“I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “My sister and I really enjoyed the calamari, cucumber salad, braised beef and noodle soup and garlic green beans. I rate those 5 stars. We also ordered the ugly dumplings sampler, I rate this zero star and it a waste of money. Now the service was excellent! Our server Abel took his time explaining the menu since it's our first visit. He was always smiling, courteous and respectful.“

“This place really deserves the high rating! It's a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The cafe is charming, very clean, and as cheerful as the name suggests! We had a veggie breakfast burrito and a veggie omelet, both of which were delicious and full of fresh ingredients. The coffee was really good too. There are lots of options on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. The lady who runs the place (owner?) is so nice and welcoming, too. We'll definitely be back!“

I usually prefer a more spaced out seating arrangement but that’s my own personal opinion and it isn’t even possible because the place is small. “The best Vietnamese food hands down! When I’m in the area I always have to stop by Le Bledo to get a banh mi and a soup. The consistent quality and attention to detail is what makes this place great. I know what to expect so I’m always satisfied with my food from the fresh baked daily bread to the variety of Vietnamese classic soups such as pho, bun bo hue, and bun rieu 😋 10/10 highly recommend and bring a friend!“

“You have got to ask for Jay Kim, he is the best server in the house. He was patient and ever so helpful with us as first time hot potters. I had a vegetarian hot pot, well, except for the dumplings. Although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and provided me with an alternate option. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. We had a party of 8 and Jay Kim made it so much fun!!! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. This was a great first hot pot experience and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to ask for Jay Kim. I know you will enjoy it!!!“

“Used to be one my favorite places for Korean bbq, and was high on my list of places to recommend to others, but with each visit I have noticed the portion size getting smaller. I feel like the price to meat ratio now is becoming a bit unfair (at least for me). Hence, 4 stars.“

“In a shopping center so we didn't have any issues with parking.

I feel like this place was more so a take out place than a sit down place. You order up front and then sit wherever. There wasn't any water, silverware, napkins, or self service area. We ordered everything at the counter and they bring it out to you. We did have to ask for appetizer plates but they have single baskets that have some napkins, a soup spoon, a fork and wooden chopsticks. If we asked for another fork, we just got handed another basket. So while the overall experience was a little counterintuitive in my opinion, we did enjoy the food.

They have sodas and bottled water and tea options. We ordered a summer Roll (#2) , the egg rolls (#1) and the crispy shrimp rolls (#5). For our entrees ordered the Special Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (#95), Shaken Marinated Stir Fry (#50), and the Shaking Beef Bahn Mi (at a menu on the counter).

We loved everything we got, it was all very good. I really enjoyed the Bahn Mi. I definitely want to come back!“

“Best sandwich I’ve ever had. I got the turkey and Brie. You can see the cranberry sauce/relish brewing right there in a big stainless steel pot on the stove right behind the cashier. Everything was warm and melty and delicious.

Great ingredients. Friendly staff. Good music playing. Fast service. Chill little tucked away spot. First time here so I can’t speak to rest of the menu but it’s gotta be great. Five stars.“

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this Thai restaurant! I ordered the Pad Broccoli with beef, and it was perfection — tender meat, fresh vegetables, and that rich, savory flavor that hits all the right notes. “You can’t get better soup than from a place that specializes in it. The seollongtang had plenty of noodles and meat. The galbitang had a savory broth, lots of meat — great flavor all around. The haemul pajeon was crispy and stuffed with seafood.

The standout item was the kong-guksu. Dad had been craving it as it was a favorite of his in childhood. He has tried it at other places and wasn’t impressed. Here, he finished the whole thing and would’ve licked the bowl clean.

Note: the soups are under-salted so you can customize them to your liking. The salt containers on each table have enough salt to please any saltaholic.“

“This is a wonderful, low-key restaurant in the heart of Courthouse serving amazing Indian-Nepalese food. I ordered a vegetarian Thali and the curries tasted very fresh and homemade. The thali also comes with a good quantity of rice and fresh naan all for a very reasonable price. While there is no seating inside the restaurant, there are places to seat outside in the plaza. Overall, this was a great experience for a quick takeout spot and I will definitely be back!“

I was impressed by the many menu items I’d never heard of before, especially the ones that said there was no option to substitute ingredients, even the meat. “There are so many pho restaurants in NOVA, but Pho Hai Duong has quickly become my favorite. I order their combination pho with extra hoisin and jalapeños at least once a week, and with their early opening hours I can even get pho for breakfast! “I really love this place! The food is always hot, flavorful, and the portions are huge (they give you so much rice!). The portion of chicken was a good amount, but it was chewy and dry despite the broth. The broth was lacking flavor which could’ve been improved with stronger seasoning, but the sriracha helped. Overall, it was a good meal, but I’d try something other than the pho ga next time.“

The staff is very courteous, and our food has consistently been excellent. Given that there are limited food options on Fort Belvoir, it’s understandable that this location can get busy during peak lunchtime hours, especially since it’s a new and popular spot. Order well in advance and utilize walk-in instead of the drive through if you suspect it will be busy. We also had our office lunch catered from here, and everything was prepared on time and to a high standard. Many thanks to the entire staff!“

For reference we stop by 1-2 times a week at this location. Typically between 3-4.
We frequently order the Roasted Turkey & Avocado.

“I stumbled across this pho spot while visiting The Tasty Crab, and I’m so glad I did! I love pho soup, and after checking out the menu, I was happy to see the prices were comparable to my favorite spot back in New Jersey.

I came back the next day for a late lunch/early dinner, and it did not disappoint. The deep-fried spring rolls and summer rolls were absolutely delicious — fresh, crispy, and full of flavor.

I ordered the B13, which includes slices of well-done brisket, well-done flank, fat brisket, soft tendon, and bible tripe. It was a bit more variety than I’m used to, but it all worked together really well. My daughter and I shared a bowl and still had leftovers to take home — very generous portions!

The only downside was the $0.50 charge for an extra take-out bowl. It’s not a huge deal, but I feel like that should either be included in the price or they could use smaller, more cost-efficient containers.

Other than that, I absolutely loved the pho. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be back — and I highly recommend it!“
