“The food was great. We had the iftar buffet. It is expensive at $50 per person but it’s worth it. Flavorful food.

One complaint I have was being charged for a dessert without any indication that this was not part of the buffet. I took a biscoff cake that was in the fridge within the buffet line and later found out that this was not part of the buffet. I feel this was very misleading as there was no sign indicating that items in the fridge are not part of the buffet. This can be an easy mistake for anyone to make. If it is not part of the buffet, please place a sign and/or lock the fridge. I feel this is a very easy mistake to make as there was no indication that these items are not part of the buffet price and that they have an additional cost.

I also think it would be better to reorganize how tables are laid out. We were seated towards the back of the restaurant and it was very cramped. Some tables had high chairs as well which basically blocked our only 2 paths out and we had to squeeze through. I think this poses a major safety concern and should be addressed given the amount of people seated in the restaurant. Please either reposition some tables or reposition where high chairs should be located at tables to ensure they do not block the walkways.

Other than this, food was good, service was good, and they had a large selection of drinks available. I do plan on trying them out again as the food was delicious.“

“We love Mezeh restaurants, so when visiting Tysons for the day we stopped into this one. It’s actually connected to the mall via Bloomingdale’s.

Service was great, helpful, and friendly. The selection was excellent and all items were fresh and appealing looking. Their chicken kabob was really nicely done and tender! That shuug sauce was spicy, but flavorful!

“A very beautiful restaurant that serves delicious dishes. The taste is wonderful and very, very delicious. The place is very wonderful and their service is excellent. Their pies are amazing and what I liked most is the meat with chickpeas, something that reminds you of the country.
Frankly, I recommend visiting them and I am sure that you will return to them again

It not only met but exceeded them. Mast-o Musir, yogurt dish with Persian dried shallot and rose petal, was exceptional— more elevated and nuanced than any we’ve had. The mushroom Khoresht stew with white truffle was another highlight, offering perfectly balanced flavors something hard to do with white truffles and a satisfying richness, complemented by the perfectly crunchy Tahdig, iconic golden rice crust. The braised lamb shoulder which Yacine suggested was the undeniable highlight of the meal I which each dish was excellent. Tender and flavorful, it was paired beautifully with texture. It’s a signature dish that rivals the best we’ve ever had, bringing to mind the legendary Bo Ssam pork shoulder from David Chang’s Momofuku— bold, unforgettable, and expertly prepared. The Gormeh Sabzi, short rib stew with its delicious sour depth, was excellent but couldn’t quite match the lamb’s showstopping brilliance. Two very minor points. While the food and service are exceptional, the main dining room lighting would benefit from dimming. A water filtration water system could make a big difference as well. JOON has firmly secured its place as a must-visit dining destination for us. We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu.“

There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. “I have gone twice and both times have been amazing. There is a good variety of flavorful food to choose from. I love the chicken kabobs. They are so good and juicy. But my favorite is the rice. I'm not familiar with all the names but every type I've tried has been good. On top of the great food is the friendly and welcoming staff. This is some of the best kabob I've had in the area. And to have a buffet lunch is a dream come true.“

“The interaction with the lady at the counter is often a cause of worry. It could be me, but her anxiety and stress levels are thru the roof all the time. “This was a great place for lunch on a Saturday with my family! Generous portions, healthy and fresh food and my toddler ate really well from our plates. They do also have some kids items and a high chair. I loved the mezza platter and there was a lot of chicken with the Shawarma Greek Salad, which I wasn't expecting.

“I can't say enough about my experience at Mezeh. I ordered catering for 25 people about a year ago, and everything was perfect - the customer service, the delivery, the food quality, the portions, etc. Everything was really wonderful.

“Definitely worth a visit — this place is definitely slept on. The menu is not overwhelming and the prices are quite reasonable for the area (~$20-25) per person if you get food and a beverage.

4 stars simply because the underside of my coffee cup cover was covered in dust… otherwise everything else was perfect. I’ll be back again.

The inside is quite sleek and clean with several outdoor tables available.

Highly recommend the spicy chicken flatbread (one of their most popular dishes). Top notch from its taste to its portion.

Note: I love americanos so be prepared to be served a European-style Americano (it’s basically half cup compared to the American Americanos and it’ll taste strong)“
