazing and they always customize the spice levels perfectly. The white rice is always very fragrant and cooked to perfection. The mango lassi here is one of the best I’ve tried and the indo chinese is also great. The prices are very reasonable. Be sure to try this place if you love good Indian food.“

“What a treat! And a delightful atmosphere. We decided to forego the brunch menu and ordered a la carte. Every entree was full of delicious spices. For Sunday lunch we ordered:Palak Paneer - creamed spinach with garlic and chunks of paneer cheese, Murg Makhni (butter chicken), Malwani Pulav - rice with coconut spices and mixed veggies and garlic naan. Every dish had just a hint of spiciness but one can also dial up on the heat. We loved the food and the gracious service.“

“A good place to have some Malaysian food in Centreville, Virginia. The service was good and the food was great. No regrets on either point.Of course like any other Malaysian restaurant, we had to order Roti Canai from the appetizer menu and it was amazing. My son just loved the hot, fresh, flaky roti that he asked to order more. We also ordered Chicken Satay which was nice, juicy and flavorful.For the main course, we ordered Malaysian style fried rice which is a combination of chicken, shrimp and tofu as well and comes with pan fried egg on top. Definitely worth it. We also ordered Beef Rendang and Nyonya curry fish fillet. Fish was good but the curry was a little on the saltier and sour side. Believe it might have been tamarind or something similar to give that sour taste. Beef Rendang definitely was on the top with Roti Canai. Tender pieces of beef in a spicy curry. A must try.The prices were reasonable not extravagant like we see nowadays and the quantity was good for the price.Anyone looking for a Malaysian restaurant which is not too fancy, not expensive but has good service and good food, check this one out.Parking: Plenty of parking in the shopping plaza.Kid-friendliness: There were families with the kids and the kids seem to be enjoying their time.My kids are a little older but they enjoyed the food especially Roti Canai.“

“Inside of the Indian Bazar, the staff is really nice, they gently introduce you thousands of choices on the menu, I like to order Boneless Chicken and Goat Biryani. You can seat on the dining area to eat, and here’s also have other Indian food and desserts that you can buy. One thing need to remember is they do not open on Monday.“

“We ate the Rajasthani Thali (on Friday) and it was amazing. The daal baati was one of the best I've eaten in my life (including in India). The gatta subzi and rasmalai were also really good. “I used to come to this restaurant more often, so it has been here for what feels like decades! Like most Indian restaurants these days, they only have buffet on the the weekend. Service was exceptional and the restaurant was very clean.We ordered the lunch specials, one butter masala and one butter chicken. Both came with naan and a side to choose from (lentils or chick peas). The naan was so perfectly cooked, I couldn't stop eating it alone. The actual curries were small portions, but being that we had the sides, it was sufficient. I would love to return for the buffet one day when I am back in the area.“

“My family ate here today and the food and service were wonderful. We had several of the grilled entree combos, keema naan, and a paratha roll. The tortilla the roll was on was a perfect consistency and buttery taste. While my kids did not care for the keema naan, I absolutely loved it. “I don't know what people expect when they go to a casual snacks place like this. My 4 star is based on two things, one is very very good customer service and really nice and helpful folks. And the second thing is their snacks, I really like their Indian snacks items. Specially chicken puff and onion samosa, and their chai, I could literally have them every evening as snacks. “This place is amazing indeed. My son had a Tapsilog (Tapa, Sinangag(garlic fried rice) and Itlog (egg), a well known Filipino breakfast, also Lumpia. I had Kare Kare (Peanut sauce stewed oxtail. “Good Indian restaurant to have desi food. We went for lunch and tried their onion samosas for appetizer which were served raw with no chutney. Then we asked for some chutney on the side and it was very tasty. I liked the filling. For main course we had paneer biryani. We like spicy so we asked them to make it very spicy. Still it turned out to be less spicy for us. So from that i can suggest everyone who love Indian food but hesitates to eat due to spices so they all can try food there. It is actually nice and subtle flavorful. For drinks we ordered lime soda and asked them to make it sweet and salty and it was really very nice. I loved their mango lassi it wasn’t too sweet and felt like so natural as it was not made from concentrate. The best part of this place was that every thing was so reasonable. Worth the money. The quantity and quality was great. The staff were kind and gentle. The ambience is really nice and fresh. They serve vegetarian and non vegetarian options. “We loved our experience. Came for dinner with my husband and ordered several dishes. The chicken platter appetizer came out sizzling and delicious. We also enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian (sweet and spicy cauliflower appetizer). The Natu Kodi and Shrimp Curry entrees were both spicy oily and tomato-based with the perfect amount of seasoning… very rich in flavor. Enjoyed both of those dishes. My favorite entree was the paneer butter masala. Amazing sauce - similar to butter chicken sauce. I was eating the sauce with everything!! Also had an amazing Chicken Dum Biryani where the chicken was on the bottom of the rice. The garlic naan was phenomenal. Got to meet their Chef Krishna who was super nice and explained some of the dishes to us. We were pleased with our meal and will be back to try out their buffet next!“

“This is a fantastic restaurant. It’s sort of a hole in the wall, but the kind of hole in the wall that Anthony Bourdain would’ve visited if he were still alive. The food is great and authentic. People in the review section will say that the seating is too crowded and it’s dirty, but it’s precisely these things that make me feel like I’m in India again (I’m an American who lived in Delhi as a kid). This is the closest I feel to being in India outside of Jackson Heights. This restaurant also catered my wedding and everyone loved it.“

We especially recommend the manchurian soup and the thali.Minor criticism: Be aware that some mocktails come covered in salt. The second time around I asked them to remove the salt and the drink still tasted like seawater.All in all fantastic food, service, and dining experience.
