The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “Service was great and beyond exceptional. A place to try for special occasion for seafood. We had the grilled octopus and sardines for appetizers. Both are great options. We had the Connecticut version of lobster roll which came in hot. The catch of the day was a pan seared cod. It was good. The hit was the squid ink risotto. This place is great to celebrate special occasions but not for weekly or even monthly dining. Would be cost prohibitive.“

“My wife and I came here for the first time and were seriously impressed. The service is next level, the staff is incredibly attentive, and even compared to other Korean BBQ spots that cook and cut the meat for you, the attention to detail here is just that extra 5% better.

The quality of the meat is easily the best we’ve had at any Korean BBQ in Northern Virginia. The sides also stood out, especially the crunchy potato (kind of like a hash brown), which we highly recommend. And the sauces are hands down the best we’ve had anywhere.

“You have got to ask for Jay Kim, he is the best server in the house. He was patient and ever so helpful with us as first time hot potters. I had a vegetarian hot pot, well, except for the dumplings. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. “Best sandwich I’ve ever had. I got the turkey and Brie. You can see the cranberry sauce/relish brewing right there in a big stainless steel pot on the stove right behind the cashier. Everything was warm and melty and delicious.
