“The burgers are delicious and they have the friendliest, attentive, and most honest staff ever! I had a Hazy IPA and the Mediterranean burger with the cucumber salad. I left my credit card overnight and didn’t realize it until late the next evening. I stopped by and they had it, no extra charges, and such sweet staff!“
“Ok...it's McDonald's. This is my go to place when iI need to burger fix fast. I order my food with the App and I really like using that. I get free food after a while and the two for one specials on the app are awesome. Get and use the App and you will not be disappointed.“
“Glazed has been out go to for donuts and cold brew coffee since we moved back to the area. Everything we've gotten has been delicious. I need to give a special shout out to their holiday specials. We picked up their quiche and Key Lime Pie for Easter and both were AMAZING! Cannot recommend Glazed enough. If you haven't been here yet you need to plan your visit ASAP.“
“It's rare I give a 5 star review but this gem deserves it. Great coffee, the scones are awesome, as is the service and staff. The atmosphere is unique. It is located in the old Ft. Monroe fire station and decorated accordingly. They also have ice cream. Can't praise this place enough.“
“Back when I worked in Newport News, 7Brew Coffee was a great place to grab a quick coffee. The location is very convenient, with two drive-thru lanes that are run pretty smoothly. A big strong point is their customer service, which is very professional and efficient. They have a pretty big drink menu with lots of flavors. I feel like their coffee is better than some other fast food spots like 7-Eleven, Wendy's and McDonald's. They also make pretty good smoothies too. Price-wise, it's more affordable than Starbucks. Definitely check out 7Brew if you're in the area and you're in need of a quick coffee fix.“
“my partner and i stumbled upon this hidden gem of a coffee shop on an extremely hot day and was so surprised to see beautiful art of the wall (which i loved!) i ordered a vanilla ice latte, which is totally out of my norm but it was the perfect balance of smooth espresso and velvety vanilla sweetness. my partner opted for the milky way ice latte, which they enjoyed but would definitely try another flavor next time. the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had a great experience. the menu had an impressive variety of coffee drinks, and we can't wait to explore more of their offerings in the future. eat well, foodxcafecito“
“The Cure in Newport News is such a comfortable environment and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The Crème Brûlée macchiato was absolutely perfect as well as their “The Hangover Cure” breakfast sandwich. I will definitely be coming here again!“
“A nice little cafe with quality prepared food. It is a good place to go if you have little ones, as there is a play area located right next to seating. The prices are perhaps a little high for the overall experience, but still would highly recommend.“
“Had to be in the area for appointments throughout the day and needed to find places to work in between. 1st stop was Guilty Pleasure. I tried a Caramel latte, which was delicious. Very small shop with great coffee options. It was not the best atmosphere to take meetings because of the background noise, but otherwise, I was comfortable working there. The little outside terrace is also super cute.“
“Fikas is top notch! This isn’t just a coffee shop, it’s an experience and one everyone needs to have! From the events they plan monthly to the atmosphere, this is a must visit. What makes this place REALLY stand out, is the staff. Everyone who works here treats you like you’re family, going above and beyond every single time. If you’re looking for the best coffee shop in Virginia, go to Fikas!“
“Very friendly and accommodating to our large lunch party. Positive comments from co-workers all-around. Fresh, flavorful food. We definitely were not under fed, a few had food left to box after, but quality is more the focus rather than quantity.“
“I decided to try this amazing and was NOT disappointed. I had an iced match green tea latte with oatmilk which was so good. Thier pasta salad is a must try. I also had their carrot cake cupcake with frozen yogurt ( they have regular ice cream as well). Please ? stop in for a visit if you haven't before. This place is amazing. So is Keira.“
“I really enjoyed the environment - light and airy, with a wide variety of seating options. Plants are always a plus in a coffee shop. The drinks on the menu were super inventive and indicative of a new third wave coffee shop - whoever designed the menu knows what they are doing, and has a pulse on where modern day coffee trends are moving. However, it was clear our barista was still learning the ropes, and drink execution was subpar. No latte art on the lattes (not a necessity of course... but it's come to be expected in coffee shops charging $6.50+ for a 12 oz latte), and the "shaken" espresso was decidedly not shaken. Drink prices are steep, be prepared for that. I think I averaged about $8 per drink after tax and tip. I'd come back for the atmosphere alone, and perhaps to see what progress our barista has made in technique.“
