“Stumbled upon Whistle Stop Grill and the Stoney Creek Freedom Fest this weekend. We had their Maple bacon burger and it was so good we had to get a second one the next day for lunch. I definitely recommend trying.“
“Natural winery with a lot of approachable options. You walk in and it feels like you’ve just walked into your best mate’s home. Roshi, (manager) provided such a warm space, paired with a wealth of knowledge about the wines they offer. My friends and I gave her a rundown of the wines we typically like to drink and she curated a dealer’s choice flight that matched us each perfectly. We frequent Charlottesville area wineries often and will 100% be adding this place to our rotation and spreading the word about commonwealth crush!“
“What an epic visit. Had a wonderful afternoon- great beer, fantastic owners, fab food, and our dog was welcome everywhere- inside and out. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to come back!“
“Wonderful wine, quiet and beautiful location. My husband and I enjoyed our picnic lunch on their patio with our sweet dog by our side. We even bought a couple bottles to go. There was an issue with the order but they went above and beyond to correct it quickly. We definitely plan to return!“

“FLAT OUT = 6 STAR Restaurant !!
Oh sure it's easy to say that the front of the house staff Kills It Every Night - cause they do. But it's the KITCHEN that Crushingly makes so easy to say I'll be Back!
This night we had 4 dishes and each one was better than the last.
Finish everything up with a tasty mango sticky rice dessert.
Really, terrific and thank you. Great palate cleanser in-between days of turkey and stuffing.
Reservations are highly recommend.“
“We spent our weekend exploring different vineyards and wineries, and this was our absolute favorite! Tucked back off the main road, so an intimate and relaxed feel! Great views and amazing wines!! Jessa helped us with a tasting and was so knowledgeable and friendly, it was like being with an old friend!! Cannot recommend them enough!“
“We had such a great time at this winery! The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, and the views were absolutely gorgeous—one of those places where you just sit back and soak it all in. The fire pits were such a perfect touch too, making it cozy and inviting, especially as the sun started to go down.
The staff was friendly, the wine was delicious, and the whole experience felt effortless in the best way. It’s the kind of spot you want to stay at for hours. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

