“This place is truly a hidden gem. Food is extraordinary and the service spectacular. It's off the beaten path, but it is more than worth it. Make a day out of it, see the scenery, and eat the most delicious food in this area.My family who can be picky at times said it was the best they ever had, and that's saying something. I would eat here every day if I could.Mike the owner is an excellent host as well. Such a down to earth individual with an extraordinary talent when it comes to cooking. We will definitely be back.“

“We went here for dinner in mid-October and enjoyed our meal. At this point in the year it wasn't packed, but there were several other parties. Overall, it had a good atmosphere.

I had the crab cake, which was quite tasty and packed with crab, as expected. The sides were also very good.

We also had a shareable plate of fried oysters, which I recommend if they're something you'd like.

“My family and I tried this gem today, and we were honestly blown away. I’m a restaurant industry veteran, and I can say with confidence: this is easily some of the best food in Urbanna. ​I had the 'Mother Cluckin' chicken sandwich (incredible flavor!), my husband loved his BBQ, and the tenders were a hit with our daughter. A huge shoutout to our waiter—he actually hand-made our lemonade, which was a refreshing touch you just don’t see elsewhere. We couldn't resist grabbing some strawberry ice cream, fresh cinnamon raisin bread, and a few tinctures from their shop up front. ​Everything was top-notch. My only heartbreak? We left our to-go box on the table! We’ll definitely be back for a round two.“

“We have been to the store four or five times. Nothing exciting about the outside or inside of the store, but excellent fish and shellfish. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The staff cuts steaks from larger pieces of fish to.meet your needs.
We are hoping they are open year round.

“My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Hope & Glory! The accommodations were beautiful and charming. We especially loved the flowers in the garden. The Inn was quiet and peaceful. The pool was perfect. We were walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff is incredible and we could tell they put a lot of heart into making sure their guests have a welcoming and special stay. They make you feel right at home. We will spread the word and sure hope to be back again! Thank you!!“
