“This place was such a delightful discovery! The attentive care by the owner and staff made us feel welcomed and at home. And the food was so good! Truly fantastic. We had the grilled tilapia with bantu and okra soup with fufu. We were super grateful for water and bowl at our table to wash our hands before and after the meal, too. We'll definitely be back.“

The 1609 rocks. The only negative I have for this restaurant yes I think they should sell their butter by the quart, it is the best I have ever had . Think about it at 1609

“Outstanding restaurant & bar inside the Embassy Suites. First off, their breakfast offering is beyond reproach. Great entrees & service. The dinners are also fantastic. It's a great feeling to have a restaurant in your hotel where you can have a great meal, a few drinks & zero worries. Their breakfast is from 6 am - 9 am on weekdays & 7 am - 10 am on the weekends. They also offer an evening social hour. If you're a guest of Embassy Suites their room service hours are 11 am to 11 pm, everyday including weekends.“

“We went on Saturday around 6 pm and were able to find parking. Food and service were excellent. Not very busy. However, they are known for more late night business.
Keeping this review here from December 2025 or so: 3 stars
We have been trying to go here with no success. There is never amy parking even after sitting in the parking lot for 15 mins waiting on someone to come out. Surrounding parking areas are blocked off or have towing signs posted. We will keep trying to go, however, since the reviews are good.“

“Great service from an older gentleman. I did not ask for his name and I arrived to the table late. Anyhow the server was helpful and there when my family needed.
The only thing missing was homey for our tea. The restaurant does not have...but maybe one day.“
