“THIS IS THE BEST HIBACHI PLACE IN THE ENTIRE WOODBRIDGE. WOW, I have never had fresh fried whiting so good in a longggg longggg time. Their food is amazing. Their cashier, EuEu, I believe is her name, has the best customer service skills I have seen in decades. She is warm in approach, kind hearted, and very friendly. This restaurant needs to stay in woodbridge for years because I’m a native and have not come across such customer service like this years for hibachi food. I came yesterday and came back again today. The taste of the flavors kept calling my name.

“Wow! This place was really good. We typically don't like chain restaurants. However, this Bahama Breeze surprised us. The Honey Butter Crispy Sandwich had a simple presentation but was full of flavor. Hubby paired it with a tasty bowl of Black beans and Rice. My Island Snapper was perfectly delicious-- colorfully put together with fresh mangoes, red onions and avocado, plus a generous portion of well seasoned snapper over a bed of white rice surrounded by a decadent lime sauce. For dessert, we shared the Flaming Pineapple Butter Cake. Again, just wow! The table side rum flambe was a great ending to our lunch. We enjoyed our Island Snapper so much that we ordered 2 more to take home for our dinner from our great server Logan.“

“Periodically we travel from the Richmond area to meet up with our son and wife from Maryland. Woodbridge is a good area for us meet with lots of good restaurants! Firebirds is a favorite with all of us--so now we skip the other restaurants. Firebird's food is always good with plenty of good choices! I love the shrimp and grits and BLT salad with grilled salmon. Other favorites include the hamburgers, steaks, and chicken. Generally we have good service, but yesterday Carlos provided exceptional service. He was friendly in a professional way, checking in at just the right moments, ensuring everything was perfect without being obtrusive.“

“In a shopping center so we didn't have any issues with parking.

I feel like this place was more so a take out place than a sit down place. You order up front and then sit wherever. There wasn't any water, silverware, napkins, or self service area. We ordered everything at the counter and they bring it out to you. We did have to ask for appetizer plates but they have single baskets that have some napkins, a soup spoon, a fork and wooden chopsticks. If we asked for another fork, we just got handed another basket. So while the overall experience was a little counterintuitive in my opinion, we did enjoy the food.

They have sodas and bottled water and tea options. We ordered a summer Roll (#2) , the egg rolls (#1) and the crispy shrimp rolls (#5). For our entrees ordered the Special Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (#95), Shaken Marinated Stir Fry (#50), and the Shaking Beef Bahn Mi (at a menu on the counter).

We loved everything we got, it was all very good. I really enjoyed the Bahn Mi. I definitely want to come back!“

“For the most part I like the food here and service is good, but be careful if you go towards the end of the day. I've had a couple times where they didn't change the oil when it was needed, and the food tasted and smelled pretty bad. Other than that, I would reccomend. Their sides are pretty good also.“

“Excellent evening at the Woodbridge, VA NYAJs yesterday! We were greeted by the manager Usy( I’m not good at names) who was working on clearing tables. We had a couple minute wait for our outside table. There were 3 of us and we ordered drinks and appetizers to share. Desi was our server. She was attentive and cheerful (not annoyingly so). The Bang Bang Shrimp, Potstickers and my favorite Ahi Tuna Wontons were wonderful! Cocktails as well! We all had been regulars up to about 18 months ago as the service was atrocious. So glad NYAJ is back. This is my 2nd visit in a month. Will be back soon. Kudos to the new manager and staff. Keep it up!“

It's all carry out, but their ordering online is great, as it has some good built in options. As well it's pretty spot on when it comes to timing.“

“Clean when you walk in. Very helpful customer service. Music is played while you wait for your food. Target is next door and also Five Guys. There is enough spaces for parking your vehicle. You can eat outside or inside. There is about 6 tables inside and one outside. Great view at night if you want to eat here at night. Calm area, and traffic. Their soda machine was down at the time but they have bottle soda. TV here to watch when you wait also. They messed my order up but remade it and I was thankful. I'll give this place a 8.8/10“

“My go-to dishes are:

- Singapore Noodles (shrimp only). They add beef and chicken which I don't care for. It can be dry so I often add a little oil and water when reheating.

- Salt & Pepper chicken is really tasty. Some chicken pieces were a bit dry and stringy bit it tastes great.

- Pork, Shrimp egg rolls are really good.

- Fried shrimp, chicken wings super tasty. Wings skin can sometimes be rubbery.

General Tsos is a no go. The sauce was too congealed and didn't taste good.

They offer a lot but not all is good just like most Chinese places you find what they do that you like and you're good to go.

Delivery is always smooth and drivers are cool. Went in a couple of times and service there was fine as well.“
