“It had been about two or three years since I had last eaten at this restaurant and a childhood friend had suggested it because of our both rather extremely large appetites and their large portions.

There were a few suggestions he recommended: Seafood Trilogy (which he ordered), and The Meatloaf. I saw a couple menu items that I liked on top of those: The Salmon and Shrimp Grits, and the Portabella Pasta and the option to add grilled Chicken and Andouille Sausage (which I did) and for $24 it was worth every penny. The dish was exquisite and it came with two pieces of bread.“

They make sure all the dishes she could eat and and made modifications if necessary. The presentation was great along with the taste and flavors of the food. I got the tuna melt and had them add lettuce, tomato, and onion to it since I've really been craving vegetables, and I had the potato salad for my side. The tuna was a little too salty for me, but that potato salad.... that potato salad.... lemme tell ya, it was made with love, devotion, and a promise to honor and protect. Going through their menu and seeing all the other options they have, has solidified my decision to come back and try a few more things. “We were in town for the night and a friend told us a out this place. OH MY I am so glad we went. Its a plate of big flavor. My husband had the chicken I had the filet..We talked to the chef after, very impressed and alot of experience under his belt. Wow is all I can say. We wish this place the best of luck“

“Great, low key, locals place for food food and drinks and even a game or two of pool. Separate, speak-easy style smokers lounge with two pool tables set up in the back of the building. One pool table on the non smoking bar and restaurant section as well.“

“So this is a small convenience store. The guys here are all very friendly. The food here is awesome, 1 because of the taste and 2 because of the price. This place has the best chicken gizzards in Norfolk hands down and you can get a large plate of them for like that it is like $5 and I mean a large plate, they got the hot sauce, ketchup, and seasoned salt in big bottles for you to smother them in too, Then you can get 10 deep fried chicken wings and they are great with no sauce or anything on them just some banging wings for like $7.50-$8. I mean you can put the hot sauce stuff on them as well. The burgers and fries are great, better than any fast food place around and cheaper. Now some of the other stuff in the store is a little pricey but that is normal for a small privately owned convenience store. The other food on the menu is good too I have had a few different items they have all been good and they are all reasonably priced. All I know is these guys throw down in their little kitchen, they are literally serving up some good food at a price that doesn't hurt you. So if you are on a budget and need a lunch option that isn't going to eat up your wallet, hit this place up. Forget the fast food places where every meal is like $15-20 dollars nowadays, you can go in here and get a meal and a drink that is better than any fast food for $10.“

“We were there for 'Hits at the Park'. It was a catered holiday party for the Tidewater Orchid Society Awards Dinner. The roast beef was beyond compare. So juicy & tender. All the food was great. Thankfully, they have an elevator. Drinks were well made.“

“My husband and I have been here multiple times and it never disappoints. We decided to come here tonight for our anniversary and we had Amanda as our server and she was the sweetest! Wonderful service. Perfect portion sizes. Amazing food. We have been here about 5 or 6 times and we have loved every experience. My husbands favorite dish is probably the cheap dates and I'm partial to the vegan curry empanadas. I'd also reccomended their miso glazed salmon and the bulgogi skirt steak rice bowl.

The wine selection as well is impressive. I cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely our favorite restaurant and we will 100% be returning customers!! ?“

“This was my first time here. First person I talked to was security about where I could park. I parked in the section she was at and she walked me up to the door, told me who to see and to have a great time. I had a great time! I had two great waitresses Brittny and Cris. But to have someone walk me to the door and explain everything, I knew I made the right choice. Oh she said get the prime rib or steak…the security lady. I got the prime rib, boy she was right on everything!“
