“I have been eating at Earl's for 15+ years. Personal favorites are the Pork and Fries, Salmon BLT and Cuban Club, but all of the sandwiches and sides are excellent. New Orleans Turkey Gumbo is an underrated choice for something outside the sandwiches as well. Ingredients and staff are the best and I have never had anything but great food here.“

“This place has really good banh mi at good prices. I think they may have changed their bread recipe recently, because the bread used to be too hard but now it's soft with the right amount of crisp on the crust. Ham Banh Mi is hard to beat.

Vietnamese coffee also really, really good.It's the best option I've found in NoVA for both Banh Mi and Vietnamese coffee.“

“The Sandwich Shop is awesome! I’ve had every sandwich a few times, and some dozens of times. They are all great. And the fries are the best! But if you don’t want fries, get the cheesy bacon tater tots! You can’t go wrong. This is a real gem in Vienna.“

“Hidden in the university mall shopping center is this well decorated restaurant/cafe. The staff is so friendly and the service is so fast. We had the sea salt coffee which is delicious. You must also try any of their banh mi’s. They offer a meal deal as well. Incredibly affordable!“

“The owner goes above and beyond. Upon entering, she took our order and we sat down.
A large group walked in shortly, and she wanted them to be comfortable so she pulled over a table and chairs, and urged that she wanted them to be comfortable.

We ordered the pancake platter, mango tango smoothie, and the Philly cheese steak.

The pancakes were fluffy, eggs cooked to perfection. And the sandwich was nicely composed. Not oily like most Philly sandwiches. The bell peppers in the Philly tasted fresh and the meat was soft and tender. Flavors, overall great.

The place felt like a home, and everything made to order.

“Coming from nyc and discovered this on the go and it was just delicious. Kimchi burrito was incredible (must get) and so was the brie sandwich. Came in a second time and got the pork katsu and was also amazing. The place is nice and clean and the way the burrito was carefully wrapped in a nice foil with the logo was a great touch, like you can tell they care.“

“The good: Omar was great and he was so helpful and nice, he even went over the deals of the day. The other lady not so much, she had bad attitude, and rude come backs when she barely put cheese on the sandwich and then when I asked her which sandwich had jalapeños she asked Omar to open the sandwich because she didn’t remember. Her attitude was terrible! All she had to do was make a mark on the sandwich that was different, that was it. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak, with fries and a coke and a small Chicken buffalo sandwich. I absolutely recommend the Philly it’s a classic can’t go wrong, the fries are crunchy, not soggy or floppy and is decent size 10/10. The chicken buffalo felt like it needed more flavor from the chicken, most was from the sauce it was still delicious and still ate it, 7.8/10. It has a classic workplace deli feel and the staff knows people and their orders by name, which tells you a lot about how good the food is.