“This past Wednesday, I brought my assistant to Waynesboro to help me with shopping, and that we would see if Stella, Bella & Lucy’s had availability for Lunch, which they did.\n\nInside, a number of empty seats, I asked if they had availability for two for lunch, which they did. The Restaurant is well lit inside, easy to walk to seating, with plenty of room between tables & chairs. Absolutely Lovely Decor inside, brought back many lovely memories growing up.\n\nOur Waitstaff person, Mandy took our beverage order right away, I was hoping for cup of hot Black tea, possibly P & G? I settled on their unsweetened Ice Tea with lemon slices, I had my Stevia with me.\n\nMandy informed us of the specials, we both decided on the Cup of Creamy Tomato Basil Soup and Quiche Lorraine. Incredibly quick service, I did note the Restaurant quickly filling up with Patrons.\n\nThe food… The Soup was lovely, I would have been content with a bowl of the Creamy Tomato Basil and a bit of fruit, the Quiche onions were a bit of an issue for me, I enjoyed it though.\n\nI observed the Desserts being served, they were gorgeous, My Guest ordered the Bread Pudding, I ordered the Chocolate Ganache Cupcake, a teeny taste let me know how incredibly Rich this was, and I packaged it up for my assistant to take home.\n\nI asked for the Manager, and in a moment C.C. arrived at our table, I introduced myself, and let her know how delighted I was to visit Stella, Bella & Lucy’s for lunch, ( I usually visit Waynesboro heading to SNP).\n\nIf You want a great dining experience, with a Lovely Ambiance, I suggest you make a reservation and head to Stella, Bella and Lucy’s.\n\nKesh_grammy“
“LOVE Wildmandan Brewery! The craft beers are delicious and there’s always something new to try! Great atmosphere and Terry and Dan are the best hosts!“
“I visited Valley Road Winery with four of my girlfriends, and we had the most fantastic time. The setting is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for sipping wine and sharing laughs. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived.
A special shout-out to Ann, who was so fun and incredibly accommodating—she made our visit extra memorable. We also enjoyed meeting two of the co-owners, Barbara and Stan—it was such a treat to chat with them and learn more about the winery’s story.
Their Cab Franc was my personal favorite—smooth, flavorful, and We’ll definitely be back!“
“Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards is a dream setting for a wedding! The mountain views, vineyard vibes, and beautifully designed spaces create such a romantic and elevated atmosphere. We've had the honor of performing here and are always blown away by how smoothly the events run, thanks to the kind and attentive staff. It's truly a venue that makes every moment feel magical.“
“We came by for an afternoon tasting and it was perfect! The atmosphere, especially in the pavilion, was wonderful and the views of the mountains and vineyard were gorgeous. The wine was great and we left with a few bottles. We brought our pups and the staff were very sweet and gave them treats. And we brought a picnic - I recommend bringing your own food. Their selection is nice but it’s a little small, so if you really want a spread of nosh food, bring your own. Definitely recommend this winery!“
“Great wine and outdoor seating! They’re very dog friendly, but I wished they enforced the on leash rule a bit more. We had our dogs on leash and two dogs off leash ran off to greet us. One of our dogs doesn’t react well when off leash pups run up to them. And we had to physically pull the new pup off ours, and the dog owners weren’t even near by. I think they were the owners dogs or the owner knew them well. They were very sweet, but I wish the rules were either enforced for everyone or there was an off leash area.
But again, the wine was good, the staff was very friendly, and the environment was nice to sit outside. Recommend!“
“We got here a bit early. We were on vacation. The bartender was super helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the 5 beer flight and ordered a few. I liked the sours, my wife likes the Hef. Couldn't have asked for better service. Locals were friendly and we had an enjoyable time! Thanks for everything.“
“We had an amazing experience when we visited Flying Fox. Tralyn was so informative and pleasant. We spent about 2 hours with her and left with 6 bottles of wine. We can't wait to return. We Left there and moved on to Veritas Vineyard for lunch. (Sister winery)!!😋☺️😁“
“This is a must visit winery in the Charlottesville area. It is one of the most beautiful vineyards I have been to. They have a great selection of wine and the staff was very friendly!“

“DO NOT miss the Smoked Kitchen. During a recent "leaf peeping" drive from Richmond, we visited Crozet in time for lunch. First, the location is easy to find and easy to park. Second, they welcome dogs. (A real plus.) But MOST IMPORTANTLY the the food is top notch and the service can't be beat. The pulled pork is the best we've EVER eaten. (I don't use CAPS very often.) Speaking as Virginia/North Carolina customers, that's quite a statement. It's dry, lean and melt in your mouth. Plenty of sauces to choose from if you wish. Absolutely terrific. We bought A POUND to take home. No kidding. The smoked chicken salad sandwich was excellent. And the beer - well, what a nice addition to a great meal.“

“We have enjoyed restoration for more than eight years. Their menu, service, and prices have never been better.\n\nWe recently had a family brunch, and it was delightful. The menu is very well crafted. The prices are excellent. And the service has always been great. \n\nSitting on their patio on a warm fall Sunday morning, made it a fun memorable experience .“
“Best brewery in the lower Shenandoah Valley. There are several other good ones, and I can think of elements of the experience that are superior elsewhere. But the BEER is best here. And that's why you go to a brewery.
Food is good as well. They have really upped the music venue space, so you can have excellent beer (or cocktails) and tunes. And their loungey/ gaming space is tight, which means our kids love it here too.“
“The Department of Pediatrics at UVA had an absolutely fantastic experience hosting our department holiday party at Pro Re Nata! The venue was warm and inviting, the setup was seamless, and every detail was thoughtfully executed. Special thanks to Nora, the event coordinator, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her organization, professionalism, and friendly demeanor made the planning process a breeze. From the decor to the accommodations, Nora and the team exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Pro Re Nata for any event—you won’t be disappointed!“
