The young man and woman's positive attitude made the visit memorable. “Wow. This place gets 5 YUMS from us! Looks like we missed National Sandwich Day, but we finally got the chance to try out McAlister’s and it did not disappoint! It did take a little while to decide what to get because their menu is so (beautifully) varied! I ended up getting the 1/2 salad (Pecanberry) and 1/2 sandwich (Harvest Chicken Salad). The price was very good, especially as I was so surprised at the portion given of both! -My sandwich was served on a croissant… a WHOLE croissant! The croissant was toasted just right, making it slightly crispy but not burnt. The salad and the dressing served with the salad were fabulous, as well. Until this meal, I had 2 favorite places to get green salads and one favorite place to get Chicken Salad. Now I have ONE favorite place to get both: McAlister’s. No joke. Plus, customer service there rocks! My husband and I are looking very forward to our next visit and asked for a take-out menu so it doesn’t take us so long to order next time! 😆“

“Had an overall good experience! Matthew (trainee) helped me out and did an amazing job! They made my sandwich just perfect! The only downside was that one of the older male workers was a bit rude. I felt rushed by him and he had a short fuse with a customer behind me. There were some miscommunications that may be due to a bit of an accent barrier and he got defensive with the customer quite quickly. Still yummy and a good experience though!“

“This is my favorite Subway, I drive past the Poquoson Subway to come here. Every 2 weeks or so I receive great paper Subway coupons; THIS SUBWAY ACCEPTS COUPONS. The Subway in Poquoson does not accept coupons or offers. Everything is fresh and the staff is superb.“

“Stopped in for my first visit to this location on July 23rd around 1:30pm. My husband and I don’t get Subway often because across 4 different states we’ve lived, the ingredients never look fresh and the stores always look dirty, but my husband is collecting the Happy Gilmore cups so I stopped in to see what I could get here. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in to an extremely clean store, and an amazing young man working the counter. He was so nice and friendly, even asked if I wanted my sauce light or heavy on the meatball sub which is something I’ve never been asked at any location. The ingredients were so fresh as well! It was like I stepped back in time, I have not seen a subway this clean with this fresh of ingredients in maybe 15 years. I will definitely be stopping by this location again! I wish I had gotten the young man’s name but he deserves a raise!“

“If I got to get something quick fast in a hurry, let me tell you this is the spot you go over here to the subway. I guarantee you'll stay in front of the person and everybody. What do you want and ... you'll say (ah ah let me get ah ya na ya ok ) And at the end of that they will have your perfect sub made exactly the way you were thinking you wanted it, how you wanted it and you were standing in front of the register and they'll let you know. It's like $6 and some change or $7 and some change unless you got some chips and a drink or something like that. Either way how they are able to do such an amazing thing I don't know and how it's just so instantly fast. I was standing there and then had food in my hand and realize I had to turn around. Even when it gets busy (and it will around lunch), they handle it like pros. Ain’t no chaos, ain’t no drama—just sandwiches gettin’ built and lives bein’ saved one footlong at a time.

The bread? Fresh. The veggies? Crispy. The cookies? Dangerous. Like, “I just came in for lunch, now I’m smuggling a chocolate chip problem back to work” kinda dangerous.

“Made a mobile order for one sub to go. It located in the front building at the Todd Shopping Center. Arrived after 10 minutes, and the order was ready. The Footlong Steak and Cheese in the Hearty Multigrain bread was Toasted filled with Monterey Cheddar, Green Peppers, Red Onions, Lettuce, Spinach, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Black Olives, Black Pepper, and Parmesan Cheese.“

“I visit this subway location regularly, and my experiences vary. There is one older African American woman who stands out for her kindness and genuine care for customers. However, the assistant manager and the owner tend to be less welcoming. On several occasions, I have placed orders through the app only to arrive and find that my order is missing, which can be quite frustrating, especially during a lunch break when time is limited“

“Normally, I have nothing but glowing things to say about my experience at Jimmy John's. However, today was more freaky and less fast. The sandwich makers were moving very slowly and got the order wrong for a gentleman ahead of us. The young lady who took our order seemed very thrown off by that and reconfirmed our order twice. Once we received our food, it was very good, as usual. My only complaint would be that there is no need to put shredded lettuce inside an unwich.“
