“The best meal I’ve had in my entire life. It’s a small, intimate environment; I’d recommend the chef’s counter. The wait staff was terrific; explaining every dish and answering questions. (The chef is also happy to talk too.) Every dish in the tasting was terrific, particular highlights were the wagyu two-ways entree, the ravioli with uni butter, and the soup at the end. Of course, it’s a seasonal menu, so you’ll probably be seeing something different—but I’m confident it’ll be excellent. Also, the cocktails were terrific.

We didn’t add the caviar, as it felt kind of like a hat on a hat, but hey… live your best life.

I will also say, with omakase menus, we often worry that we won’t be full at the end. That was not an issue. It was the perfect amount of food for us.“

“I had a very large order for a birthday celebration, thus a to-go order. One of the families had just returned from living in Japan for several years. The quality and creative selections were so good that they were even impressed. I ordered just a little more than I needed, but the sushi boats were much generous than expected, so we had very nice leftovers to enjoy. Everything was packed and carefully, and the platters were beautifully arranged; it almost felt bad to eat them and ruin the artwork. We will definitely be back!“

“I’ve found a new favorite Japanese restaurant! Real Japanese food made with actual Japanese ingredients, not the same as the stuff you find in mall food courts or at that [FAST]way chain joint. I ordered the Chicken and Steak Hibachi and the Chicken Yakisoba, and they were both delicious! Portions aren’t generous though, but healthy; you won’t feel overstuffed after eating.“

The waitress, Emily, recommended some dishes, and we ordered them right away. She wasn't just beautiful and kind-hearted, she was practically a buddy! We started off with the edamame and miso soup and salad. We were BLOWN away with how good everything was right off the bat! The house salad had a onion sauce on the top that was so good! Best house salad I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. Then we both had rolls that were amazing! Joanne was our waitress and she was so kind and efficient. “I absolutely love this place, their crepes are incredible. I’ve had the matcha chocolate truffle and the lychee rose and both were excellent. The crepe itself is so crisp and the fillings are always balanced and not too sweet. My only feedback is I wish they had knives and plates to put the crepe on; I was sharing two with a friend and it was impossible to cut them with plastic forks and try to share. Besides that it’s so delicious and I can’t wait to try more of them!“

“I've been to Shibuya several times since they opened. The quality of the ingredients is very high. Each individual part of the dishes whether it is the amazing pork belly, the marinated bamboo shoots, the rich broth or little marinated vegetable dishes, are outstanding. “I discovered this restaurant after getting my lashes done at Evalash and decided to give it a try since it’s relatively new. I’m so glad I did! I ordered the spicy kimchee fried rice to go and enjoyed some spring rolls and wine while I waited. The spring rolls came out quickly, were perfectly crisp, and absolutely delicious — I wish I’d ordered extra to take home! But the real standout was the fried rice. Packed with flavor, the kimchee was just right, and the pork belly I chose as my protein made it even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!“
