“Gracious staff welcomed us in. The restraunt was very clean and the decor is beautiful. There are so many vegan options on the menu, it's hard to decide what to try first. We ordered the brown rice garden rolls, pad thai and congee. Everything was delicious. We plan to be frequent customers, and maybe eventually we'll be able to try everything on the menu.“

“From the moment we walked into Umpli Dumpling, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere is welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious; our waiter, Jonathan, recommended the fried pork chops, the new pork belly, and the chicken ramen.

However, what truly stood out was the service. Our waiter, Jonathan, was exceptional. He knew the menu inside and out, gave us excellent recommendations, and made sure our drinks were never empty. It's rare to find such a great combination of food and top-notch hospitality. We will definitely be back!“

“We admittedly did not pay attention to the hours of operation and came after 2:15 (they close at 3 for a break prior to dinner hours) with a party of 8.... thankfully we were the only party, otherwise we could have been turned away. But the sweet woman seated us and let us know nicely. We did our best to eat quickly and respect their closing time so that we could come back shamefree lol!

“Was lucky to be in Barcroft Plaza today, and stopped to eat for the first time at HoneyGrow! An employee explained their menu and options, very helpful. I ordered the Greek salad with banana honey bowl- the food was very fresh and delicious! They even have a nice patio area out front. Highly recommend!“

“Honeygrow was bright, inviting, and a great first experience. Beverly was super helpful and friendly, even though they were closing in 15 minutes. I tried the chicken shawarma and garlic butter chicken — the shawarma wasn’t really spicy to me, more of a sour/pickled flavor, but the garlic butter chicken was delicious. I also liked the digital menu with pictures and that they offer samples. I’ll definitely be back to try the banana pudding.“

“This place is incredible. I am not aware of any other luosifen noodle house in the area. If you, like me, are a newcomer to this style of noodle soup, you are going to be extremely impressed. The bone broth is bracing, complex, and flavorful, far richer and deeper than pho or tonkotsu. Recommend getting it spicy: it brings all the flavors together without being overwhelming. Additionally, the Sichuan menu is one of the best in the area, second only to Mama Chang's and Hong Kong Palace. This place is pretty new and trying to get its feet underneath it. “Had read some mixed reviews but we gave it a shot and we were greatly impressed! We called ahead for our party of 10 and they had our reservations ready and accommodated us nicely. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Our party ranged from age 14 to 55, some loved Thai and some had never tried it. There was something for everyone to enjoy on the menu. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. We had a large party and it didn't break the bank, as they say. Great food and comradery was had by all! I don't normally write reviews, but again, I was impressed. Definitely recommend!“

“I went here with my sisters and found the place empty. I was confused as to why, as I later found the food to be great! I had ordered the halal chicken ramen and added spice. It was warm, yummy and the chicken was seasoned amazingly. I ordered the edamame, and for 6.50 I expected a little more than what I got. I enjoyed the self serve water dispenser. I am giving a 4 - star review because my sister had ordered separately (she got the same thing) and her broth was very bland. As someone who does not have halal options near them, this was great!“

Here’s my quick take:
Walked in not expecting much, but the place has a clean, no-frills vibe that feels pretty authentic. You can tell this is more about the food than the experience.

Started with the soup dumplings — honestly, these are the reason to come here. Good broth inside, not too greasy, and held together well (which is half the battle with XLB).

Went for the spicy beef noodle soup next. Flavor was good, comforting, but I wish it had a bit more punch. Noodles were legit though — chewy, fresh, and clearly the highlight.
Service was… okay. Not bad, not great. Feels like a place that gets busy and just keeps moving.

Overall: this is a solid local spot. Not mind-blowing, but if you order right, you’ll walk out happy. Definitely coming back for dumplings and buns.“

“We went on Saturday around 6 pm and were able to find parking. Food and service were excellent. Not very busy. However, they are known for more late night business.

We have been trying to go here with no success. There is never amy parking even after sitting in the parking lot for 15 mins waiting on someone to come out. Surrounding parking areas are blocked off or have towing signs posted. We will keep trying to go, however, since the reviews are good.“

My son has allergies and the staff were really accommodating to make sure we didn't have any issues. “Incredible experience we get one hour lunch most places do not let us order in advance so we have to go order and waste a good 20 to 25 minutes for food and then quickly shove it down and then ask for a check. This place they let us order an hour in advance so when we get there to dine in the food is ready. The staff is extremely nice and courteous. The food is the main star everything I have tried here taste absolutely perfect The spice level you asked for you get they are very conscious about spices. “There are so many pho restaurants in NOVA, but Pho Hai Duong has quickly become my favorite. I order their combination pho with extra hoisin and jalapeños at least once a week, and with their early opening hours I can even get pho for breakfast! I love the quality of their meat, the flavor of their broth, and the consistency of the meal each time I order. I definitely recommend this restaurant and feel spoiled to be able to eat there so regularly. 💯“

“Hungry? Need a quick bite? Try the joy roll! I did and it’s a little crispy spring roll inside a bigger roll; filling and slightly different in a fun way from your typical roll. I liked both the joy roll and the summer roll with its unexpected bit of extra herb flavor a good step forward from the plain generic summer roll you have had 75x. I’d come back and try more but I have to be somewhere later.“
