“I walked into this place desperate for anything...given that it's tucked into a Safeway, I wasn't expecting much, but...lo, and behold, I was stunned how fantastic it is. The baristas are well trained at getting espresso drinks mixed perfectly at the right temperature, and the pastries blew my mind. I tried the garlic and cheese croissant, and then the ham and cheese, and they were unlike almost any such croissants I've tried. Also, everything is baked in-house fresh...nothing like the factory baked goods at, say, a Starbucks.

This is a hidden gem. Totally astounded at what I discovered.“

“Located in inside new grand market with a small seating area. The staffs were all very helpful and friendly. Bake goods were fresh. I had a cappuccino which for me was ok. But the cream filled strawberry croissant and matcha filled donut was delicious! The milk bread is soft and flavorful. Japanese cheesecake was ok. Also got a strawberry lychee cake to go and that was also delicious! Soft and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness! Nice to be able to do grocery and grab a sweet treat on my way out!“

“I did not realize I hadn't put this in earlier so I apologize for this very late review. The experience with Kalyani from start to finish was amazing. I wanted some things I couldn't see on the order form online and she was so very accommodating, gracious and so quick to respond. I ordered 8 mini cheesecakes (Nutella, lavender, blueberry, saffron, red velvet and plain) and a 9" chocolate cheesecake with chocolate ganache. Everything was so beautifully presented...one of those moments where you eat first with your eyes in anticipation because you almost don't want to cut into it. They all were fantastic...tasting true to their flavors and the ingredients were so incredibly fresh with just the right amount of balance of spice, sweet and slight tang. I'm sensitive to ingredients and I had no reactions so I knew hers were top quality. As this was for a special occasion with a friend coming into town, it really made her visit extra special. I would definitely recommend her cheesecake to anyone who loves quality cheesecake and wonderful customer service. You can feel the love and passion she puts into everything she touches with her business. Hoping more people discover just how talented she is.“

Not that big of a deal except the chocolate chip is the only one of my family member will eat. Also every time I ask this location to add a special note it never gets done. Tried contacting support, but it didnt work. Next time I guess ill save the extra $5 delivery fee and go in myself so I can verify I got what I paid for.“

“I had not heard of this bakery but a friend suggested meeting there a couple evenings ago. This was the Burke, VA location. The choice of pastries was pretty amazing, what we had was fresh and truly outstanding, service was efficient and friendly, and the place itself was very clean. Will be back!“

It was lemon cake with almond buttercream. It looked amazing and was scrumptious to eat. In addition, she made gluten free carrot cake cupcakes that were equally tasty.
