“i was so happy to have been able to eat here before they closed for good yesterday (leap day). the owner was so nice, and i could tell that she had built a community based off of the way the other diners were hugging her goodbye on her last day of business. i got the philly cheesesteak on kaiser bread, and it was so good, i took a photo of it before i ate it so that i could try and recreate it at home. it's such a shame that i discovered how good it was on the last day, but i wish the owners all the best & a happy retirement :)“

“Friendly service, we're always greeted as soon as we walk in. My favorites are the Hook and Ladder and the meatball sub (especially since Jersey Mike's stopped carrying meatball subs.)Food is always hot and Delicious and the tables and restrooms are usually clean.“

“I guess I came in on a busy day judging by how many customers were in the store so although I had to wait a few short minutes, the employees still treated me with so much patience which I genuinely appreciated. They apologized for the small wait which was no problem at all and took the time to even suggest new combinations for next time. Overall I loved the welcoming employees and will definitely stop by again. 10/10 sandwich“

“Great location! I had the classic Italian and it was very good. The staff is very good at the job and efficient with production. It’s great to watch them slicing the meat fresh. Their tea is also good. There is plenty of parking and there are tables for those in a wheelchair. This is a good location in the city and is easy to get into.
