“Stepping into the Tous Les Jours tucked away inside the Lotte Plaza Market is usually a peaceful little trip. You grab some light, fluffy French-Korean pastries, maybe an Ube latte, and enjoy the clean storefront. But my last mission there was for a somber occasion: a funeral.

The staff was incredibly helpful, and while I was waiting, there was a nice kid sitting right there doing intensive accounting work in the corner of the shop, crunching numbers like a little Wall Street prodigy amid the smell of fresh taro bread.

Then I got the cake. Let me tell you, that cake was an absolute masterpiece—light cream, perfectly balanced fruit, the kind of dessert that makes you forget your own name. That was the fatal flaw. We took it back to the gathering, sliced it open, and a family debate instantly erupted over who deserved the last piece of strawberry-infused perfection. One thing led to another, words were exchanged, and a full-blown physical altercation broke out right next to the floral arrangements. Brawling over a grocery store bakery sponge cake is definitely a new low for our family tree, but honestly? It is hard to stay mad when the pastry game is that elite.

I wanted some things I couldn't see on the order form online and she was so very accommodating, gracious and so quick to respond. I ordered 8 mini cheesecakes (Nutella, lavender, blueberry, saffron, red velvet and plain) and a 9" chocolate cheesecake with chocolate ganache. Everything was so beautifully presented...one of those moments where you eat first with your eyes in anticipation because you almost don't want to cut into it. They all were fantastic...tasting true to their flavors and the ingredients were so incredibly fresh with just the right amount of balance of spice, sweet and slight tang. I'm sensitive to ingredients and I had no reactions so I knew hers were top quality. As this was for a special occasion with a friend coming into town, it really made her visit extra special. I would definitely recommend her cheesecake to anyone who loves quality cheesecake and wonderful customer service. You can feel the love and passion she puts into everything she touches with her business. Hoping more people discover just how talented she is.“

“Stopped by Dana’s Cake Shoppe in the Village at Leesburg and tried the Marble Nutella cupcake. It was absolutely delicious. Perfectly soft cake with just the right amount of sweetness, and the Nutella flavor really came through without being overpowering. It completely hit the spot when I needed a sweet treat. Definitely coming back to try more flavors.“

I was surprised to see a basket 🧺 way back in the corner for those less fortunate to take a loaf of bread 🥖 if you yourself are in hard times or even if you know someone, but it was empty . Although I’m not sure exactly how many loaves go into this basket nor when they bread 🍞 gets placed . My guess is at the end of the day or possibly in the morning . It would be nice to know .“

“Came in with my girlfriend for the first time at this location. A co-worker at my job had previously brought in some of their mochi donuts one day and I was instantly hooked. Some of the best pastries Ive ever had.

“Today I walked in to see what this bakery had to offer and left with more than I could have asked for. I found Fteer and Basbousa as well as several other items which I bought to try. The staff there and the owner were extremely nice and kept on giving us things to try and I can tell they take extreme pride in their products as they should. Unfortunately my vocabulary isn’t rich enough to describe my amazement of everything I tried from their bakery. The Basbousa was the best I ever had, better than the one I usually eat in Egypt. I strongly recommend it, do not expect your average bakery when you walk in as they are geared more towards wholesale to other businesses but still direct sell to customers, judge it once you actually try their items.“

“This cake was DELICIOUS!!! My friend purchased a Randy Cake for my twins 1st Birthday. Hands down the best tasting cake I have ever had. The picture doesn’t do it justice. “Was in a bind and way behind over the Christmas celebration with a wife who is gluten sensitive and has a birthday on Christmas Eve. Did an order in the AM and drove over to check out the place and glad I did as they were super busy and usually get orders weeks in advance. Chef Dennis did some magic and delivered an amazing teal colored (her favorite color) cake with yellow butter cake and chocolate butter icing. “What a great latin bakery. We went a little crazy and if we could of we would have bought one of each to try everything.
The crust on the empanadas is so good. The vanilla cake and and the cake with red, vanilla and chocolate was also just as good. The banana bread pudding was a big hit with my husband. The pan dulce was so fresh and light.

“I come to this location a lot and really love the cookies. The problem that I have encountered more than a couple of times is when a cookie is sold out there is no signage communicating that. So you come in, order at the kiosk, and while waiting for the order you are hit with “we are sold out! Would you like another cookie or a refund” Wouldn’t it be more efficient to write on a piece of paper that you are sold of something so that customers entering the store know? Or have it on the screen somewhere?

Update: they have finally fixed this issue and now when something is sold out it will show in the screen.“

“We ordered our wedding cake from Paris Baguette about a month before the wedding, and the whole process was really easy. We called the store, explained the size and number of tiers we wanted, and they were flexible in customizing it for us. Our design was very simple, just a plain white cake, so most of the customization was really about the size and layers. We had our florist add some flowers to help spruce it up, which helped make it not too plain.

We chose the Strawberry Cloud flavor and it was delicious. A lot of our guests liked it too. We were able to place the order, pay over the phone, and set up a pickup time, and the cake was ready on time the morning of our wedding with no issues.

The cake looked good, tasted great, and was very reasonably priced compared with a lot of traditional wedding cake options. This is a really good option for couples who want a simple wedding cake, good flavor, and a reasonable price. Just keep in mind that you’ll probably need to arrange pickup yourself.“
