Our server Ty was amazing, providing us excellent service, anticipating our needs before we even said anything, his cheerful demeanor brightening up our day. Our food came out in record time and was absolutely perfect. The best part, and the reason behind PF Chang’s elevated level of service, is their Manager. He leads by example, going around to tables, checking to see how everyone is enjoying their meal. This of course provided us with the perfect opportunity to gush about Ty’s performance, professionalism and courteous conduct. This manager, through his leadership, has taken PF Chang’s level of service to what you see in five star restaurants. One thing we were looking for was a New York-style egg roll - and Panda House has them! They're crispy, tasty, and just the right size! Owners are very nice, I witnessed her once bring a fry pan out for customer to try sauce & she thought was too spicy so owner asked what she liked & invented her a new dish, and put it in computer so she could order it again. “This place has potential. I had Orange Chicken, Egg Roll, and Fried Wontons.
Fried Wontons had a good amount of meat. The wrapping needs to be thicker. That would make it Great, but "as is" it is still very good.
Egg roll wrapping was great. The filling was Good, but it needs some meat like roast pork just like they make it in NYC. They are pretty good as well.
Orange Chicken is a Must Have. Definitely, one of the best orange chicken I ever had. Not on the menu, you need to order it directly. Highly recommend.
Pricing was average.
I was reading other reviews and people we stating that food is not consistently good. I order again some other time to verify.

“One of my favorite restaurants for many years now. I used to go to Manassas Young Chow until it closed. Now I have to drive to Haymarket but it's worth it!

Vegetarian options: You can get a few vegetarian dishes. Everything I've ever gotten here is good to delicious

“Our Monday night dinner group has come back here multiple times. The smell is wonderful immediately when you walk in. The host and all staff there are super friendly and always fun to chat with. Our waiter had our whole table laughing every time we engaged with him. Everyone's orders were perfectly cooked, nice sized portions and came out very quickly. “My neice wanted to go to her favorite place for her 18th bday, so my sister called the Chin Chin Cafe and they said no problem. They had reserved tables when I arrived so I could decorate. Raymond was the MOD and was very helpful. We also had great customer service from the 3 employees working that night, it could not have gone any smoother! The timing of the food coming out was perfect!! Everything from the appetizers to the sushi to the main course dishes were delicious and plentiful. All our guests, especially the bday girl, were very happy. if you have not tried them yet, do yourself a favor and do so. “I like this restaurant. I’ve become very discerning where I spend my money on restaurant food nowadays. These guys are consistently good. Reasonable prices and friendly service. I always look around at who is eating there. As a non Korean, if there’s Korean people eating there, it has to be good. Koreans won’t spend their hard earned cash on crap, and they are always there. “Excellent dumplings, but a little pricy for the portions. Don't get me wrong, I'll still come back and eat more because it's hard to find such varieties of dumpling flavors. I just wish the dumplings were a little bigger or came with maybe 2 or 3 more on a plate. I ate them all so fast though that I didn't get a chance to take a picture ?

“I have been coming to this restaurant for 5 years now and I would highly recommend the lo mein. The shrimp lo mein is me and my wife's favorite. They don't use tiny cocktail shrimp that is typical of most places. They use the jumbo shrimp you would find at a fancy seafood restaurant. Other dishes I have tried were good too.“

“You're probably used to the hot pot spiel by now. In case you're uninitiated, at hot pot places like Hot Spot here, you pick your soup base from a bunch of possible options - se chuan, tom yum, herbal, etc. Then you order a bunch of raw meat and veggies to cook in your soup. You have a personal cooker for your soup and you can adjust the heat. There's also a sauce bar in the back where you mix your own flavor of sauce. Look up the sauce bar for sauce recipes.

The place could get crowded on Friday and weekend nights. If the weather is cold like it's a hot pot kind of day, you can expect an hour's wait. The original Hot Spot (not this location) used to be one of the only ones in the area a few years back. Now, there are so many options. I cannot say anything stands out about this particular establishment. The food is alright. If you live nearby and don't want to drive far, it's a good hot spot option. For me, the soup bases are not as punchy here. That's only my preference. If you do prefer your soup on the lighter side, this could be a perfect "Hot Spot" for ya.“

Not sure why reviewers would ever try comparing China Cafe to a white linen asian restaurant as this type of comparison is nonsensical. Therefore, anything less than 5-stars is demeaning and culturally marginalizing which China Cafe does not deserve.

And at least two tables seated with 2-4 customers each eating in the restaurant. So yes a great place to satisfy that itch for old school Americanized Chinese food.“

“I have been coming here since we moved to VA back in the early 2000's. For a while I stopped eating here due to covid and health issues, but I'm so glad I started again! They have the best lo mein in the area and their egg rolls are always crispy. They are the reason I fell in love with chicken corn soup and General Tso's. Drove over an hour and got about 70 dollars in food from this location after confirming it was the same one (chain?) from Reston for my moms birthday...I think they even had the same decorations from the old store (chain?). They perfectly packaged my order. After years it made me so happy my mom was able to enjoy the same hot and sour soup she loved and remembered and has been taking about and missing for years.
