“My favorite restaurant!!! Hands down! If I could eat Chinese and don’t worry about gaining weight then I would eat it more often. However, anything I ask they fulfill. I like my food a certain type of way and I’m very picky and they literally hit the mark every time. I’m greeted with a smile and definitely a warm welcome. They are quick too! So if they say 15 minutes. Trust it’s ready.“
“Don't walk but run to this Chinese restaurant! They prob have the best crab rangoon in the area by far! We also ordered the dumplings which were also delish.The S3 General Tso and C12 sesame chicken combo. Sooooo good! We also got 2 free drink, I'm not sure if they came with the meals but they were a good surprise when not expecting it.“
“We had a party of 10 and we were all pleased with the food and service. They have a perfect place to seat 10 people comfortably. All of our food arrived at the same time, hot, and very fresh. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. None of us had been here before, but we will definitely return.“
“We’ve been getting take out from Excel for more than a decade. The food is always good and the orders correct. We’ve ordered in person, on the phone and now order online. I don’t know the name of the woman who works there. She’s been there since we’ve been coming. She’s always friendly and quick with the orders. I highly recommend.“
“The only reason why I gave this place 4/5 on atmosphere is because it’s not like a Michelin star restaurant space or anything, it’s a casual Asian American restaurant with a wide selection of menu items and lunch/dinner specials. Their curry meal deal is my favorite so far. Just be aware there’s limited parking available so you gotta use the library parking lot.“
“I’m in the area visiting for a month and stumbled upon Top’s China Restaurant. I’ve eaten here twice and both experiences were great. First visit I had the shrimp, fried rice and broccoli it was so good and fresh as well as packaged nicely. Second visit I had the shrimp fried rice with broccoli on the side and it was also very good. I thought the shrimp fried rice would have all the shrimp at the top and nothing at the bottom but nope they tricked me and had shrimp throughout my whole container which is exactly what I expect when I order shrimp fried rice. The customer service has been great both visits and the food has been hot both times. Thank y’all for great customer service and food I highly recommend and will be back before I leave I’m sure.“
“The best Chinese restaurant in Petersburg. Has that great sketch vibe that means you know it’s fire. Huge portions. Shrimp egg rolls have big pieces of real shrimp. The boneless spare ribs is super soft and tender. General Tso Combo was massive. New favorite “
“So far, this is my favorite place for pork fried rice and egg foo young. The rice was tender and moist, and the EFY patties were loaded with roasted pork and veggies. And if I could, I'd buy the EFY gravy by itself.To improve the atmosphere, they might want to consider using a fan or two to cool off the dining room. While I fanned myself with a menu, another customer waited outside for his order, saying the breeze made it cooler out there.“
“Ive been going here for years. Always fast. Orders always correct. Even willing to customize orders against the menu. Haven't had one item on the menu I didn't like.I do wish they'd bring back the $5 lunch buffet but its still treated like 2019 covid there.The old guy who's the owner i believe is an absolute d1ck. But im hoping the nice lady that's always there behind the counter takes over someday.“
“We eat from here lot!!!! I love the staff, super sweet!!! My order is always right, always more than we can eat in 1 sitting. My partner & I have NEVER gotten sick from the food. If they had a buffet I'd eat here every night!!! After a horrible day in May I decided to order dinner here, I accidentally dropped my bank card outside & the owner was sweet enough to hold it for me & wanted a lot of details before she just handled the card over to anyone. I was very grateful for that!!! If I was having a party I'd have Bamboo cater for me.“
