“My daughter and I adore this place! The owner definitely cares a lot about kitties and was very welcoming and friendly! Also super cool that they foster cats for a short time to help them get adopted. Teas/coffees/cats?! Can't beat that combination! We will definitely be back once the weather cools down a bit and bring more cat lovers with us!“
“Happened upon this place while exploring Harrisonburg. At first parking kind of confused us, but it looks like right now you can park across the street and there’s also a lot maybe a block away that’s easy to get to. Initially we thought we would grab a flight, a snack, then head to dinner. Then we tried the Italian pretzel and had to try even more. I cannot stress how amazing this pretzel was and everyone needs to try it. I’m also kicking myself for not leaving with some “Cream of the Crop” to take home. Everyone was so friendly, Shawn was a great host and even though he was alone made sure everyone had what they needed, prices were great for both beer and food, good selection of beers, small and intimate without feeling cramped. Will definitely be back our next time through.“
“Our group of four had a very late lunch/very early dinner Saturday but despite the hour of 4:00 the tables stayed pretty full throughout our visit. I chose to create my own sandwich and was probably the happiest one in our group- roast beef, Swiss, provolone and mushrooms with a horseradish dip. Sublime! I hope they never stop letting you create your own. The other four chose from the menu and were satisfied but agreed that it looked like I got more meat on mine than they did. Maybe it just looked thicker because of the mushrooms? All of them had crispy outer bread and were served nice and hot. My husband had the limeade and said it was great. The owner checked on us several times and really cares about her business!“
“The atmosphere was great and we felt really welcomed. They have a neat plant section where you can take a plant and leave a plant. I really liked the clothing options they had too, the colors were cool. The cider was good too. Prices were good!“
“Family of 7. Quick service and delicious ice cream and snow cones. Kids loved to sit out back on the patio and take a walk down to the stream/bridge. AMAZING prices!!Kid-friendliness: Even had a small kiddy picnic table for my littlestWheelchair accessibility: Has a wheelchair ramp“
“Amazing little food truck that serves the best Bulgogi! I come to Harrisonburg once a year for meetings and always stop by Kangam Style on my way out of town. Thank you for cooking the best bowls!! The portions are good, the meat is tender, and the egg is perfectly cooked. ??“
“What a treat! Tasty food and a service with a smile. Had the steamed meat parcels, pilau rice, and the spicy carrot salad today- all simply delicious. Comfort food with a twist. If you are vegan/vegetarian, this carrot salad is going to become a regular craving ;) Thank you, Yolki Palki!“
“I highly encourage people to check out this restaurant. The good and wait staff is amazing…my only complaint was the bartender on duty..he was EXTREMELY rude to his teammates and made myself and several other guest uncomfortable with his attitude and yelling. I understand it being a long day and the end of dinner service…but his attitude was unfair to his teammates and unprofessional for guests. If I return and he’s working I will be getting takeout“
“I found this place on a day drive from the Washington DC area. These guys deserve 5 stars. The place a small converted garage, but very cool inside. Someone in an earlier Yelp referred to it as unique and I would agree. I tasted a few of their IPAs. The IPAs are incredible! The tap folks are real friendly and know their beer. Try it - highly recommended!!“
“The other day my coworkers were asking how I spent my birthdays growing up and I shared that no matter what, I always celebrate with an ice cream cake. Today when I got to work, I was absolutely blown away when they surprised me with quite literally the most beautiful red velvet ice cream cake I have ever laid my eyes on. It tasted great, but looked even better. The details on this cake were seriously out of this world! Mallory did an amazing job and truly made my day. Thank you!!“
“Stopped in Harrisonburg while traveling and did what I usually do, looked for a local brewery. Can not say enough good things about this place, the staff were phenomenal and the food was excellent but the real star was the beer. Had a Kolsch, it was fantastic and paired great with the Italian sandwich.Thank you, this was a great find after a long day of driving.“
“I first had their pumpkin roll cake at Heritage Bakery. It was so delicious that I contacted Branch’s and ordered two whole roll cakes! The roll cake is so moist and the cream cheese really balances the flavor. What I also love is that it’s not overly sweet at all! It’s just perfect! We will be ordering again! Friendly service, too!!“
“We were looking for a bite after leaving Shenandoah NP on our way to New River Gorge NP, and saw they did sandwiches here. Gonna go ahead and add a pic of their menu board. They got a couple options that sounded good. The two gals working were nice. The sandwiches were mid, nothing special. I got one on a hot-dog bun sized "sub roll" and pops got three slices of turkey, two slices cheese, two slices bacon on two white pieces of bread - toasted. Two sandwiches, two bags of chips, and two bottles of water was bout 25$. They got books, toys, soaps, candy, chips and sodas, and local meat and cheese for sale, and some tobacco products. Looks like a country store and a second hand shop - had some ol furniture, antique-looking stuff reasonably priced , some quilts and crochet for sale.Didn't have a negative experience, but if I'm in the area and looking for food, I'd keep driving. Left hungry and unwilling to drop another 25$ for us to get two more sandwiches, chips, and water.“
“Beer was good, not too busy for a Friday evening. They do have limited parking next to the brewery with a paid lot maybe a block or so away. Wasn’t the best brewery we visited in Harrisonburg, but worth the stop if you want a quick drink,“
“Visited this amazing winery yesterday all the way through was a great experience. When arriving the host (Lisa) was very accommodating to my seating preference and graciously answered any questions I had. The Food was amazing! Can't beat the views.“
