“Came to Ometeo with my wife for dinner the other night. We got chips and queso, along with fajitas to share. Tony Gomez was our waiter and he did a wonderful job. He was very attentive to all our needs as well as constantly checking up on us. The food was pretty good, but what made the experience was the waiter. If you ever decide to come here make sure to ask for Tony as he will always make sure you’re treated like you’re his own family. Would definitely come back and will recommend to my friends and coworkers.“

“Honestly this is one of the better California Tortilla locations I have gotten food at. I sometimes eat here when I’m at the mall with my girlfriend when we can’t agree on something. The food is pretty good and the service is friendly and professional. I definitely recommend this food court eatery if you’re in the mood for California style Mexican food and quirky burritos.“

“Went tonight. Am a Texan who used to go to the original back in the early 1990s on Barton Springs. I was impressed. Got the combo fajitas, where were very good especially for the price. A lot of meat (I asked for only meat and cheese). Service was excellent, inside was very nice. I had low expectations as the one by me in Dallas sucked (and closed), but this was solid. Peer to Guapo's which I like, but had more meat for about the same price. Expect I will go back. Thanks.“

“This place is kind of small hole in the wall. Seats about 14 or so outside and not many more people inside. Nice menu that's not too large or too small. Some Tex-Mex menus have way too many choices. The starter tortilla chips and salsa were top notch. Service all around was excellent. I had the Chicken Chimichanga and it was one of the best I've ever had. It came with rice and refried beans as well as pico, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced. The presentation was great as well Can't wait to come back.“

“The name is a little misleading. They serve authentic Latin American cuisine. Not a huge place, seating is limited. Consider takeout. I’m a huge fan of their salteñas and fried plantains. Very affordable. Entree portions are generous in my opinion. I’ve only been for lunch and dinner. The bakery case has lots of treats that I need to explore.“
