“I know for the same price I can get my own pint of Haagen Dazs. But it’s one of the few treats I really let myself indulge in. I come here after a big accomplishment at work or need a pick-me-up. I get the chocolate cone with sprinkled peanuts and two scoops of coffee ice-cream - and it’s the best. Nothing hits the spot quite like it. Staff are super friendly. From time to time I may try another flavor. The coffee chip is good too. But I usually revert back. Moments of happiness seem priceless.“

“The gelato I had was absolutely delicious! While it wasn't as creamy as Pitango's, I really enjoyed the variety of flavors they offered. I ordered a three-flavor cup and chose Black and White Cookie Batter, Dark Chocolate Fudge, and Dulce de Leche Chip. Each flavor was delightful! The restaurant was quite busy, which was a good sign considering its prime location near shopping stores and not far from Chinatown. There was plenty of seating available for customers to sit and savor their treats or coffee. Despite the crowd, the cashiers did an excellent job attending to everyone and even offered samples.“

“My wife and I stopped by here - had last ordered during COVID several years ago - an unhappy experience - who didn’t have challenges back then, when just staying open took hero effort?
We thought it time to check them out and went in. Unusual was what effectively was a hybrid store, serving a southwest Asian flavor influenced pallet of ice cream flavors seen first. For the uninitiated, we happily partook of the offered samples. A second freezer, and with its own board, had a good selection of standard flavors. We liked the flavors we tried, from both freezers, enough so we ordered two hand-packed quarts before we left. Still challenging to keep a business open - especially one that survives on frozen treats, through the winter. They do have a good line of ice cream, certainly on par with Baskin Robins, and they want to have happy customers. We are, and expect to return.“

“Definitely had a bad experience at Rita's. The servers are friendly, and there are a variety of options for gelatis and italian ices, including a root beer float. I like how you get to control the flavor experience you get, and the gelati is well-thought out because you can get the custard on top, and the Italian ice on the top, getting an even experience to try the custards and Italian ices. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone in the Fairfax area.“

“The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant in a home built in 1843 was charming, the service was good we enjoyed our waitress. Our dinner was delicious we all enjoyed our Rockfish! We celebrated a birthday, the delightful chocolate cake was delicious , served with Champagne. We'll be back for the next celebration!“

“Baskin-Robbins was great. We've been here a few times before. Last night was a great experience. The two people working were very friendly and helpful. The ice cream was amazing! I had a Brownie Sundae that was one of the best, if not the best I've ever had. We sat in the car to eat because it is still too cold outside, but there were clean tables inside and out. Parking: Parking was easy. There are a dozen or more spaces. We had no problems and have been here when it was busy without problems too.“

Today was the snow blizzard, and they were the only shop in Mosaic open at 7am (I don'tknow what time they opened), at least that's what I saw. Greeted me with a warm smile.

While many people were snuggling at home, these amazing people were there even though the roads were very bad and beautiful snow everywhere.

And, it seemed that they weren't angry or even bothered for being at work during such bad weather. They were at work providing a warm smile with a delicious hot coffee and treating me as if I was a long-time friend!

One of the employees told me she had been out enjoying the snow and then went to work. I am so proud to meet people like her. She knows how to enjoy life while maintaining her high work ethics. PURELY AMAZING!