“You should support businesses, not just for their quality of food, or coffee in this case, but also for how much their owners care about their customers. I just had a canvas employee drive to my house in Williamsburg, to hand deliver 2 bags of coffee because the USPS took over 12 days to get my order to me. That's WAY above and beyond. Thanks guys!“
“I really enjoyed the service at this Starbucks, I just have one request for all Starbucks stores. Please train your employees, to use the pouches on the sides and back of your bags, the way you used to in the past. These pouches are for the condiments, which they hold with their bare hands and throw in the bag with the food. I was a little Disturbed at one employee wiping his itchy eyes profusely with his fingers, and then grabbing my condiments with his bare fingers, and throwing them in the bag with my bagel. Not very sanitary, too much bodily fluids. But all in all this Starbucks is very respectful cheerful actually like going there just please use the pouches.“
“Our first time trying and we liked everything. The least favorite was the Spooky Slush but it wasn't bad. The Matcha Tea has a bit of a chalky taste to it. Price point was good and the drinks were worth it. We will definitely go back to try other things.“
“I love Krispy Kreme donuts, especially when they are hot. I would see the Hot and Now sign lit up and rush to go in and buy a dozen. It was the first time in many years that I've been to the restaurant looking for the tasty treat (glazed donuts). I asked the cashier when the donuts were last cooked, and the reply was first thing this morning. I was told they only cook donuts twice once in the morning and at 5 o'clock. What!! you only cook twice a day so by 12:00 p.m. the donuts had been cooked since around 7 or 8 that morning. I told the cashier I could have just purchased them at the grocery store instead of rushing down to the restaurant. I was "Not Happy." I wanted them hot right off the assembly line. Needless to say, I grudgingly brought 3 dozens. I could have saved myself a trip and gas.The service was very poor. There was no customer service. Just order, and Slap them in the box and off you go. Maybe I'll have better luck at the Denbigh location because the Hampton location is poor. The donuts' tasted store brought“
“I’ve had nothing but good experiences when coming to this store. All of the partners I’ve interacted with have been friendly and efficient when coming to making my order and if they have messed up my order by giving me dairy instead of a milk substitute I ask for, example: soy or oat. They never have made me feel guilty or giving me attitude for asking them to remake it since I can’t have regular milk. That’s why they have been my main Starbucks I visit. Keep up the good work partners.“
“Most of the baristas are nice and order was finished quickly. Cup was sticky but I wiped it.Vegetarian options: Not very manyKid-friendliness: Very goodParking: Not many spots, tight lanes. Need more handicap spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Access is okay. Door is heavy and manual. Only a couple of handicap spots for parking. Lots of open tables but a chair would have to be moved for wheelchair space e.Dietary restrictions: Staff is very helpful about checking for allergens or preventing contamination when they can“
“This is the Starbucks inside the Kroger. many other reviews seem to be for the exterior Starbucks near the road. This Starbucks is acceptable for an in store coffee and is fairly efficient. I'm giving them a bit of slack since they aren't a full Starbucks location.“
“Fast friendly service, perfectly situated to not have to get bogged down in the Frey of the shopping crowd. The one not so much of a plus that’s not their fault is that parking sucks. Parking is not available for just popping in and out you have to park and it’s not close to the store. Overall good location if you’re in the area any way.“
“Cannot recommend enough! This shop is BEAUTIFUL. If you're a plant guru than you will be so pleased with the ambiance. I went the other day for my first time and the staff were sooo sweet. I believe there were new hires being trained and the trainer was so patient and kind with them. I didn't get to try and pastries which I was bummed about but the food sounded great. I got a white chocolate iced coffee that was delish. I will most definitely be back!“
