Biggest caveat, which is one of their strengths, is that the restaurant makes everything fresh… The spice levels have been variable at the five or six different ones I’ve been to! I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. LOL So far my favorite location has been crystal city around the pentagon shops. They always add ranch, and the cook is impeccable!“

“This branch is very impressive, unlike the 2-3 other branches I've visited.
- It's a kid-friendly branch, featuring a children's zone that's about 15ft x 10ft in size, as well as organizing events for children on certain days and times. The restroom has a step stool for children to reach the sink to wash their hands.
- There are many staff members who constantly walk around, asking and taking care of customers.
- The indoor seating area has about 20-25 tables for four people, including regular tables and a counter bar. There are 3-4 tables outside.
- It has a separate parking area from other plaza zones and a drive-thru.
- The restroom has tissue paper, soap, hand sanitizer available, as well as a diaper changing station.
- The day I visited was Thursday around 6:30 PM. The restaurant was packed and full of children, with only about 2-3 empty tables. The drive-thru had a continuous queue of at least 5-6 cars.

[Personal Opinion]
- This branch is suitable for families with children but not for people seeking peace and quiet because there are quite a lot of children who are noisy and running around everywhere.
- The restaurant size isn't very large, and the interior space feels quite crowded and cramped.
- The staff at this branch seem to be very well-trained. Everyone constantly asks about customers' needs and satisfaction and regularly cleans various areas.
- If you plan to buy food via the drive-thru, you might have to wait in line for a while because, as far as I could see, there were a lot of customers at that time.“

“Was in Springfield today and wanted to grab something different for dinner. I’m happy that I stopped Village chicken. If you’ve never been here I would definitely stop and give it a try. “I stopped here for an ubereats order and had to come back after delivering it. You could smell the chicken wafting into the parking lot when you walk up. I got the Pollo saltado if I remember correctly, with yuca and beans and rice. Absolutely bomb chicken with a whole lotta flavor. Its a good meal for your buck which I appreciate in this economy. I also got a Tamarind drink that lasted me the rest of the afternoon. I think I sipped it slowly because I was scared of finishing it, it was so good.
The atmosphere wasn't really my vibe, and that's okay. I didn't get the name of the guy that served me, bald guy, but he was funny and kindly communicative. There were also a few lads watching a soccer match in the lobby, but other than them there was nobody. If I have one regret after visiting here, it's that I didn't sit inside and watch that game while I ate.
Overall, coming from someone who's usually too scared to try new restaurants, I'm glad I tried this one. Will definetly be stopping here again to try the rest of the menu and see if I can't learn a thing or two about sports 👍“

“Parking: The small parking lot in front of their business is also used by three other businesses. City laundromat, El Patron Bar and Restaurant, and Fanny's restaurant. It is best to come to the street at the corner where Fannie's restaurant is and pull around the back side of Fanny's restaurant. There is a large gravel parking lot behind Fanny's. It makes it a lot easier to get in and out with no stress or trouble.“

I was just at your Sugarland Crossing location this morning in Sterling, Virginia, and I picked up a curbside mobile order and upon arriving home, I realized it was missing one part of my order. So I went back and was offered not the exact item that I had ordered for breakfast, but it was a similar item. Your manager offered a cookie or some thing along with that to offer his apologies and really all I wanted was the spicy fillet that I had ordered but he was more than apologetic and was extremely helpful. “The food here was actually quite good. I tried the fried chicken and it was tasty and the meat was juicy. On the chicken you can order normal or spicy or a combination of the two. They also serve burgers at reasonable prices. The side dishes were good. I tried the mashed potatoes with gravy and the mac and cheese. Both of these items were very good, but the mac and cheese took a special place in my heart for its great unique taste.“
