“This hidden gem is perfect for a cozy date night or a quick lunch bite. I have always seen the vintage cars outside on Saturdays, but n we ver explored the setting. The owners (small family-owned) are friendly and attentive to customers. I've visited several times and I've recommended this spot to my friends. Everything that I've ordered from the menu has met or exceeded my expectations. They offer adult activities in the evenings like dace lessons, open mic, etc. I mist add this to my event calendar. To quote an old commercial, " Try it, you'll like it".“

“This place is a whole vibe! From the food to the decor to the music to the staff! I finally found a place that sells a good reuben sandwich! Food is served hot & fresh w/a smile! They have a well rounded menu w/vegetarian options. Great cocktail menu w/some signature drinks as well as the old favorites! Big tea selection as well. “My husband, son and I enjoyed our supper at Metro this evening. We had an excellent waitress -- answered questions, pleasant exchange about the menu, anticipated time for drink refills and brought our tab without the long wait after finishing. Our only complaint was the loud music -- hard for us to converse since my husband and I are both hearing impaired.“
“A hidden gem - get the membership! Single ticket price is steep, but the membership is a great deal! You’ll find a new magical corner every time you visit. The natural trails throughout, the incredibly kind staff, the educational resources, the curated blossoms throughout the year, and the kid play areas are just some of the reasons this is my family’s favorite place. Had our kid’s birthday party here at the WOW Children’s Garden and was stunned by the kindness and helpfulness of staff Jessica and Susan. Great facility, great people!“

“I can't recommend this place enough but I don't want it to get too popular and locals loose such a polished gem of a restaurant.
They cooked my blackened tuna filet perfectly. Do you know how difficult it is to get a perfect blacken sear while keeping the internal flesh a perfect medium rare?!
Kid-friendliness: Just make sure they mind the stairs
Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely would call ahead and see what can be done.“

“We were in town for the night and a friend told us a out this place. OH MY I am so glad we went. Its a plate of big flavor. My husband had the chicken I had the filet..We talked to the chef after, very impressed and alot of experience under his belt. Wow is all I can say. We wish this place the best of luck“

“We have been going to Virginia Beach for a few years now, but never came across May's Parlor, and I'm so sad it took so long! We went three times during the week because we loved it so much. Such a cute and welcoming place and the food was amazing! Their ham and cheese breakfast sandwich was the best I've ever had. We highly recommend. Very kid friendly, too!“

“Wow, this place is amazing!! The achetectual detail is awesome. The restaurant is so pretty. Great indoor space main floor and second floor. Small outdoor space, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Esteban was great. Explained the menu during happy hour, which was 4pm-6pm. The food is amazing! The drinks are very tasty. Very nice wine list. Will definitely be back.“

“This little place has a very diverse menu. The food is very good. The peach bubble tea is nothing short of amazing! The dining room is adequate and clean. However, the decor is very basic. I had the Gen Tsoas Chicken with white rice. It was delicious. We waited a very long time for our food, but it was hot and delicious. Our server was not necessarily in a very good mood. Point given back because it was around 7 p.m. when we sat down. One of our dinner companions grew up in Hawaii. She gives the cuisine a thumbs up as authentic. She especially loves the macaroni salad.“

“I loved this place! I’ve been to 2+ cat cafes and this is by far my fav. Very clean, cats were well kept, good ventilation, and the cafe adjacent to the lounge is very cute. Got a Matcha latte and it was awesome. 10/10 recommend, will be coming back.“

“I will say I was disappointed that you had to order from a menu. I wanted to be able to try different types of your rolls without having to order off a menu. Also my sushi fell apart as did the rolls. That was disappointing. As for the taste it tasted fresh and good.“

“We accidentally spilled our entire coffee all over our car driving away. I went back in to get a new drink which I was prepared to pay for. I enjoyed my Fish Sandwich (fried Cod) & tasty perfectly cooked fries. House salads were fresh & the croutons must be housemade, they were delicious. But the STAR of the table: THOSE BUTTERY DELICIOUS OLD BAY WINGS!!! WOW! Some of the best!!“
