“This is a good place for quick Asian takeout food and they are excellent in supplying & cooking food if there is hardly any left. I got a quart of spicy orange chicken entree- a la carte - $11-12 . It is enough for 4-5 meals when I add vegetables and rice to it from my home. I like how they have lean and low calorie entree & side items to eat. Delicious and filling food. I would probably pick up food early before traffic and the line gets long. They don’t accept the Panda Express app in this location unfortunately, so cash in your rewards or get points at other locations.“

“This is another Peter Chang location - so if you are familiar with the DC dining scene, you can already guess: this place is fantastic. The decor makes it look a little fast casual, but the food is phenomenal. Possible the best mala (numbing spice) I have ever had.

“I almost didn’t walk into Hunan Taste. When I saw pho on the menu, I hesitated. I know pho. I’ve had it done right, and when a Chinese place throws it on the menu, it usually means they’re trying to be everything to everyone.

But I’m glad I went in.

I ordered what I always judge a place by — roast pork and lo mein. If you can’t get that right, nothing else matters. The roast pork was legit. Flavorful, not dried out, not that bland filler meat some of these pop-up spots use. Mix it with the lo mein? That’s a winning combination every time.

Then came the egg roll. Not a spring roll. A real egg roll. Thick wrapper, crispy, hearty filling.

But what sealed it for me was the mustard. Homemade Chinese mustard — the real deal, the kind that clears your sinuses and lets you know someone back there cares.

If you’re in Springfield and you want solid Chinese food, this is a good spot. I’ll be back.“

Not only are the deals and service amazing but the quality and taste of the food is phenomenal not to mention the quantity of the food is just mind blowing. “Great meal - especially for those all day dim sum dumpings. Food is great - service sadly not so much but still worth it! Staff is really rude til they give you the bill which is extremely reasonable, they squish you into tables with bars that hit your shins too, tables of 6-10 be mindful of that! Otherwise excellent food just waited awhile for service and again they were ride literally hit my head with plates or elbows from behind without warning. Still love it.lol we all laughed sooo hard when 5 of my boys ordered a drink (soda/lemonade) which came

“I get Hunan Chicken (sometimes Hunan Beef) I really enjoy it. I can't have onions and they have always been able to make sure to leave them out for me. I generally just take it to go so I can't say what the dining in experience is like but I havent had an order messed up or missing from them and it has always been hot and delicious. I typically get the Crab Rangoon also and those are pretty good.“

“You can tell by the ambiance that you've stepped into a place that had served famous people. There is an old time classic Chinese restaurant vibe here.
The ambiance is gorgeous, the decor is history, with pictures of patrons from wall to wall.

The servers and staff are professionally dressed, I felt underdressed

Walked into the place around 2:50pm, as i read through the menu, and decide on the lunch special, the waiter says, sorry but it's after 3pm (3:02pm) no more lunch special. Bummed, as now the prices from lunch to dinner are a 3-4 dollar amount difference, portion might be larger, but for one person, I didn't need more of just one dish, I wanted variety.

Everything was just basic, and the fried calamari's funnel cake like batter was quite sweet and greasy for me.

The wonton soup had a thick wrapper, well stuffed, not bad

Fried Rice was delicious, loaded with meat and shrimp, worth the value

Will go back to try the famous Duck when I have enough people to share it with, as it is at least $100 for the table service.“

My least favorite was the crispy wonton it was more fried dough then meat. The beef chow fun is delicious. Good sized noodles with enough veggies and beef. Szechuan beef was good but wasn't exactly spicy.

All of the items were reasonably priced. If you want something easy and quick, definitely check it out.“
