“Service was great and beyond exceptional. A place to try for special occasion for seafood. We had the grilled octopus and sardines for appetizers. Both are great options. We had the Connecticut version of lobster roll which came in hot. The catch of the day was a pan seared cod. It was good. The hit was the squid ink risotto. This place is great to celebrate special occasions but not for weekly or even monthly dining. Would be cost prohibitive.“

“I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “My wife and I came here for the first time and were seriously impressed. The service is next level, the staff is incredibly attentive, and even compared to other Korean BBQ spots that cook and cut the meat for you, the attention to detail here is just that extra 5% better.

The quality of the meat is easily the best we’ve had at any Korean BBQ in Northern Virginia. The sides also stood out, especially the crunchy potato (kind of like a hash brown), which we highly recommend. And the sauces are hands down the best we’ve had anywhere.

Two of us had the filet mignon and both were cooked perfectly with delicious mashed potatoes and asparagus! Yum! Our friend had the pork chop and it was buttery tender and delicious! We shared three desserts - chocolate mousse, cheesecake and olive oil lemon cake, all of which were divine! Now this is the way a lunch sandwich should be- clearly REAL turkey meat, fresh lightly toasted multigrain bread, green (not white/yellow) lettuce and (in my favorite case) real cranberry spread. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. “Recommended by a coworker to try this place. I got the lamb Vindaloo and garlic naan. The vindaloo was good and had a good amount of spice to it but could be spicier (my personal preference) Was a good heat to make you have a slight sweat but enjoy the meal overall. Compared to the other portions my coworkers got it was quite small but had plenty of lamb in it. I do wish there were more potatoes added.

The staff were friendly I believe they’re father and son. It was the grand opening and they gave us 20% off our orders so for Vindaloo, cup of rice, and naan bread the total was $15.80 usually the vindaloo is $17 and some change (naan not included) definitely will try again when in the area.“

“Incredible experience we get one hour lunch most places do not let us order in advance so we have to go order and waste a good 20 to 25 minutes for food and then quickly shove it down and then ask for a check. This place they let us order an hour in advance so when we get there to dine in the food is ready. The staff is extremely nice and courteous. The food is the main star everything I have tried here taste absolutely perfect The spice level you asked for you get they are very conscious about spices. I've gotten red curry green curry drunken noodles and pad Thai along with other appetizers and they are always delicious the side dipping sauces are delicious please try this place if you get a chance you will not regret it and the prices are decent.“

“There are so many pho restaurants in NOVA, but Pho Hai Duong has quickly become my favorite. I order their combination pho with extra hoisin and jalapeños at least once a week, and with their early opening hours I can even get pho for breakfast! The staff is very courteous, and our food has consistently been excellent. Given that there are limited food options on Fort Belvoir, it’s understandable that this location can get busy during peak lunchtime hours, especially since it’s a new and popular spot. Order well in advance and utilize walk-in instead of the drive through if you suspect it will be busy.
