“Was looking for a place to eat that granted a good selection of beers and some vegetarian options, while I spent a couple of days staying in Arlington.
Galaxy Hut has crushed my expectations.
Buffalo things were very good, beer selection is massive, but the highlight was the burger.
By far the best vegetarian burger I have ever had, and also the eggplant fries, just wow!
Do yourself a favor and give this place a try, you won't regret it one bit.“

“We had our wedding at the Commentary on 5/31/25 and we could not be more thrilled with our experience. Olivia Martel and Chef Fran were PHENOMENAL to work with. Anything we wanted, we got. We wanted a low key, chill wedding, and decided on stations and the pasta bar with a plethora of appetizers and the execution was a 10/10. We loved having the whole bar and restaurant to ourselves in Ballston and welcoming guests from across the country and being in the Commentary’s/Westin’s care. They took really great care of us and we couldn’t be more grateful for the most beautiful day of our lives.“

“Kufta Kabab is tender with buttery rice and veggies; Chicken Shawarma Sandwich has great pita and goes great with the spicy sauce. I like healthy portions and nutritional variety for good value, and Astor hits the spot. The owners and staff are extremely gracious to create a welcoming atmosphere. They have a lovely patio to hangout. If you live in the neighborhood, it's a no brainier to make this your hangout spot.“

“Modern day CHEERS! BEST bar in the DMV! AMAZING PLACE! GREAT vibe/bands/staff/food/bar/service, and the most warm and welcoming staff and "regulars"! Remember the show "CHEERS"? Rename it Pete's! "Where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came." Just add terrific live music, great acoustics, and the best dance floor around! Truly impressive across the board - friendly, welcoming and FUN. Pete, Kelly and their team are true professionals; they love their work and make sure everyone feels welcome. Pete personally goes from table to table - when he's not joining the band/playing guitar! Kelly is wonderful, kind, warm, and consistently books the BEST bands around. Bartender Bo is indeed "super cool" and funny. Servers Mario and Andrea are helpful, attentive, efficient, and keep everyone very well-fed. Chef Pete (different one) regularly impresses with tasty appetizers, entrees, salads (Greek is a fave), desserts, and more. More than worth a visit - keep going back! I'm proud to be a regular (OK - groupie/super-fan) and my nights at Pete's are true weekend highlights. Thanks to everyone at Pete's for providing night after night of great food, music, and community! I've made some lifelong friends and would recommend Pete's to anyone wanting a fun night out with great people.“

“I thought I had booked the omakase experience, but realized I accidentally selected the wrong option, which was disappointing at first. The staff explained they prepare omakase for a set number of guests, so they couldn’t accommodate us last-minute.
That said, the manager and his staff, our wonderful server completely turned the experience around with their kindness. They comped part of our meal, brought out desserts for my husband’s birthday, and even treated me to a mocktail. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the night feel really special.
The service was warm and attentive, and we still had an amazing time. I’ve already booked omakase for next week and can’t wait to come back!
The place has great vibes. Highly recommend!! And the HANDROLLS WERE THE BEST WE'VE EVER HAD!!! forgot to mention how amazing the food was. Yummy!“

“My wife and I had lunch here earlier today and it was awesome! My half-price blue moon burger was excellent. High quality beef that was cooked to perfection. The Wrangler grilled salmon was was not overcooked and ithad great flavor. And my cup of cowboy chili really hit the spot. 😋. We ordered Texas barbecue brisket and another burger for takeout, and I’m sure both of those will be great as well. Thanks Karen for the great service!“

“Vibe is the place to be at 5pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Mark and Ly have been super cheerful, helpful, and accommodating this evening and deserve a shoutout. Bonus points if you show up past 9pm because they have a live DJ! If you are looking for a place to spend your weekend evenings, this spot is definitely a major recommendation! You won’t regret its. “Muy deliciosa! Don't be intimidated by the facade. The blacked out windows belie the bright, festive decor inside. We got a mix of street tacos that contained twice the meat compared to street tacos in comparable restaurants in the area. The hostess/waitress was very pleasant. The restaurant and bathrooms were spotless. We will definitely be back!“
